Still not baby so it's sweep attempt number one today :(

Sweep done. Was pretty uncomfortable but not unbearable. She said my cervix is still pretty high but soft and she could just manage to get a finger in. So some progress. Stubborn baby girl on the other hand is still only 4/5 engaged! Not feeling too hopeful. Induction is booked for Wednesday but I can have two more potential sweeps before then.

I am still waiting to get induction booked in and am getting impatient! The finish line is in sight for u with ur induction booked for tomorrow

+4. Induction isn't until next Wednesday so I've still got plenty of time before then and obviously induction isn't the end of the world. I'm just feeling a bit deflated!

Completely understand comms i feel extremely deflated we will get there....

Has anyone else felt really crappy after a sweep? I just feel generally off and have had to come upstairs for a lie down. Could be completely unrelated!

I've heard a lot of people say they feel rubbish after a sweep, and I think it sometimes materialises to something- watching with interest as to whether anything happens from yours as I'm probably going to have one tomorrow (a little anxious about it)

Well, I've had my show (which has come off in tiny bits all day long - was expecting a proper lump) and now I'm having some nasty cramps, so something is happening. If I don't go into labour tonight I've got a sweep tomorrow morning which I'm guessing hoping will kick things off. Wish me luck.

Mummyk my cervix was far back so she had to really reach. It was uncomfortable but nowhere near as painful as I was expecting.
