I desperately want to eat lots of chocolate and cakes but I can't on account of the gallstones. Sweets are OK though so since they're the only treat I can have I have been eating loads! Also I had some family come to visit today so I made some low fat cakes, they were pretty good. I am not feeling itchy but my skin is starting to feel stretchy so I've been putting Bio-Oil on - I don't know whether it'll work but others have recommended it.

I'm bio oiling twice a day, meme, but the itchiness is still there. just moisturised and it's eased; i think i'm going to have to start carrying a bottle around with me wherever i go!

Omg it literally cannot stop eating! From feeling so sick up to 17 or so weeks all I can now think about is food, even when eating I'm thinking about what I fancy next aaaarrgggghhhh! Gonna be the size of a house by the time this little munchkin arrives help!

Hi everyone, I've been away in London for the book fair but am now back home, just trying to decide between going to bed, eating the rest of the Haagen Daaz in the freezer, tidying up the house or starting my mammoth task of writing up all my meeting notes!

It was lovely to get back and see DD. Have just popped her into bed and I'm typing this in my office while she sings and chatters herself to sleep.

Do you think our group is average size or on the big side? It feels lovely to have so many of us - by the last count we're up to 102 mothers and 105 forthcoming babies. 21 boys, 27 girls confirmed. SO exciting!

Hello all, lovely scan news from you all,time is ticking along towards august! I had my scan last week we are having a boy and a girl which is perfect! They are growing nicely and doing what they should be, I have some movement but no idea who is who just yet. I found oil on top if moisturiser really helped with my itchy tummy last time and remembered the other day much to my relief! Has anyone found any decent maternity summery trousers maybe 3/4 length or shorter length over bump leggings or is it still too early, I was boiling today!

Congratulations, Root, that's great news. And a good tip about the itching too. It;s driving me a bit mad on my sides at the moment.

I haven't seen any cropped trousers yet, but Vertbaudet have these leggings in black and white.

Hi all! Great news on scans- and one of each is fab root! Can someone amend list for me please- I am now August 1st and team blue :-) . My dd asked why I had scratched on my tummy the other day- am now slathering bio oil on my stretch marks liberally!!

So glad to hear I am not the only one who can't stop snacking at the moment. Partly its being able to as its school hols so I am off work its too tempting having access to the fridge all day. I have been using bio oil to try and prevent stretch marks and have found that a cheap moisteriser works better with itchiness.

I've been using bio-oil twice a day everyday since the beginning of Trimester 2 with a wee dollop of Cussons Mum&Me bump stretch mark cream on top. I also use baby oil at the end of my shower but I always did that even before I was pg. I've only had a couple of itchy days and have been carrying around a wee mini bottle of Mum&Me bump body lotion. I've only had to use it twice but I'm still quite small I think so I'm sure there are more stretching days to come.

Hubby and I have pledged to try and go to the cinema once a week until the baby is born isitme since we won't be able to go so much once it's here. Although the cinema up here do special showings where the lights are only dimmed slightly and the sound is turned down specifically so you can take babies with you. Think it's only 1 showing a week though on a Wednesday morning or something like that.

Primark have leggings for about £4 or £5 if you have a sewing machine maybe you could crop them yourself Root? I have the under bump jeggings and they are wonderfully comfy. Being so far north I don't have the problem of being too hot yet

Disney sometimes just going out to restaurants is too much for him. He has really bad sensory aversions. Hes petrified of water as when he was younger fluids would cause him pain and he worked out it was fluids so every bath/shower is a nightmare as he screams his head off!

Afternoon and happy Friday ladies, Thought Id check in and say hello because Ive not posted for a bit, hope everyone is well, I'm 24 weeks today yippee! Where are these weeks going?

I've been thinking about the clothes situation, I've got 2 pairs of over bump leggings and 3 pairs of jeans (one over, 2 stretchy under bit) that was probably a stupid idea because will be boiling in the holidays

I ordered some braces off eBay for a few quid which Ive worn for the first time today (under my top) to try and keep annoying maternity jeans up! It's worked, they have pinged off a couple of times but better than flashing a builders bum! no one has noticed I dont think ha ha!

Have lurked until had 20 week scan, but all ok so I'd like to join please?!

Hi all, glad to hear all the scans are going well!

I'm 22 weeks now and have formally told work I'm finishing on 30th June! Hurrah!

Had leaky boobs the last few days which freaked me out a bit if I'm honest. Seems to come and go a bit. Anyone else had this?

Also, too tip for comfy and non expensive bras..... Get to sainsburys! They have lovely seam free bra tops. Perfect for during the day if you are pretty flat chested like me and really comfy to wear in bed if you need to. £6 each!! Bargain.

disney I've been having similar feelings. Nothing I could really describe as bubbles or butterflies, but definite twinges. I'm just back from holiday and two things provoked a lot of activity - turbulence on the plane and snorkelling. Otherwise I notice something going on in there in the early hours of the morning, particularly if I am tossing and turning in bed, and late at night.

My scan is on Tuesday, and I'm looking forward to see if movements during the scan tally up with what I can feel.
