Hey FedUp I have been lurking on the other thread and felt it could have been me writing your posts, same fears, irrational or not! I'm currently awaiting nt results, though googled measurements from scan and that was within range, and can see nasal bone in scan photo which is also meant to be a good sign. (Also avid googler)

I will be 14 weeks tomorrow according to scan, although I know that is impossible as I hadn't ovulated by the time they said I was pregnant, ho hum.. I think it just means it will be a big baby (thanks to craving quiches and cheese sandwiches for 6 weeks maybe!).

We have already told a few people, and will tell friends as we see them once the nt results come back ok (thinking positive!).

Anyone else still not had sex with their OH's since the BFP? I had to have a scan at 6 weeks as had an ectopic last year, so until I knew baby was in right place was terrified. Then was badly nauseous and exhausted from 6 weeks to a week or so ago when it started to ease up, then have had a cold sore, horrendous headaches, and now have done my back in so walking like a hunchback... I think DH thinks I am making it up or doing it on purpose as he is starting to get super grumpy

Giant bras arrived from M&S today. They are non-wired maternity bras and when I opened the package I thought no way are my boobs that big, I could fit my ass in there.
Well they fit. And they are extremely comfortable. They are these ones

They look really nice taking. I do love a tshirt bra :)

We have continued to dtd but a lot less frequently. Probably down to once a week now. I think dp is reluctant to over do things with my early spotting and then pgp pain but I'm actually more in the mood at the moment. He should probably make the most of it whilst he still can lol!

off to town today to try and find some trousers that fit!

Hi punky I had an ectopic too last yet and had early scan. You are not alone dh is getting alittle sad about the lack of dtd. But I just haven't felt well enough or up for it and far too tired once in bed! It will get better

Meh.. I'm finding it quite hard to enjoy a holiday while pregnant. It's hot, my skin is burning in minutes rather than tanning easily, boyfriend wants to be drunk and go out every night which I'm not interested in and resent him for doing. Yay...grrr..

16 weeks today, no clothes fit and I just look fat and red on the beach.

punky we tried a few times but DH is really worried about dtd and I'd had some spotting earlier which meant I was also a bit worried so we gave up as it wasnt much fun! I keep having really erotic dreams tho so I think now I'm a bit further on we're going to have to try again. I'm just so tired though!

And if boyfriend mentions one more time that I seem to have got fatter thighs and arse, I'll punch him.

meanwhile on the subject of sex, obviously he's in holiday shagging mood, yet stinking of booze and fags, so just about the least sexy person alive!

I'm torn between being really annoyed and not caring cos he needs a holiday too, and just because I can't do the normal things doesn't mean he shouldn't. This is his last chance etc.

Hey punky glad to hear all is well with you (even if a paranoid wreck like me!). Me too with my dates - I'm 14 + 1 now and could not have ovulated in time to hit those dates! Same happened with my ds though and the immaculate conception due date was spot on!! Ha ha.

We DtD for the first time this morning. I didn't enjoy it really but had been too scared in the first trimester and want to try before get too huge! Was relieved when no blood appeared and I didn't let him go too deep (sorry for tmi!)

goats I would try and let him do what he's doing - as you say, no future holiday will be the same for a while!! But ask him to clean his teeth before he comes near you Just think of other stuff like reading a good book, ice cream, facial or nails done if there is a spa near by (using the money you save on no booze!) or other chilling out stuff you really will have much less time to do when you have a child. I too went on a holiday when preg with ds and I did find it a bit weird not being like my 'normal' holiday / feeling fat and tired.

Fedup - yep, I'm biting my tongue. And the teeth cleaning is happening even if under sufferance! I've hada foot massage every day, and read 3 boojs, so iit's not all bad in any way.. I feel bad in a "whinge, my diamond shoes are pinching" type way, but still... not the same.

Just think - it's so much better to be having a baby than another same old same old holiday that you have done all these years up til now. That's how I think of it.

Haha! To be fair, if I wasn't pregnant I'd be on a trekking holiday with my mate in Costa Rica. Or I'd have left the boyfriend in Thailand to get pissed while I took myself to Cambodia. A beach holiday isn't my bag, but I knew I'd not be up for either of those two ootiins, not least for availability of medical stuff. I'm having a relaxing time, just not a particularly 'fun' time. Tomorrow I'm hiring a kayak and getting out of here.

Re Dtd have been at it as usual, have never been worried about sex in pregnancy it's normal.though can understand why people worry if they have bleeding or other pregnancy problems.

Ah the trekking holiday sounds amazing!! When I got upduffed with ds we were about to go to Argentina - imagine going there pregnant - ouch. All the red wine and rare steak you could ever dream of but couldn't blimmin eat it!! This preg we have to cancel a trip to Canada as I will be too far gone. Hoping BA will give us flight money back

Have fun on the kayak - just don't forget the factor 50

Thanks for the add Me . Just to clarify I don't have an issue with sex during pregnancy in general. With DS we were DTD as normal until about 6 months pregnant when both DH and I felt too weird doing it knowing DS was already head down.. so close.. Just couldn't do it! This time around though I have just felt so rotten since week 6. Glad to know I am not alone in this, though obviously also hope everyone feels better soon!

Also hi LouLou. Always good to hear of others having a normal pregnancy post ectopic. I was so scared it wouldn't happen for me.xxx

Morning! Came across some thing online last night about not wearing perfume and other scented creams or deodorants. I had no idea. I've not changed anything when being preg - have any of you?

But then I read something else but they says you couldn't pretty much use anything, even have soup from a can or touch anything that isn't real leather or a vinyl shower curtain. You might as well walk around in a protective body suit eating only organic produce and smelling of your own body sweat.

When I say I've npt changed anything - obviously I don't drink booze, (don't smoke anyway), cut down (almost completely out) caffeine and don't eat any of the illegal foods apart from a Parma ham slip up a good few weeks ago. But I haven't changed what I but on my face, hair or skin (which I didn't realise was so very terrible) or stopped eating / drinking things involving plastic containers or tins.
