New thread ladies. I should really leave it to someone who can link the old one. Can someone add the edd list and whatnot? Or maybe we should start again now edds are changing after scan.

Oh good!

It doesn't help my general anxiety levels that I've had some sort of cramp pain THE WHOLE TIME. So combined, the two things are a right panic causer.

I get that discharge too, think it's quite common though. Might start getting some panty liners!

SwimmingMom · 31/03/2014 17:21

Yes I get it too. Apparently small amounts are normal but too much or smelly ones are to be investigated for infection.

Appears to be increasing a bit as time progresses...

ldt87 · 31/03/2014 17:25

Hi all, I had 2 successful scans today which dated me at 12+4 and due on the 9th of October, next time a list is posted could someone change my due date please?

I've also had lots of discharge which worries me sometimes, one of the many glamorous parts of pregnancy I think!

How is everyone? Xx

mum2kiss · 31/03/2014 17:43

Yeah im with you on the discharge...mine tends to be milky and occasionally has me on crotch watch again!

So nice to hear all the good scan news! Soooo nervous about mine tomorrow. Praying that everything is ok! Everyone else has been fine at their 12 week scan so far havent they???

CareBearWithFangs · 31/03/2014 17:50

I've been meaning to ask about the discharge too! It's horrible isn't it? I'm going to get some panty liners I think.

Had to call in sick to work today. Feel awful. I've basically slept all day and I still feel tired.

Congratulations on more good scan news!

Mrsthedog · 31/03/2014 18:53

I am so pleased that we are talking about discharge! Didn't quite know how to broach the subject!

Mine is clear and feels a bit like I've peed myself. Must be acidic or alkali-y because it makes me itchy after a day in the same pants. (ewwww)

Fairy hammocks are definitely needed :)

(too much information?)

Binglesplodge · 31/03/2014 19:37

Gulp. I just read the notes from the scan and the nuchal measurement is 3.3mm. The lady doing the scan said that everything was looking fine but now I'm really worried! Some places say that under 3.5 is normal, some places have people posting that their 3.3mm result was abnormal. Help help help! Anyone here seen a measurement like mine?

Kirstipops · 31/03/2014 19:37

Good luck for tomorrow mum2kiss!
I got my results back today from screening tests from last Monday (NHS) and I'm low risk, pleased with that. I've felt so tired today, enchiladas for dinner (that'll nail my spicy, stodgy, cheesy and tangy notions in one go!) then off to bed for me.
"Fairy hammocks" Ahahahaha!!!

Kirstipops · 31/03/2014 19:41

Bingle if scan lady said it looked fine I'd go with that, my scan lady didn't write my measurement down, she just ticked the box! Which super confused me and had me wondering if a tick was code for something untoward. I'm sure being oreggo is making me barmy.

Kirstipops · 31/03/2014 19:45

(Preggo even!) We both posted about screening at the same time there Bingle, the timing of my post looked really insensitive, I'm sorry!

Binglesplodge · 31/03/2014 19:46

No worries, Kirsti! I don't even know how worried I'm meant to be: I know the measurement on its own doesn't tell you anything so I'm trying not to panic. Not necessarily succeeding!

pebble82 · 31/03/2014 20:00

I

pebble82 · 31/03/2014 20:04

Oh good, my phone is playing up again!

Glad someone brought up discharge. I was speeding to get home from work as performing knicker check at the traffic lights wouldn't have been too ladylike!

I got carried away shifting heavy things at home this evening as got fed up of DP promising to do it. Are we still ok to lift things? Or is it just the bigger you get when you shouldn't?

mum2kiss · 31/03/2014 20:13

Im not sure about lifting pebble I would think you should give it a miss in future...dont want to strain yourself!

Not sure about the nuchal measurements either bingle so I'm basically no help!

So I just removed someone from the facebook group called mcquistion ebony. He profile pic looked a bit pornographic and I felt sure it wouldnt be any of us! But if im wrong please re add yourself!

Bumpforme2014 · 31/03/2014 20:15

Hello everyone, I am back from my trip away! I felt much better whilst away, it was very relaxing and just what I needed.

I've come back with a little bump as well and actually feel like I'm starting to show now, so nice to read all scan news :) feel so behind now since mine isn't until Thursday. Trying to stay positive but starting to get nervous again wish it was tomorrow!

I'm still pretty tired and cannot wait for energy to return, on subject of discharge I have loads both clear and snot like which I think is disgusting and makes me want to retch when I see it.

Pebble I would like to know the answer myself to your question as I was asked few times at weekend if i should be carrying things and I just did because it feels okay but not sure what rules are.

ldt87 · 31/03/2014 20:17

Oh is that the one I added? Sorry if so, it's the only one I've accepted lol. Is that what the message was for? Xx

mum2kiss · 31/03/2014 20:30

Yes that was what the message was about! I realise we have no surefire way of knowing who is who when they send a request to the fb page!

Kirstipops · 31/03/2014 20:39

What I've heard/read in terms of lifting is just listen to your body really and don't push yourself, you'll know if you pick up something that's heavier than you're comfortable with. Me lugging a guitar in its heavy case to a gig in Glasgow last month wasn't my brightest idea, for example doh :-/

Kirstipops · 31/03/2014 21:01

I've made the group secret now, if anyone wants to join just drop me a message on here and I'll sort it. We'll be having no random dirties in the group (Just dirties we know ;) )

STIGZ · 31/03/2014 21:06

Aww thats nice we are scan buddies diamond!!

Im hoping & praying everything is ok? Are you taking your dc with you?

STIGZ · 31/03/2014 21:12

Oh no! OBEM i cant handle when the baby is ill! ..,. My mind goes into overdrive!!

pebble82 · 31/03/2014 22:01

Yep, feeling the same about OBEM. Making me totally terrified this evening. But I can't stop watching!

Also reeling after a conversation with my tactless colleague earlier (the one who has previously told me I'll start showing early as my stomach muscles are probably on the flabby side!?). Today's wonderful comment was her reaction to me saying the baby will have DPs surname which was "oh, well you do know unmarried couples often break up after a baby as it's very stressful, maybe you'd be better giving it your name, you know just in case. Not that I want to be all doom and gloom"

I don't know how I didn't punch her!

Anyone else not married having the same issue with justifying the surname? I'm starting to doubt myself now but really wanted the baby to have his name as one day we will get married. And even if we don't the baby will always be his, no changing that!
