Clomid success stories please

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I am due in on a week and I have had af type cramps for a couple of days so was feeling really negative, but I spoke to my sister who had IVF twins a year ago and she said she had period pain for the first three months so didnt think she was pregnant either (i remeber her complaining about it at the time now)...so dont assume anything...def rely on pregnancy test if anything!! Going to do test next fri day my af is due if I haven't come on....fingers crossed everyone!!

no wallacex....Thursday........Well test at the same time too lol....we will probs come on by then dont waste money on test yet lol......

Just a note i was spending loads on pg tests and in the end i ordered some on internet from accessdiagnostic.co.uk its next day delivery and they only cost about 80p each.

Sarah i lost my will power and angel im sorry but i did test - not good - my earlier pregnancy tests from last weekend were right - im not pregnant, will just wait now for my period assuming that comes and i don't have to induce it again.

Im going home in just under two hours, feel like crying into my pillow.

I'm sorry to hear that, but do try and keep your chin up. It will happen eventually.

What round are you on? My first round I really thought it had worked, but that turned out to be negative. This time round I don't feel like it's worked. I'm normally 26 days on the dot (even with the Clomid) so Wednesday id D-day for me!!

I know it's hard but try not to let it get you down, your time will come.

Sarah - when i start again i will be on round 2. I just thought that it had worked, had no idea why, but at the moment i have no period and no pregnancy - i ovulated so i don't no whats happened - i just don't want to have to induce my bleed again.

Dont be upset hun just give it some time for the clomid to kick in and it will work. I still have not tested but think i will tonight. Its gona be negative so no need for me to post on here tonight! lol

Yeah i swear im ok lol was at the cinema yesterday wid hubby bein very sad individuals seeing how many movies we could watch as we bought an umlimited pass and hubby said i wouldnt even use it and get my moneys worth so was just tryna prove him wrong! Watched Hancock, Meet dave and Wall-e lol. I know that was totally off the topic.

Hello Ladies!

Just wondering what type of diet you are all on when taking clomid... I mean is it extra healthy? Or extra vitamins? Does anyone think this makes a difference in chances of conceiving? How about alcohol? I drink an average of 2-3 glasses of wine a night.. Have been trying to conceive our second child for akmost two years. Have had one 2 doeses of clomid, but no luck.. Maybe there is sommthing else i can do?

I think i end up getting up early at the wkend because I get up early during the week for work, tried to have a lie this morning, but didn't work.

Angel i too have watched walle - thought it was good - lol - can't believe you watched that many films.

Still haven't come on so looks like i will have to induced my bleed again which i think is strange considering i have ovulated. Have you come on yet?

Thought I would just put on a quick post.
Started my first round of clomid which I finished today. Fortunatly I had no side effects . I suppose now I just have to wait & see what happens . What will be will be . I'm actually to the point now where I'm getting impatient, everyone I know is either getting hitched or having Bambino's.

Started this morning.....Arrrggghhh! pains are really bad. such a nice day and i cant even go out. Start clomid round 3 tmmorrow.

What dyu mean induce ur bleed??? How do you do that???

I have finally come on, but that was around about 1pm today so not sure when i should start my clomid, would day 2 be tommorrow or should i start tuesday?

Because i have PCOS i don't often get a period, so if i didn't have one, i would have to take a drug called Provera for five days which makes you bleed, its a fake period, a bit like when your on the pill. But fortuantley i didn't have to do that, i have had a natural bleed which i am chuffed about.

Im sorry you came on - how are you feeling now? any better?

hi everyone, i was just wondering do they put you up to 100mg even if you are ovulating on 50mg but not falling pregnant? Im on my second cycle of 50mg and i have been ovulating on 50mg, hopefully sometime this week, but was just wondering how long they leave it before testing further, obviously if clomid is doing its job and i dont fall pregnant over the next couple of months then it must be something else...anyone have any stories/comments. Sorry if its a silly question...

I would say that the second day of your period would be tomorrow as it would be the second day of a new cycle. Today would be counted as your 1st day. I was trying to work it out as well. Hope that helps

hi wallacex, you take day 2 clomid tommorow not tuesday. You take it tommorow as you have started early in the day if you would have started late at night only then would you have taken clomid on tusday. I take mine tomorow too lol! So were exactly the same time now hey, i think im just one course ahead. Great that u came on naturally!

cheeky monkey, i have been on 50 mg for 2 cycles 3rd one now and dr could see i was ovulating but not falling pregnant so increased the cycles i am taking it for from 3 to 6 but didnt increase the dose. How many cycles have you taken clomid for and how many months dyu have to take it.
