So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

Ah thanks for the doc Covent Smile that's really cool. I've added my details to it :) Our names are chosen, I have my favourites and DH has his. I wonder which way it'll go!

We're having a night away, seeing our favourite band Elbow while dd is staying with my parents. Looking forward to having a sing along Grin

Shanels · 05/04/2014 19:55

Hi all
I did a digital test yesterday and got the positive confirmation. According to the NHS calculator I'm due on 5th Dec. so worried and anxious though that it might be an ectopic. I'm 37! I have a sôre tummy that feels like my period is coming. I gave up trying for a baby 2 years ago and was convinced we weren't able to conceive so this is a shock.
X

Jo178 · 05/04/2014 20:19

Thanks for the data/stats page covent, really useful. Have added my info.
So today I have been mostly poas and knicker checking! Can't wait to be further in as this early stage is nerve wracking.
DD now has a sickness bug as well as the tonsillitis so that isn't helping my queasiness at all.
Hope everyone is well. Smile

BobaFetaCheese · 05/04/2014 20:20

Thanks Covent, awesome work there!

Shanels, lovely news! How did your OH take the news?

Punky, sounds like a good night, enjoy! I doubt we're going to get many nights away with 3 so will be making the most of it (we used to do two or three nights a month when there was only DS1, now it's more like one every 3 months)

ImBrian, enjoy your time off!

I'm having quiet heavy discharge throughout the day and keep on wondering if it's another mc! I haven't missed this knicker checking.
We sold our baby bits last weekend, luckily my maternity clothes didn't sell

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

BobaFetaCheese · 05/04/2014 20:23

Oh, forgot to add, I'm a sort of slim person (5'4, 122lbs atm) but I get bloated really early in pregnancy, my rings aren't fitting anymore grrrh!

prizeelliott · 05/04/2014 20:32

Hello everyone.... Can I join please.
I got my BFP with baby number 4 on April fools day!!
EDD 6th December.
What a long list we have already! Very exciting! Xx

Vicky5910 · 05/04/2014 21:07

Boba I've had to take my rings off too, I'm so bloated! :(

ImBrian · 05/04/2014 22:03

Just my belly is bloated, I've managed to loose 3lbs though my belly looks about 3 months!

OP posts:
Vicky5910 · 05/04/2014 22:06

haha my belly is the same, I'm trying to suck it in but it hurts with all the air in there! I'm staying away from the scales, I'm a serial dieter, my weight terrifies me, the only downside to pregnancy is the inability to diet. I'm eating fruit a lot, to try and control the insane hunger, but I also ate two sticky buns today :/

Vicky5910 · 05/04/2014 22:07

Hi prizee did anyone believe you? Did you have to show your partner the test?!

prizeelliott · 05/04/2014 22:14

DH thought I was having a laugh! Haven't been brave enough to tell anyone else yet! Going to try and keep it under my hat (jumper) as long as possible! Can't think work will be very impressed!
Lovely to have somewhere to talk about all the wonderful and terrifying early pregnancy bit! DH would soon get fed up of me rattling on I'm sure! Wink

Vicky5910 · 05/04/2014 22:19

My DH is all up for talk about names and gender and the fun bits, not so interested in my chatter about being so bloated I feel like I need to burp but can't, or that I'm sick and tired of weeing all the time. Humph. At least we have this place!
How are you feeling then Prize? What do you do for work? My boss is going to be gutted, I'd agreed to take on a lot of extra work from September but I doubt he'll want me to do it once he knows I'm off in November...

CoventGarden75 · 05/04/2014 22:19

Thanks for the welcome Smile and glad you like the spreadsheet, it's something that was developed in a previous group and I think it's useful.

Congrats and welcome shanels and prize, feel free to add yourselves to DecStats

ImBrian it will open on phone but it won't show the graphs of the "stats" tab . Wink

Anyone else having no symptoms? I'm terrified and have ordered 30 pg test on ebay Blush

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

4+3

Shanels · 06/04/2014 10:21

Thank you CoventGarden75 and Boba! Hope you are feeling better today. I read that discharge is normal Boba. And I wouldn't buy anymore tests CoventGarden75 - best to go to the GP. No symptoms might be just normal too. :)

My symptoms are just some upper back pain (which is why I'm worried about the ectopic) but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary. I also have a cold and asthma so that doesn't help.

Isn't it a scary thing?
Love to all on a grey wet Sunday. :)

ImBrian · 06/04/2014 10:40

Covent I had no symptoms at all with my first. Felt perfectly normal apart from a bit of cramp when my period was due.

Hello all! 4+6 here, after an mmc last July. Conceived on my 40th birthday weekend of celebrations by the looks of it.

Not convinced it will all work, esp considering last time and my age, but keeping everything crossed. Only told dp and my best friend.

somethingwittynot · 06/04/2014 11:16

I too have no symotoms so am POAS frequently I have the midwife on thursday so going to talk to her about it. My digi test wont go above 2-3 either. Hopefully she will get me an early scan though I have booked an early private scan. Just really need to see the heartbeat

CoventGarden75 · 06/04/2014 11:45

Thanks Shanels and ImBrian, it's good to know, i'm trying to relax.
Welcome President, I understand your worries, we have a similar profile.
I haven't told anyone yet and had promised myself not to get excited too soon, but that lasted about 24 hours and I'm already getting addicted to this group Grin.
Ftn I hope you're feeling better today.

ImBrian · 06/04/2014 12:27

Something witty have you done a non digital test? Much easier to see the line getting darker. I did a digi when I found out and haven't bothered since incase it stresses me out. I did two asda tests 4 days apart and the line had got darker so I left it at that though I may have been using opks once or twice Wink

Martie1 · 06/04/2014 14:06

Hi all, im martie. ImBrian told me about this thread- thank you!

This is baby no1. We've been ttc for 12 cycles now. My lmp was on 3rd March and I ovulated on 18th march- I was using opks. I poas on 1st April, which was 14dpo, a first response one and got two strong pink lines. Naturally very happy!! I poas the next morning, first response again, still strong and since then have used two internet cheapies. The line is strong on them also, but i think fainter than the first response ones. I had a photo on my phone but deleted it- couldn't risk anyone else seeing it but I posted a pic of my first poas on a conception thread on here, page 20, called '10 months ttc, staying positive and supporting each other' if anyone fancies taking a look.

Anyway, according to NHS website im due 14th Dec since it goes from lmp but ive had other calculators telling me 8th Dec and 23rd Dec so I just don't know. im so nervous, have had a few wee lower abdomen pains and keep thinking somethings going wrong but from what I read that is natural as its my uterus expanding. Any word of reassurance? Obviously this is a much wanted baby, we've been trying so long and don't want to tell anyone till we get further on, so need some reassurance from some mumsnet lovelies.

Thanks Smile

Lianasdav · 06/04/2014 15:19

Hi Martie congratulations! I too have been having abdominal pains but it's just the uterus stretching. It's one of the only things I remember about my first pregnancy 8 years ago so they must have been significant then!

Boba, I've been having discharge also. It even makes my pants feel damp on occasion. My is a peachy colour sometimes, I hope this is normal!?!?

Hope you've all had a nice weekend

Martie1 · 06/04/2014 15:34

Welcome President and Martie (I feel a race coming on!).

Martie, I don't think you'd get a positive test if you were due 23rd Dec for another few days, so it's probably earlier

President, and anyone else pregnant after mc, there's a fab thread here for ladies pregnant after mc, love the group!

Shanels, one of my mc I went to GP thinking it was ectopic and they said that you wouldn't 'feel' an ectopic yet as it wouldn't be big enough to cause the pain, so it's probably just 'normal' pain!

Covent, I have one digi left...will be ordering more if I don't get a 3+ at the end of this week Blush

something, good luck at the MW.

ffallada · 06/04/2014 16:10

Hi Lianasdav and martie, I was wondering what that soreness in my abdominal region was about! Thanks for talking about it.
Here is my question - what the hell is going on with my breasts! They are beyond sensitive. Before becoming pg I was a 34 E, I really can't afford to go up a few cup sizes. I'll topple over at this rate.

ImBrian · 06/04/2014 16:28

Martie baby centre says 8th December. They go on a 28 day cycle so for you that sounds about right. Those internet cheaply tests always take ages to go dark so I wouldn't worry. Step away from the hpts haha.

I've got increased cm this last few days. Gross but normal.
