trace2 · 06/09/2006 20:58

dolly p, thank you but ill let pink have it she saw it first, again thank you

anniediv · 06/09/2006 21:02

Kittywits, I agree with you, I wouldn't dream of bypassing a parent especially if they were on the scene. By the way, I am due 23rd March can someone tell me how many weeks pregnant I am please??!!! (This is no 4, I get v bad MS and have had HG twice, and don't want to go for a dating scan yet in case they tell me I'm less far on than I think, IYSWIM) [i sound deranged emoticon]

novadandypowder · 06/09/2006 21:06

Well I'm due 28th and am 11wks today, so my guess would be 11+5?

Forgot to ask - Fatfox, where in west London are you? I'm Ladbroke Grove. FWIW, I went to the xmas meet last year (think it was about 4wks after I'd had dd) didn't 'know' anyone, and had a blast. Would seriously consider going this year if a few of us Marchies are going. Haven't checked out the thread about it though

morocco · 06/09/2006 21:11

hi trace and pinkranger - good to hear from you - hope you are back on the next antenatal thread to appear

mad mother in playground sounds a bit overbearing - pity her poor son!
I'm hungry! just thought I'd share that. I've started on the nighttime munchies now. I am going to be huge by the time 40 weeks comes round.

edd 13/3/07 so around 13 wks??

divastrop · 06/09/2006 21:37

morocco,ur due the day b4 me,according to theblonde ur 13+1 which makes me 13 wks.at last,i know 4 sure!?
i had a 'do' in the playground last yr when pg with dd2(and v hormonal)with a mother who was well known for sticking her nose in and telling other ppls kids off etc.she had butted in when i was dealing with ds1 being a pain in the arse(i was telling him off)and i just let rip at her,15 weeks of pregnancy hormones came flying from my gob in a string of obscenities then i walked off.
3 days later i heard she'd been sectioned and was in a psychiatric hospital after being found standing on sum1's front wall preaching at teenagers in the street....

i also seem to have turned into a bottomless pit when it comes to food today,i just dont feel full whatever i eat.

onilly · 06/09/2006 22:09

Boo and Kitty - I cant seem to find the fat thread you were talking about, can you say where, would be interested to take a look. I have same concerns - so far have'nt put hardly any weight on, but to be honest not particularly skinny minny to start with, so there is plenty to live off ..... I guess the weight comes on differently for all of us, its just getting used to the idea of it piling on, and hopefully its baby, boobs and all the other good things.

I am worried though - so far my appetite has all but gone, I am literally off food. Even DH is concerned. I usually LOVE my food... oh well.... at this moment in time I would LOVE a craving...

kittywits · 06/09/2006 22:21

Try this link onilly, it's gone bit quiet now though here

kittywits · 06/09/2006 22:23

sorry, that was the thin thread!!!!
try this

fatfox · 07/09/2006 07:07

Hi everyone - quick visit before monsters awake

Onilly - make the most of being off food my dear, I wish I was

Morocco - totally agree about the putting the weeks at the bottom of each post. I had a really embarassing incident on another thread when I asked how someone's DS's first day at nursery was; only to be told I had asked completely the wrong person . Putting he dates helps me "place " people and remember who is who. Terribly sad about the woman being flogged. I saw a programme about women being stoned in Iran and it still haunts me Many of my friends are Iranian and they've had to leave.

Nova - we live in Kew, which is not too far from you - I work in Ealing. Do you ever come down this neck of the woods? I live mainly in Kew Gardens when I get days off work

Pinkranger/Trace - HI and nice to see you. Good to hear you are both well (sorry, makes you sound like a couple doesn't it )

Kitty/Boo - When I was PG with DS, I went from size 10 to 16 and have never lost it - worse thing is I feel too tired and busy to even do anything about it

HI to everyone else - feel a lot better today thanks

Repeat: "today is going to be a good day "

14+5

Rosylily · 07/09/2006 09:28

Is anyone getting braxton hix yet? I could swear i am. i tend to get LOADS in later pregnancy. 13 wks 5

pennygaff · 07/09/2006 09:38

12wks today hooray still sick as ever though

DollyP · 07/09/2006 09:49

Hello ladies

Hope you are all going to have a good day. I had a good morning but a pants evening yesterday. Bucket next to the bed alas. Oh dear.

Can't wait for the appetite to return and the sick feeling to go. Onilly, I am usually a total oinker with food but can't eat anything really ATM (not saying you are an oinker too- just that I love food and eat a LOT!) I was just the same last time but more than made up for it once the sickness passed. I used to love going to Pret for lunch and buying a 3 or een 4 course lunch to eat at my desk . Put on 4 1/2 stone, but most of it had gone by about 4 months post DD. I am not a skinny bean at all BTW - usually about a 14 on top as have massive norks and a bit smaller on the bottom - but BF knocked a lot off and I did weight watchers too. Meetings very funny ("dust, anyone?") but the programme really works and if you BF you can eat LOADS.

Had a quick look at the fat thread - it makes me very cross that people think it really is as simple as eat less, exercise more. Think the human mind is a little more sophisticated than that and people do eat for very different and complex reasons.

Pinkranger, I'll email you now and you can send me your address for the preseed. Would you like the ISIS scope as well?

Today is going to be a good day . Am finding the support on here really helpful - thanks girls.

DollyP · 07/09/2006 09:49

Doh, sorry everyone. Am "arse end of March" so 11w and 4 days today

DollyP · 07/09/2006 09:55

Pinkranger, I've sent the email now so do let me know if it doesn't arrive .

kittywits · 07/09/2006 10:51

No Braxton hicks yet, will get loads later. No more sickness, didn't have much but more than with the others. Heartburn is strtating. Now that's something that I really suffer from. By the end I'm on 2 bottles of gaviscon advance per week.

12+1

anniediv · 07/09/2006 10:56

Dh been up all night looking after vomitting dd2. I could hear it all in glorious surround sound so today am feeling even more than usual. That is meant to be green and sick, not envy BTW!! Roll on March when I will feel better!!

11 ish weeks

Rosylily · 07/09/2006 11:03

oh yeah i get heartburn BAD but only when pregnant thank goodness. my gaviscon is ready and waiting. i didn't take anything last time cuz didn't realise you can. I just put up with it! apparently it means your baby has loads of hair! hee hee.

not getting good sleep really is awfull. I am not sleeping well this week for one reason and another and it means i'm too weak to clean the house and just have to sit on mumsnet all day!

morocco · 07/09/2006 11:10

morning
sorry to hear some of us are still sick, hope you feel better soon.
also sorry to hear you have moved form sick to heartburn, kittywits, that's not fair!
I'm glad someone else is gettting braxton hicks already, my midwife is very snotty about it and claims it must be digestive trouble (!) but they feel like braxtons to me, really really low down and right the way across. I've been geting them on and off for ages and they're still not going away so i am going to call them braxton hicks (constipation doesn't have the same ring does it?? and anyway, I'm not). I have a highly sensitive womb

madhide · 07/09/2006 11:47

Heh all been thinking has Davina had her baby yet? Anyone know did she get her boy?

Piffle · 07/09/2006 11:48

white ha ha
it goes yellow after is gets vomited on

Booboobedoo · 07/09/2006 11:53

Morning (just).

Had a really good-health day yesterday. Managed to go to Primark (braving the wilds of Peckham) and do a bit of housework, plus I walked the dog. That's the most I've done since I conceived. Simple pleasures, eh.

Threw my dinner up, but you can't have everything.

I know what you mean about craving cravings onilly. I'm used to comforting myself with food, and having that taken away was rotten. I sort of intellectually craved milky lattes and chocolate cake, but the thought of actually eating anything like that was gross.

Had a bramleys apple pie for breakfast this morning, though, so things are on the up
