Clomid success stories please

Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

hi omg im soo stupid i read the letter wromg i thot it sed they do not indicate ovulation when infact t sed they do indicate ovulation how embarresing i actually foned she was like no u have ovulated lol so i worried 4 nothing swear the tablets have made me really dumb lol

Ladies,

I'm 4 days late and I've just done a test. I think there is a REALLY faint line, but it is so faint I'm worried I'm imagining it!!

I'm gonna try again in the morning with my first pee. Fingers crossed!!! I'm so excited I can't quite contain myself. If I come on now I'll be gutted!

OMG i think you are! thats how my friend found out. Her test line was really faint too! I think you've done it!!!! but im gna hold out till i congratulate you!!!!!!

waw it will b true wen i was preg few yr ago my 1st test was sooo faint then waited few days n it was more pink so i think u r u must b well excited xxx

Tested again this morning. This time nothing though, so now I'm really confused. I'll just have to wait and try again in a few days!!

Sorry I have not been around but I have not been at work and no computer at home!!

My period was due yesterday and not arrived. I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive but the clinic said that because I had an HCG injection to bring on ovultation I have to wait 16 days to be sure. Day 16 is monday. To be honest its not the first test I have taken and they have all been posistive but faint lines this morning it was to thick blue lines. But cant do anything until monday morning when I officially test again. I am in sooooooo much pain with period pain, it actually woke me up last night and I had to take pain killers....am really confused!! DH saya I have been through a lot with the IUI and maybe its just bruising from that that is causing the pain...I hate this waiting!!

Thanks for your message.....I really hope you find out on monday for sure now. how come you have had positive test results before? is that through the injections? Well this sounds more promising because you say its a more definate blue line......oooohhhhhh i hope you are pregnant. I think its about time now all our wishes started coming true!

I went back to see specialist, my blocked tube was not cleared as it is too damaged and could cause more problems, she said that due to my age they were going to put me straight onto ivf, i asked if i could try clomid first, i was told that it could be dangerous as i could end up having a eptopic pregnancy and would be very dangerous if i could not get to hospital in time, the consultant then went into see the head specialist , she came back with aperscription for 3 months of 50ml clomid, surely if they was any danger i would not of been perscribed it, i take my first tablet this evening, Hope alls going well for you all, keep been positive im trying to be.

Been to the hospital this morning for my confirmation blood test....will get the results between 5pm-7pm tonight....soooooo nevous....had a scan today but they cant explain the pain....taking apracetamol that does nothing....I will keep you informed....fingers crossed x

i had natural mens 16th july,(9 days) first one for 19weeks. but over the last 2 days i have had a dull ache around my womb area? any ideas what it could be?

due to start clomid this month is all goes well, but keep clinging to the hope that maybe just maybe i could fall on my own this month.

I took it for 3 months and nothing happened and then I got pregnant the month after. dd now nearly 3.

Just taken it again for 3 months and nothing but here is hoping for next month

hi madame, i have been given 6 months worth and evrything is working fine ie: im ovulating on 50mg but not falling pregnant, do you think its worth stopping for one month just to see...i guess it cant do any harm can it?

well im ew to this but just looking for some support. everyone around me seems to fall pregant easily but me ive been trying for 2 yrs.

had all the test and all that was found was my right tube maybe slighty blocked due to a burst appendix and my hormone levels are a bit low.

I have an appointment with my gyneacologist in 3 weeks but am quite anxious about starting clomid. i have read on here about putting on weight, does this happen in all cases?

I used to be anorexic and although i have come to terms with putting on weight (obviously) with the baby i dont know how i feel about it before.

i had a reptured appendics at the age of 7, very ill for a long time, me and my partner were ttc for 2 yrs no success went for fertility treatment, had a lapo done, my left tube is blocked, they are not sure when it got blocked , could of been before my child in previous marriage, i have just started clomid, did not want to perscribe it for me originally, dont recommend it to people with blocked tubes due to eptopic pregancy risk, , wanted to put me straight on ivf, but want to try other options first, still gave me clomid , dont think they would of perscribed it if i was a high risk,dont worry about your weight, im not,what is important is your health, you dont put weight on but you need to eat to stay healthy for you to concieve, a balanced diet, food is vital , please email me if you need to talk , [email protected] .loads hugs Marcy x

Thanks debz and marcy for your nice messages. dr said dont see why i souldnt be able to concieve im a healthy 8 stone now and doing well. glad to know you dont always put on weight.

Never been pregnant n i nievely thought it would happen easier than it has.
i work in anaesthetics and deliver babies by c section all the time. makes things even harder, especially when their silly 16 yrs olds.

they couldnt given me a definative answer on tube blocked so im keeping my fingers crossed it isnt.
