New thread ladies. I should really leave it to someone who can link the old one. Can someone add the edd list and whatnot? Or maybe we should start again now edds are changing after scan.

Oh that is so sad about Peaches. Sad She was v young wasnt she?

Only getting temporary fillings until after baby is born as they wont x-ray me.

I too have felt little fluttery movements. If you think about it something the size of a lemon moving around inside is surely going to cause some ripples!

mum2kiss · 07/04/2014 18:42

Yes she was only 25...a babe herself!

Shocking...

and yes it would be very difficult not to feel something 7cm long doing back flips in your belly, even if you dont actually notice it!

FlipFantasia · 07/04/2014 18:45

Diamond you'll be fine with a sling & a buggy! It's what we did with DS (turned 2 the week before dd was born). We also got him a micro scooter and we inherited a balance bike - by the summer he was happily scooting or biking most places and is still a great walker. I carried dd exclusively for months and then switched her to buggy at 7/8 months, when DS was well out of it.

I also think travel systems are crazy expensive so just went with a sling for first 6 months with DS and a maclaren quest at 6 months. Just got a new one (due to a yellow taxi rolling over the old one in Manhattan recently) - love my trusty maclaren! We do have a beat up ancient 3 wheeler for the winter over here, need the bigger wheels for snow & ice! Bought when we moved over in 2012.

Sling wise, we had a close sling initially and then bought an ergo. Used the ergo with newborn insert for dd - still use it on her now (she's two - I still front or side carry her, you can also back carry). It's super easy to adjust between me and dh and comfy for both of us (dh loves to carry his kids - Especially when they're tiny snooze machines, so cuddly!).

Also a piece of kit I loved second time around was a tummy tub. Made bath time so peaceful as dd loved it and DS could help bathe his sister. I gave it away when we moved from London so will treat ourselves to a new one when this bubs arrives!

So sad about peaches geldof. So young. And her boys are only one and about to turn I've HmmHmm

Hello everyone!

Just want to check if everyone's morning sickness & nausea has either reduced or gone for good?

Am at 13+5 and this time around am not feeling much better though with DD1 I was much better by this time.

Is it too early yet?

LondonJen · 07/04/2014 19:35

Lovely scan news!

Agree, so sad about Peaches, her poor boys Sad

Swimming I am 13+5 too and been exhausted today. My nausea has got much better slowly, since week 10 and only really kicks in if I am hungry (but not like it used to, not having to eat beige food every 1.5hrs to stave that off anymore thank god!) However, the tiredness just never seems to let up.

CareBearWithFangs · 07/04/2014 19:46

Awful news about peaches. I have actually cried thinking about her boys. I'm blaming pregnancy hormones.

I'm 12 weeks and still not let up with morning sickness at all. I officially hate being pregnant.

SwimmingMom · 07/04/2014 19:48

Thanks London. Am able to have longer gaps between meals too. But there is this terrible aftertaste that lingers in my mouth making me want to retch. Nothing eases it. Can't wait for it to be gone!

binkybunny · 07/04/2014 19:51

I'm 13 + 3 and definitely getting better. Having more good than bad days and also managing to eat more like a normal human being than constantly shovelling food into my mouth. I am off most meat though and having to have really tasty food. Bland food makes me feel eurgh!

BingoBango85 · 07/04/2014 20:32

Having cramps today in my lower tummy. Not painful just twingey and annoying. Think I need to just go to bed! Soo tired today. Anyone else having tummy pains?

ExcitedCJ · 07/04/2014 21:00

Bingo I have had the same when I am very tired, off to bed with you!

2 minute klaxon OBEM :)

Loulou888 · 07/04/2014 21:06

Swimming I'm 12 weeks still feeling poorly and sick. Like you I get that horrible taste too. Polo mints do help for a little while. Fed up now! Fed up with moaning about being ill!

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 07/04/2014 21:37

Bingo I've had cramps the whole time (they seem to move all across my belly) and had my scan today and all was fine.

Not exactly got cramps but if I stand up too quick of turn over in bed I sometimes get a sharp pain on one side. I think looking at google mine is ligaments stretching and pulling when moving suddenly.

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 07/04/2014 21:54

I'm finding this hard to keep up with! lol

Hope all are well and I'm sorry for the people no longer with us. Sad

Scan measured 13+4 today (we thought it was 12+4 based on early scan - no LMP due to MC). Baby is 75mm crown to rump and nuchal fold was 1.7, but it was being a wriggley little monkey so was difficult to measure. Trying to stand on it's head and flipping over in every direction! Grin

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 07/04/2014 22:00

Oh, and can someone let me in on the FB group?

sorry for all the posts, baby brain

ExcitedCJ · 07/04/2014 22:16

Just measured (.)(.) gone from 32DD to 34E in the last 12 weeks! Time to get some new bras me thinks!

Kirstipops · 07/04/2014 22:43

annoyed by Alfie bear - just sent you a message :)
I just measured myself too tonight CJ! 34B now 34E :O Also measured bump and it's the same measurement around as my b(.)(.)bs haha!

TroubleAndFyfe · 07/04/2014 22:45

That's great news annoyed! Grin Your new EDD is my birthday. Good date. You need to PM kirstipops for Facebook details I think.

How are you measuring boobs yourselves? I am intrigued to see what I am as only b/c cup before.

binkybunny · 08/04/2014 07:16

Bump have a look on the La Senza website it tells you where yo measure and how to convert. I did that then got measured at Mothercare and it was accurate... Unfortunately I really am that big Shock

MrsF2510 · 08/04/2014 07:40

Finally scan later today!!! About time as am 14 weeks now! Have a teeny bump which definitely is not noticeable in most clothes - as tbh it could just be a big meal as my stomach always was quite flat. However, had a nice works do last Friday and to my dismay and surprise, I couldn't do lots of dresses up - because they wouldn't fit around my boobs! :( I hadn't even noticed as I was focusing mainly on my (relatively non existent) bump!!! As soon as scan is confirmed ok, I am going to do some shopping!

Kirstipops · 08/04/2014 07:55

Wheee good luck with your scan today Mrsf! There are some "Bra intervention" threads on here too where 2 or 3 folk can recommend bra sizes based on measurements you give them, one of them is called "Sorrel". I measured myself and worked out myself what I'd be and then read on one of the threads where she'd advised the same size to someone with same measurements as me.

Grannyapple · 08/04/2014 08:18

Good luck mrsF...I've got mine this morning along with Nuchal bloods. Defo going shopping after the scan...& also need to figure out how to tell work after it...
