Hi Angel and other ladies,
Well it seems i have certainly been out of the loop for a while. I had to stay off this sight for quite sometime, it was getting me so down with everyone falling pregnant.
I saw my gyno on 14 November and we discussed the next stage as the clomid didn't work for me (have pcos for those who don't know me) - the next process im told is IUI - we get three free goes, and the waiting list is 3-6 months, so DH and me have decided to pay for a go ourselves as all this waiting is driving me nuts (have been trying for four years this month). So figures crossed as i hoping to start that next month or in January.
Just to share something with you my gyno said - sorry if it depresses you, but facts and figures are a must in this game. The longer you have been trying to conceive naturally without success, the lower your chances (mine being 1%), with clomid the chance goes up to 5%, and with IUI it is 15%. Not sure what the odds are with IVF, but guess that will be even higher.
So im now thinking, why the hell was i given clomid when it only gives a 5% chance.... well it is now day 28 of my forth and final cycle of clomid, which considering my af is between day 32 and 49, im certainly not holding out much hope.
