Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SassiLils · 14/09/2006 14:30

annie, I'll be at leicester Royal Infirmary and although I haven't seen it myself I understand their birthing pool is pretty modern.

SassiLils · 14/09/2006 14:53

Diva, why did they have to induce you? I thought you had to be about 42 weeks to be induced??

Kitty, I keep having images of you in birthing pool in your conservatory, I hope you have blinds

fatfox · 14/09/2006 14:54

Wow, a lot to catch up on. Kittywits, I have an image of you floating like a fat maggot in your birthing pool - in your conservatory!

DollyP - congrats on your great scan result

Lunar you are very welcome - specially as you are over 40 like me

Congrats on your great scan too; makes it all seem real doesn't it? I had a MC last year and have been a nervous wreck this time round. Have DS (6) and DD (3).

I still can't beleive I've managed to get to nearly 16 weeks, after what happened last year

Baby woke me at 2am, kicking about 1'5 inches below my belly button. I lay in bed for an hour, just DYING for a cornish pastie when I woke in the morning, I had to cook a cornish pastie for breakfast.

Last night I dreamt I was having sex with our priest! My colleague at work said it is symbolic and means I want to ingratiate myself with "Him up there" so I can get DS into the London Oratory when he's 11!

It would be worth it though, wouldn't it girls?

fatfox · 14/09/2006 14:56

Ooops

15+4 and MS has returned this week

SassiLils · 14/09/2006 15:58

poor you fatfox, are you sure it's not the Pasties making you ill??

I keep craving vegetables?? not eaten alot of them though..

divastrop · 14/09/2006 17:19

sassi,i had pre eclampsia with ds1 then with dd1,ds2 and dd2 my blood pressure shot up from about 34 weeks so i had to be induced at 38 weeks before i got seriously ill.i was terrified of seeing my consultant this time i thought she was going to shout at me for getting pg again.

ive been feeling sick the past few mornings.when my ms was really bad it was more in the afternoon or just b4 i went to bed.i keep craving fried mushrooms at the moment.

has anyone else had a problem with bleeding gums?mine have been awful this pg,they just start bleeding randomly during the day.my teeth are fine and my gums were perfectly healthy b4 this pg!

kittywits · 14/09/2006 17:37

The thought flashed through my mind. Yes I have blinds. Floating maggot is also pretty accurate too

cazboldy · 14/09/2006 17:50

Hi all, it has been so long since I last came on here! [shock} I still haven't got a scan date, so am still no nearer to knowing when I am due. Have been feeling truly awful and have been falling asleep at the drop of a hat (hence why I haven't been on here) hope you are all doing well ( am feeling to lazy to read all the posts) anyway, I will try not to leave it so long and will hopefully have something definite to report datewise soon.

fatfox · 14/09/2006 18:44

Diva - is that why your mum was so mean when you told her you are PG again? (was it you? apologies if it was someone else, I'm too lazy to check)

Floating fat maggot - been in any fights recently?

Cazboldy - do you remember whan your LMP was?

15+4

Piffle · 14/09/2006 18:47

hiya Cazboldy
one could assume that as you're feeling so grotty that you're under 14 ish weeks maybe?
Although I know several are still feeling dead ropey after that
sorry cannot resist
I'm NOT one of them - I ate a whole load of Quality Street in bed this afternoon reading a cracking novel - luxury!
I am so thrilled that it seems to be so much easier than last time.
Am too scared to read a gender implication into it, but lets just say if it's a girl I'll be in

pennygaff · 14/09/2006 18:51

divastrop, My gums bleed randomly too, Its quite alarming because I often get the taste of blood in my mouth and I think I am having a internal organ rupture or something.
My dentist told me to floss, and it was the pregnancy causing it, she also suggested I should go to the dental hygienst, but I hate the way they jab at your gums with a sharp needle.
On a different note has anyone elses hair suddenly started sprouting out everywhere? and I mean mostly down stairs, gong to be a bit embarassed at the scan but don't want to bleach or shave it will look obvious, help I am a circus freak!

pennygaff · 14/09/2006 18:53

cazboldy sympathies I still feel like doggy doo, sleep in the afternoons and sick everyday still too.

Fatfox, I have been roaming the threads looking for trouble but it's rather quite at the moment and I have been being nice and helpful instead

fatfox · 14/09/2006 19:07

Kitty - I've just kicked off on "In the news; children poisoned by modern life" if you're in the mood

Penny/Diva - I have no bleedin' gums, but have developed toothache in a previously healthy mouth

Piffle · 14/09/2006 19:10

yes penny I have noticed the hair and nails phenomenon.
I used to be able to tweeze the odd hair once every week or so
Now I need a lawnmower

fatfox · 14/09/2006 19:19

I've got very hairy too. 'Specially "down there" - is so bushy I though I spotted a tribe setting up camp there this morning

divastrop · 14/09/2006 19:21

lol hair growth 'down there'-i wouldnt know about that i,er,shave evry daybut i have loads of curly hair appearing around my hairline,it looks like ive got sideburns.

fatfox-yes it was me whos mum was nasty but it wasnt cos of concern over blood pressure,it was the fact that there will be more living proof that ive had sex outside of marriage and with more than one man(not at a time!!!)

i was trying to talk to ds+dd's school secretary this morning but i couldnt open my mouth as i had blood dripping from my tooth and looked like a vampire.

divastrop · 14/09/2006 19:23

why do i keep spelling 'every' wrong?i never mis-spell when i write with a pen!

fatfox · 14/09/2006 19:23

Diva - oh you poor thing Is your Mum a vampire too?

pennygaff · 14/09/2006 19:27

Glad hair thing seems to be universal, Dp keeps asking me to bleach it but there is so much from my belly button down (linea whatsit) I'd look like a crazy woman.

Piffle · 14/09/2006 19:44

the hair I mean is one my chin LOL
Dare not look further down, not that I can see much with this new belly protuding anyway

pennygaff · 14/09/2006 19:53

I've got that too, and sideburns and sure my head hair is getting thicker, even got new hair growing along my hairline on back of neck. Soon I will just be eyes and a mouth.

Piffle · 14/09/2006 19:56

uh huh
makes you laugh when you see women who have this mythical romance about pregnancy.
When you add together puking, excess hair, stretchmarks, piles, excess saliva, complexion mayhem and leaking breasts, it all seems a little less fabulous

kittywits · 14/09/2006 20:32

I'm coming over fatfox ( rubs hands together gleefully!)

divastrop · 14/09/2006 20:38

fatfox-poor thing cos of hair, mother or blood?or were u being sarcastic??!
