broodysnoopstie · 28/12/2014 22:15

Thats true. I bought a nightie for the hospital yesterday. That was scary. When will you know what is happening?

Vickyvix2 · 30/12/2014 06:33

Hope you all had a great Christmas!!

One, did you decide to tell your family? Hope they were over the moon and spoilt you lots.

Broody/ Wood hope you both had a lovely relaxing christmas with your feet up.

Mini V had a great time, she loved the wrapping paper and everyone made a fuss of her.

Broody, good luck for this week, I'm so excited about hearing news. Your DP is bound to panic right up until Mini Snooptsie is here, and probably after too :) I think they just worry and they don't get half as much information as we do so I think they feel a bit lost and overwhelmed sometimes.

Hope you all have a fantastic new year :)

broodysnoopstie · 31/12/2014 14:24

onelifeonechance · 03/01/2015 19:12

Broody!!!!! Grin OMG!!! Huge congratulations!!!!! What exciting news to come back to, I can't believe she's here, she was obviously super keen to see her mummy Smile Hope you and she (&your DH of course!) are all doing well, enjoy these special early moments xxx

Goodness, it's all too exciting!! Wood, you're next Wink Then me Smile

Sorry not been on ladies, Christmas whizzed past and then we've been at my in laws who live in the middle of nowhere so been cut off for a bit. All ok here, had my scan this week and all ok, they even moved me forward a few days which is always good! Baby is camera shy though, refused to turn around, but did us a lovely bottom wiggle to make us laugh Grin It was so lovely telling our families, tears all round, they were completely shocked and had no idea which made it even nicer, it's all we've talked about since everyone is so excited Smile Haven't told any friends yet as everyone's been away/busy for Christmas, but going yo start that ball rolling now too, making it all seem more real now!!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas? Vix did mini V enjoy her first one? Smile I bet it was so lovely Smile

Well, wishing you all a very happy New Year, what a year hey girls?! Enjoy! Grin xxx

onelifeonechance · 03/01/2015 19:14

Oh, and I nearly forgot to say, a huge congrats to our very own Woodwaj for making it on to the 'Discussions of the Day' board Wink MN royalty in our midst Grin

woodwaj · 03/01/2015 19:19

We have all had our ups and downs but we are getting there!! Im torn between being the laziest person that ever lived and the most scared person ever haha!!

Broody i hope day 1 with your baby has gone well im sure your totally smitten! I presume you will have to stay in for a little while? When you have a minute talk to me about ITCHING!! IT WONT STOP!!

Will you have a surprise onelife? I think we should make it 2 each. Everyone likes even numbers!!

Happy new year all!!

woodwaj · 03/01/2015 19:22

Haha onelife!! Thats hilarious i would have never noticed. I am so honoured. (Signed postcards available with a SAE)

onelifeonechance · 04/01/2015 12:42

Grin Woodwaj, queen of MN!

Definitely a surprise for me, both DH and I feel the same way which is good, place your bets now......Smile

woodwaj · 06/01/2015 09:19

I will go boy just to keep it even haha.

Sat in the docs for the 2nd day in a row itching wont stop covered in a rash now. Prob from scratching so much though. Blood tests today to rule out obstetric cholestatis (i think that's how its spelt!) Busy week now. Midwifes on thursday and antenatal and hospital tour this weekend!

Vickyvix2 · 07/01/2015 12:12

Oh my goodness Broody, huge huge congratulations to you on the arrival of your baby girl, that is absolutely fantastic news!! It's made me cry :) (still hormonal) how very exciting!!

I really hope everything went smoothly for you and that you and your DH are enjoying those precious first days with mini snooptsie, what an amazing New Years present :)

One, so pleased your scan went well and you had a great christmas sharing the news, it sounds like everyone is absolutely over the moon :)

Wood, not long to go now! Really hope the itching is not OS but glad you are getting checked out. How did the blood tests go?

We had a fab christmas thanks, was really lovely to see Mini V having a good time she loved seeing family and playing with the wrapping paper. She also learnt how to sit up on Christmas Eve which was awesome and a few days ago she mastered crawling!! So exciting to see her learning all these new things, I knew I loved her the minute I met her but it really does get stronger with every day. You guys have it all to come and it really is amazing :)

Sorry I haven't been able to send this sooner, we are abroad and I've only just found wifi.

Need to baby proof the house when we get back!

Happy New Year to you all, wishing you all a fabulous 2015.

Maybe you'll have a boy One, then it'll be two of each :)

onelifeonechance · 08/01/2015 06:55

Good morning Smile

How did it go at the Drs Wood? Are you still itching or has it stopped? Hope all ok and good luck with your midwife appt today.

Hey Vix! So glad you had a good Christmas and lovely to hear mini V enjoyed herself and all the wrapping paper Grin Presuming you're on hol if you're abroad so have fun!

Broody, know you've got your hands full at the min but you'll read this at some point when things have calmed so just so you know we're all thinking of you and your little one, enjoy her xx Smile

I'm in the feeling better but don't feel pregnant stage, keep forgetting for longish periods during the day then remember and feel v excited but a bit guilty! Although had a head down the toilet moment just now so that certainly reminded me!! Telling my boss today, eek! She's lovely and knows we've been trying so hoping she'll just be really pleased

Hope everyone's days go well, almost the weekend! Although come to think of it this is only good for me now as you lucky lot are all on mat leave Envy Grin

onelifeonechance · 08/01/2015 06:56

PS loving the guesses, can't wait to see who is right!

woodwaj · 08/01/2015 09:29

I feel like I am on sick leave not mat leave still itchy i am only rash free on my face and boobs now!! I can phone today after 11 to see if bloods are back but my midwife appt is 11.15 so i will go there first and she might be able to get them anyway. My poor other half is being so good especially when i am sulking so much haha.

I hope your boss is chuffed!! Im sure she will be. Mine was on and off depending on how she felt it was a pain!! Let us know and I will check in later too!

woodwaj · 08/01/2015 13:13

So the midwife is guessing allergy and said it was ok to take piriton. I then phoned the docs and the receptionist said that my blood test notes say i need to make another appointment with the GP but didnt say anymore than that!

onelifeonechance · 09/01/2015 09:35

Hmm Wood, that's not really an answer for you is it, when are you able to see/speak to the GP? Hope it's soon. The rash sounds v annoying for you, glad it's not on your face though! Presuming you've thought about all this but you haven't recently changed your washing powder/shower gels etc.? Although then why aren't your boobs affected? Confused Fingers crossed you get an answer soon and the itching stops.

My boss was lovely, phew! Think she is a bit worried about what it means work wise but she was really, really pleased for me and was v kind, glad she knows now. Still getting round our friends with the news, close ones all know, I feel a fraud though, no bump at all!!!

woodwaj · 09/01/2015 11:47

I got an appointment this morning. Doc said bloods were slightly abnormal for liver and iron. He poked the liver area and because there was no pain he was happy. He gave me iron tablets and gave me a low dose steroid cream for the rash. Going to have some lunch then drug up!!

Antenatal classes this weekend for me. Going to scare some preggo ladies with my rash im sure!!

Im glad your boss was pleased but i think they are always a bit selfish with cover. She will have plenty of time to sort it though!

I noticed my bump really early but i only really got comments at work at about 28 weeks I'd say! Don't know what that was about!! I instagrammed mine every 4 weeks so i can look back at it!

Vickyvix2 · 11/01/2015 00:18

Ooh the rash sounds nasty Wood, hope the steroid cream and Piriton clear it up, and hope it stays away from your face! Hope the antenatal class goes well.

One, so pleased your boss was nice to you :) and glad you aren't suffering too bad with sickness. I suddenly looked pregnant at around 5 months from memory (think it was late Feb/early March). Of course I could see it clearly by then but it only became really obvious then. Like Wood, I took photos of my bump every week pretty much and put a montage thing together, it's pretty cool. I actually really miss my bump now

Broodie, hope you are enjoying some lovely newborn snuggles and managing to get some rest

We're home from holidays tomorrow :( back to the cold and wind and wet (I'm just a bit grumpy about it)
