New thread ladies. I should really leave it to someone who can link the old one. Can someone add the edd list and whatnot? Or maybe we should start again now edds are changing after scan.

I don't think you should just get over yourself. You don't seem like the self pitying type. Sounds like you're just having a tough time with sickness and are one of the unlucky ones it affects. You're growing a human being,it's no mean feat! Don't be too hard on yourself and take care.

tak1ngchances · 10/04/2014 18:00

Oh the hormones! Pebble you nearly made me cry because you were kind to me.
Have had a chocolate twist to make me feel better Grin

Loulou888 · 10/04/2014 18:34

You are not alone taking although I've had a decent 4 hours this afternoon I have been rading the cupboards and jut had 5 cream crackers with peanut butter as the nausea has returned. It's the best day feeling wise I've had for weeks so hope to see back of it soon. Everyone is different I must say I was around 18 weeks with dd before I enjoyed pregnancy and "glowed". Don't be hard on yourself.

Good luck robin deer

TroubleAndFyfe · 10/04/2014 19:39

Hi george, welcome! The Facebook group is hidden now so you need to PM kirstipops to join.
Exciting that there're so many scans tomorrow!

Bumpforme2014 · 10/04/2014 19:41

Thanks for advice on hunger, I just want it to stop for one night so I can have one night of good sleep.

Felt sick at work most of today, the only thing that stops it is carbs like Chips or potatoes so unhealthy but it does the trick.

Kirstipops · 10/04/2014 19:57

Aww tak1ng, my friend is who is nearly 15 weeks with her second dc is having a bad time of it like yourself, and she's tough as old boots so don't be calling yourself a wuss!
Great to hear about the scans today! Good luck for those tomorrow!
P.S. Hi George! I've messaged you :)

binkybunny · 10/04/2014 20:06

Hi all taking you are def more than okay to still wallow around I only stopped a week or two ago and am still having the odd off day. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and havent quite got the glow yet.

I'm going to give the hypnobirthing track ago that was posted on here. I also saw that our NHS hospital offer hypnobirthing classes so going to look into these.

Still having an on going discussion about time off for antenatal midwife appointments with work. Our policy just says they will give a reasonable amount of time off for antenatal appointments at the hospital Hmm

Me23 · 10/04/2014 20:19

Those feeling crap you are not alone www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/2050601-to-think-most-people-dont-feel-like-this-during-pregnancy?reverse=1
I've been feeling so weak and exhausted again today have no energy also really emotional.

cabster · 10/04/2014 20:55

I've come late to the party as well!

I'm expecting dc2 on 8th October, scan all fine, had really bad nausea and dizziness from 6 weeks which are starting to subside now thankfully but still having a 6pm puke every night just as dinner hits the table, lovely Grin

Would anyone like some cloudy lemonade? It's all I can drink at the moment! Not so nice coming back the other way though. pours

Kirstipops · 10/04/2014 20:56

I've been ragey more than weepy, I went to my hairdressers today to chance a quick fringe trim (quite a walk out of my way after work but I'd been putting it off for ages and I'm beginning to resemble an old English sheepdog) only to be turned down flat by the receptionist there and asked to try again tomorrow (gee, ta), I then trudged up a beast of a hill towards a bus stop, grinding my teeth in irrational over-irritation, feeling increasingly knackered, only to miss a bus by seconds. The next one, at full capacity, flew past me 15 mins later.(Ah, now the wind and rain have picked up, lovely) Eventually another arrived....about 6 lovely people who'd arrived there after me scuttled to board the bus in front of me (cueing more teeth-grindage), though bus driver stopped us all getting on as he had to first count the available seats, unsure there were enough for all of us, thankfully there were but oooft, I nearly flippin exploded!!!

Kirstipops · 10/04/2014 21:17

Hi cabster ! accepts lemonade

cottonwool4brains · 10/04/2014 22:00

Scan today, one wiggly little baby phew! Edd is now 15/10

mrsb87 · 10/04/2014 22:13

tak1ng I'm 16wks on Monday and still vomiting on a daily basis and still on ondansetron! Also waiting for the joys of 2nd trimester to start. Although I'm afraid for me I think I will be vomiting all the way through this pregnancy. Don't beat yourself up over it, I'm sure you will start to see an improvement soon! Chin up chick, you're growing a human being, It's going to be tough (wink)

mrsb87 · 10/04/2014 22:14

That was meant to be wink....soz!

mrsb87 · 10/04/2014 22:15

tak1ngchances · 10/04/2014 22:28

petitverdot · 10/04/2014 22:52

Hi everyone! Not been on for a while but all going well with me -had my scan about 4 weeks ago now and got a revised due date of 26th September, so probably shouldn't be here haha! Here is baby pv, who was very wriggly and awkward but eventually cooperated after 35 minutes (oops)

CellyD · 10/04/2014 23:06

Lovely to hear all the good scan news.

Tak1ng don't be hard on yourself, growing a bean is gruelling work. I'm 14+3 and still feeling pretty rough most days with varying combinations of dry wretching, vomiting, dizziness, heartburn and non stop pytalism - great look in public!

DP has been a star (I haven't cooked dinner for 8 weeks) and work has been really accommodating with my endless trips to the toilet to throw up. I feel like I'm letting everyone down. I just have to remember to take my metoclopramide and believe it's all going to get better and hopefully soon.

It will all be a distant memory by October.

MrsBadCrumble74 · 10/04/2014 23:10

Hi everyone! Haven't been on for a teeny bit so lovely to hear everyone's super scan news.
I'm sure I can feel our little bear having a wriggle - nearly 16 weeks so hopefully it's not just wind!
I had my first pregnancy nosebleed - ruined my Chinese fried rice Shock
My DH has already started singing the French rugby chant to my tummy - could be an interesting few months!!!
Very random message but that is how my brain is working at the moment lol

Kittylou1 · 10/04/2014 23:21

Well I'm still a nervous wreck at 15+2 even though we had a good 12 week scan. Try to focus on the positive I guess. Spotting is scary though so it's normal to feel worried. I'm sure your scan will be amazing and will definitely put your mind at rest for at least the rest of that day.

Lovely to hear more good scans are taking place. I guess we're moving on now to 16 week appts and then seeing pur babies again.

Sickness has now pretty much gone so feel quite amazing really. Been a bloody excellent week too. Cousin and her children down from Scotland and best friend had her first baby yesterday. Nothing better than newborn snuggles. I want to eat her a little bit, she smells so perfect!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Im the same feeling worried again! 13+6 today so will most likely worry until the midwife checks baby's heart beat at 16 week appointment!

I am yet to receive my physio letter for pgp so I called the surgery earlier and they said their system shows no record of a referral having ever been done!!! I am so upset that the midwife seems to have been so careless and negligent! You wait weeks and weeks for reassure and then it all gets cocked up anyway! I understand that they are busy but this is mine and my baby's life and wellbeing...I'd just like to know that I'm getting the proper care!

Ok rant over!

I saw the gp earlier this morning and asked about cures for the sour taste in my mouth and the terrible snoring...she said there arent any! Lol!. Its pregnancy...deal with it...
