Glad you enjoyed the meal mssleepyhead hope you enjoyed Paris, we will hopefully be away for a wee holiday as long as this placenta doesn't cause any issues, if it does then we will have plenty more baby comes first wont be getting on any plane if any risk.

Can I ask you lovely ladies what your kicks/movements are actually feeling like? I've only heard that they feel like bubbles or a 'butterflies' type feeling which I may have felt once but I do occassionally get a poking/stretching type pain sensation and I'm wondering if that could be movement? I've always put it down to stretching but it's quite often only at one side so maybe it's the wee blobs little feet?

Scan went well - confirmed as a little boy and everything as it should be : ) phew! Even got a great photo of him kicking himself in the head so DH is lining him up to play for Real Madrid already. Thanks for all the best wishes : )

Disney - at first my kicks felt like little bubbles bursting but now they feel like full on pokes. Last night they were so strong I thought he was going to pop out! And he hasn't stopped since. If you like your tongue into your cheek, it feels a bit like that...

Disney the movements I feel are mostly like bubbles or muscle twitches. They are really infrequent, I only really feel them a few times a day, but when I do feel them there are quite a lot of them in a row. I keep feeling things up high (as in above my belly button) and off to the side a bit, it seems like such an odd place so sometimes I am not sure if it really is the baby or not. I do feel them down low too in places you'd expect.

I posted on the FB group too and from what everyone else has said I'm pretty sure that what I have been feeling is actually movements and not just twitches and stretching! Yay! I get them infrequently but when I do there are a lot in a row too meme. Felt like a kick or an elbow down low on the left side earlier, not noticed anything higher so far but maybe I will in a week or 2. They just don't feel like the delicate butterflies and bubbles that they are usually described as so I never considered them movement.

Hiya everyone lovely scan news from everyone, my movements are more like stretching and rolling but often panic because I can go a day or so unaware of any movement.
Boudica he will be a gorgeous little ball of mud that will keep you laughing, and your washing machine going. Brilliant fun.
Bunny, no, one boy but I have a brother and brother in law and dh definitely outnumbered was thinking my future was going to be football and pee on the bathroom floor!!

I felt proper movement last night!! I had my hand on my belly in the bath and got a proper kick! Then during the night I could feel the baby rolling around. Kind of grossed me out but it was amazing!!!

I have 2 boys. Last night I had a gut feeling this 1 is a boy too. Dont mind as long as baby is ok and im ok after delivery.

My 2 are opposites! Chalk and cheese! Eldest is scared of everything and has health problems he is thin (also has sn) ds2 is very curious and loves food. ..

Yay for disney!!! Its nice isn't it!

Welcome boudicca and RAF! We've got a lovely big group I'm already getting excited about all the announcements we'll be getting in a few months!

Thanks everyone for the advice on stopping bottles - we had more crying on the second night after the last time I posted, and then the same again on the third night, she was really getting hysterical and it was horrible seeing her so upset Poor little thing. So I gave her a bottle and all is fine again She clearly was very much not ready so we will leave it until she is. As some of you have said, I guess she will stop quite happily when she is ready and she can always have the bottle to herself if she wants it at the same time as DC2 when he/she arrives.

I'm working at home today (have popped on for an illicit read of the thread...) and DD is here with my MIL instead of being at nursery as usual, so it's really hard to keep myself shut in the study instead of going out to play with her! I'm getting loads of kicks from No.2 at my desk though

Disney. Thanks for updating the list. Exciting to hear of people feeling movement and more scans underway. I have mw app next week which is nice because my 20wk scan feels like it was so long ago(5 weeks) and I have felt a bit in limbo. Can't believe I have just over 15wks until due date. Prob shouldn't have worked that one out because it sounds like no time at all (panic panic)

YAY!!!! It's finally getting closer

Nae bother Weeza just realised it hadn't been updated in pages.

Is it bad that I just went to a Yoga/tai chi/pilates class and then bought 3 chocolate bars on my way back to the office? They were on offer so it would have been rude not to...

Disney, not bad you bought 3 choc bars, I am cursing the easter eggs at home. Normally do not have a sweet tooth but have found myself wanting chocolate and making cakes, I do get a few vigarous kicks a few minutes after eating them from baby so I am blaming him for wanting a bit of sugar

I'd be eating chocolate like it was going out of fashion if it made the baby move! I've been good and haven't actually had any of my chocolate yet. I've hidden them in my work drawer so they'll be there for future needs.

I'm going to the cinema tonight so might get a pick n mix

Its been aaaageeesss (I mean years!) Since I went to the cinema! Ds has always been to ill and hes borderline autistic and the dark plus loud noises would scare him too much :(

I always want chocolate lol. Going to get the boys an easter egg each

I haven't stopped eating today... Cereal, a creme egg, an apple, a burrito, a happy meal (guilt) and sour skittles! And it's not even tea time yet! Tummy is starting to feel very stretched and itchy. Went out today to buy some moisturiser to try and ease it but doubt it will help. Any tips?
