So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

Hello , hello - congratulations everybody ! it feels slightly surreal to be joining you but - I can hardly believe I'm pregnant again.

Anyway marking my place

Cheers!

Chipandspuds · 27/03/2014 21:45

It does feel so early but I just feel so excited! And a little bit bloated Wink DH & I know, I told my Mum and I also mentioned it to my pilates teacher as I want to carry on with that. I'll mention it to my aerobics instructor next week too as again, I'm sticking with that for as long as possible.

I was fairly active when pregnant with DS, but this time I want to be a bit more pro-active and keep up my exercise classes and I'm going to start swimming as well. Swimming was wonderful when I was pregnant with DS as it literally took the weight off!

I'm sure my team leader at work knows, she knew last time too, but she won't ask or hint until I 'officially' tell her!

Congratulations everyone :)

littlepickly · 27/03/2014 22:29

Rockstars - is your 7 week scan expensive if you don't mind me asking? And is it an internal one?

I know it can differ by area but I'm just wondering for peace of mind as I had mmc and didn't find out till 12 week scan last time. Sorry don't want to dwell on that too much as we all need to be positive for our little seedlings Smile

ImBrian · 27/03/2014 22:41

Rockstars I have all girls can't imagine having a boy though! I love having a big family, never intended on having more then one but they kind of snuck up on me!

The private dating/viability scans round here seem to be about £100. My friend recently had one with baby bond at 7 weeks and said it was worth it. I'm planning on booking one for 8ish weeks for reassurance.

I'm also looking into the harmony test but very few places seem to do it.

OP posts:
mopsytop · 27/03/2014 22:59

What is the harmony test Brian?

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 02:12

Im getting an early scan for £80

ImBrian · 28/03/2014 04:53

It's a blood test that gets sent of to USA which somehow can look at babies blood and check for chromosomal issues (also tells you sex). You have it at 11ish weeks, the feral medical centre in London do it for £400 and they're the cheapest but most places seem to be in London.

I'm on the sofa with my youngest dd, bloody twat of a boyfriend thinks shouting at her when she's upset will magically make her go back to sleep!

Hmm Anyone else suffering morning sickness? I seem to be establishing a pattern this week and its only nausea which comes in waves but thought I was going to wake up earlier this morning and throw up. My SIL described it perfectly - it is just like a constant hangover Hmm

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 07:44

I have the waves of nausea all day long

mopsytop · 28/03/2014 07:55

I have migraines. 4 this week. Same last time. Is a total nightmare. I'm already feeling v scared and worried about coping. It is SO awful Sad

PunkyPod · 28/03/2014 08:10

Welcome to all the latest bfps!

I don't think we'll be getting a reassurance scan, it's so expensive so I'll have to wait for 12 weeks

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 08:58

Im grabbing a digi today. Excited to see the word 'pregnant' how sad am I Grin

rockstars12 · 28/03/2014 09:22

My scan will be with the fetal medical centre in London and is £100. Imbrian I'm also considering the harmony test too.
Bubba no morning sickness here yet but I'm only 4+5 so maybe around week 5 or 6. As much as I'd love to skip it they do say its a good sign of how high your hormone levels or something are. Guess if I don't get it ill worry more. Though I do feel like I have a hangover, but I'm dehydrated, this pregnancy makes me thirsty all the time, which is amusing for my other half as I never used to drink enough fluids.
Mopsy you'll make it through and you can always come on here to vent for those of us that know what you're going through. Maybe someone has suggestions on tablets you can take in pregnancy?
Witty I did that too as the pale lines weren't dark enough, I wanted my other half to see the word pregnant. I panicked a little bit that it would say not pregnant. Then was a little freaked when it was even though I knew I was. Completely irrational.

MrsFtn · 28/03/2014 11:04

Hi everyone. Congratulations to you all on your bfps. I am VERY tentatively joining you as this is my third pregnancy in 10 months so I really hope this one sticks.I am 5+1 today and the bleeding started in my other pregnancies at 6 weeks so to say I'm knicker checking is an understatement!

I don't have any strong symptoms yet which is worrying me a bit. I'm desperate for some sore boobs or a bit of morning sickness!

I did a cb test on Tues this week which showed a line almost invisible to the naked eye. Then on wed I did a cb digi which said pregnant 1-2 and on thurs I did another cb which showed a much darker line. I'm going to try and hold out til wed next week when I will do the other digi in the pack and hope it says pregnant 2-3. I seem to be poas more now than ever before.

Anyway, sorry for banging on about myself so much. Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better over the next 9 months or so!

MrsFtn · 28/03/2014 11:05

Btw edd is 27/11/14 although I have a long cycle so more likely to be dec I think x

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 28/03/2014 11:27

hi ladies has anyone got a case of the night wee sees?!
i went at 10pm, 12am, 2am, 4am, 6am and 8am!
suffice to say i didn't get any sleep and when my alarm went off at 6am i knew there was no going to work. i was so exhausted! like moving even the smallest muscle was a huge effort!
stomach still crampy (af due today eek)... (i am using a warm hot water bottle to get some relief as i would do with af) but have read that its bad to use a hot water bottle so a bit worried but its the only thing i can do to help and its not stonking hot. also woke up with lower back ache this morning so swapping hot water bottle front and back lol
i don't think this is going to be a fun 9 months if i am flagging already! just want a day in front of the tv!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 28/03/2014 11:27

wee wees!!!!

rockstars12 · 28/03/2014 12:02

Welcome mrsftn we are all fairly early on and worrying like crazy watching for signs of bleeding.
Sorry to hear you've had 2 mc in so short a space of time.
I had 1 at 18, 1 at 21 and I'm now 28 desperate to have dc1 with my husband and paranoid about having another mc. I wasn't with hubby at time of last 2, they were accidental pregnancies as a result of my stupidity. Part of me was relieved they didn't stick, but I'm scared of the implications for now that I'm settled and looking forward to one. He knows about the past and has been amazingly supportive and caring. He's currently making me a fry up! Yummy. I'm flat out on sofa with iPad looking at baby stuff.
