Alarm situation was the same here until I spent a week highly emotional at him at when I couldnt sleep because it had gone off at five and I'd spend between midnight and four wide awake. Week culminated in me holding his precious phone out the window at five in the morning in tears threatening to drop it.
Alarms set for 6 now and goes off twice instead of 20 times. Grin Grin

Somersetgirl1990 · 17/07/2014 07:38

I think it must be a man thing - mine also sets about 10 alarms just so he can turn them all off. Not fun at 4am. He goes to bed at 9 every night though (yay!) so I do get early nights.

Scan at 2.30. I'm so so nervous. Had a really bad nights sleep, just want to know everything's ok Confused

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 07:38

Good lord, mine is the same! He sets about 20 different alarms but just sleeps through every one! Seriously, I set one alarm, and I get up when it goes off. Is that so difficult?!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 07:39

And he doesn't turn them off at the sodding weekend.

Ladylel · 17/07/2014 08:11

Before I was pregnant I used to get cranky about DH alarm on his phone. He always without fail wears ear plugs which are so wedged in they never fall out (unlike mine always do) and to top it all off I Have no hearing in my right ear as it is and Its still me that could still hear his goddamn alarm, which wakes me up and in turn I wake him up. Now unless he needs to be somewhere early he just sits back and let's me set my 2 or 3 alarms (hehe) usually 10 minutes apart :) it's not so bad when it's your own.

Bit of tmi. But we bumped uglies last night first time in weeks and I'm the one whose been 'gagging' for it even tho I'm not feeling my utmost sexiest, felt a bit awkward and not exactly comfortable but the result was intense. got myself all concerned about eye poking and squashing at one point but got over that :) did have a moment where I thought crap what if I bleed but it was all ok! Phew! Random story for you. Not exactly 50 shades haha

LotsaTuddles · 17/07/2014 08:42

Jealous of all the scans. I still haven't got my date.

I would throw DH's alarm out the window but he's got an actual alarm clock so it wouldn't really bother him.

I've got dentist soon. I'm so scared I hate the dentist

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 09:20

I keep meaning to go to the dentist now that it's free (I'm in England) but... dentist. Meh.

LotsaTuddles · 17/07/2014 10:07

I know, I was like that. But my teeth are really sore. I should have gone when I was pg with ds because I broke a tooth but never got round to it.

Yeah I'm in England too, technically mines still free from ds but I've got my new card now with married on it Grin

DrewsWife · 17/07/2014 12:06

Oh I find myself full of rage too. Hormones rock eh!

My consultant appointment went better than planned. She was still trying to sell section but my foot is firmly down. So it's now off the table. Phew!! Midwife gave me a wee smile. Glad I stood my ground. ;).

Hubby is working until 7 tonight. I hate his 24 hour shifts with a passion.

My rage today is the roadworks outside my house. I'm blocked from my usual route to and from work. The lorries were out digging up Tarmac at 7am. I finished work at midnight fell asleep at. 2am. Grrrrrrrrr

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 12:21

Argh Drews they've been demolishing a building next door at work since January and work will continue until SPRING 2015 Shock I'm sure my hearing will be permanently damaged Hmm

DrewsWife · 17/07/2014 12:35

Peace. If it were me it would be them damaged. I had to stop myself going out and dragging them out of the digger.

Feeeeeeling the fury lol

Think I will go to my craft space and take my temper out on my inkpads.

Ladylel · 17/07/2014 15:14

Question: Bracton Hicks. Anyone getting these? Apparently more common from 2nd trimester but every once In a while, maybe every other day my stomach goes incredibly tight like someone is stretching me. Slightly uncomfortable but never last long and doesn't hurt just off sensation.

DrewsWife · 17/07/2014 15:44

Not had braxton hicks. No. Had tighter tummy hours but no discomfort or feeling associated with it x

LisaC2611 · 17/07/2014 16:26

I've just made an appt to see a dr to
Or row morning. Been stood doing the ironing for an hour and my left leg has gone really numb. I had this the other day when I was stood talking to someone at work. It's very strange. Suspect the baby is sitting on a nerve but want to get it checked out.

Anyone else had this?

Am also hoping they may be able to listen to babies heartbeat as well if I tell them in anxious about the pink discharge I've had. If not, scan next Tuesday do will see baby then.

Somersetgirl1990 · 17/07/2014 16:57

Had our scan and everything's fine Grin so so relieved.

And...... WERE HAVING A BOY! I can't believe it Smile

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 17:24

Wow, is everyone who has found out having boys??

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 17:27

That reminds me... A customer came into the shop and bought lots of baby clothes. I commented that one of them was cute and she went off on one about how selfish and rude her nephew's girlfriend is because she's not finding out the sex of her expected baby. She said it was very inconsiderate because how was she expected to buy clothes when she doesn't know the sex?

I was a bit Shock but mostly Hmm

Ladylel · 17/07/2014 17:51

She can still buy clothes just not gender specific ones. Silly woman.

I was thinking the same thing. Definately a sausage dominated thread! I know I'm having boys but c'mon girls!!!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/07/2014 18:09

And I doubt anyone actually asked her to buy clothes in the first place :D

littlepickly · 17/07/2014 18:39

I'm having a girl Smile my second one!

DH was hoping for a boy but has been very good about coming to terms with his female dominated future Grin

ImBrian · 17/07/2014 18:45

Ladylel I'm having Braxton hicks, prob 3/4 times a day. Mine are slightly uncomfortable as well, I didn't have any with my first but have with all the rest.

CatFaceCrayola · 17/07/2014 19:26

I'm afraid to admit that in our house it's my alarm that goes off every 10 minutes. I'm just so terrible at dragging myself out of bed. Especially now that I'm sleeping so badly.

I've been getting some weird stretchy crampy feelings in my stomach. Are they Branston Hicks? Pretty uncomfortable whatever they are.

had a right strop at a child today who ran full speed round a corner and bounced of my belly. Think my initial rage terrified the poor kid (I did then go on to calmly and rationally explain why I'd been so cross!) Oops.

Got scan tomorrow afternoon. Very excited but a bit nervous?

Wonder if I'll be able to up the numbers for Team Girl? :)

19+4

SassehMonsta · 17/07/2014 23:02

Having a hormonal and grumpy day. Resorted to the AIBU forum as DH is being a twat. Off to bed with a headache and a sore back. Grr.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/07/2014 07:32

Hoooooly fuck, did anyone else get CRAZY INSANE thunder and lightning last night? It woke me up at about 1am and was right over my house, and because I was half asleep I was shaking and jumping out of my skin every time it went off. I feel like I had a taste of what it must be like living in a war zone :( :( :(

oohdaddypig · 18/07/2014 07:37

Oh sasseh you resorted to AIBU? Must be bad.... Did you get any support

Braxton hicks chat.... I always get loads of these. Tis usual for me and later on can be really painful. Mine are definitely exacerbated by dehydration so watch that...

Really shaken by this airliner going down. Can't stop thinking about the babies and children :(
