Clomid success stories please

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

Don't really have anything to say but thought I'd check in anyway.

I'm not due until 30 July so I'm now playing the waiting game. Don't appear to be having any symptoms, and I don't really think it has worked this time, but I gues we'll just wait and see.

Problem is, I'm not very patient!!

Hiya All

I posted earlier in the link - asking about lubricants.

Due to start Clomid next month - have to start Yasmin on Thursday for one cycle - am so irregular.

I notice that everyone is being monitored with bloods and scans..

I have just been told that I start one month with 50mgs - then another two with 100mgs. If no pregnancy - then I will have tests to see if my only remaining tube is blocked - if not 3 more cycles of 100mgs - then IVF.

I have not been told to have any blood tests or scans - which is strange as I live overseas and am having private treatment!!!

How important is weight - I am a few stones overweight - but no -one ha mentioned I should loose it - although I am anyway!!

Think I will call my Doc - to ask if I should be monitored..

I think your right about it being too high for me to have conceived this month, will be speaking to the consultant later on today and see what he has to say.

Debz - not sure why he started me on 100mg to start, probably because of me having PCOS and sometimes not having an af for 5 months.

Will let you know what he says.

morning all - Well i came on this morning which in a way im quite pleased about coz hopefully will get my scan done in next couple of weeks and can then get started on the clomid. Just hoping scan comes back ok. Feeling much more positive about all of this now so thanks for all your help, its good to be able to speak to others going thru the same thing.

Anyway due on friday, but keep having ovulation pains still on my left side. there defo not period cramps. Dont understand why im having these as im not ovulating kuz im due on friday. is that right????? Sorry just abit dense when the suns out lol!

I can't see the sun as im stuck inside the office - role on lunch time - lol.

Im due on tommorrow and like you im still getting pains in my left side - not sure what they mean - perhaps its normal.

I am also taking clomid so still not sure why I am not having blood tests and just having scans but I guess I have to have trust in my clinic.

I feel really inpatient....got another 9 days until period due....and counting x

Im stuck in office too not nice when the sun is shining!! Took a weeks hols last week and now the sun comes out!!

me and you are at the same level. im also due on friday. had my bloods last friday so if i do cum on i will be starting round 4. but my gyno said if i dont ova this month she will up my dose 2 100mg but aint heard anything so may just give a ring. fingers crossed every1 xx

lol.....I rang my lovely consultant and although im not too happy with the result she says its still great. Last month ovulation was 60.2 and this month it has dropped to 40. Dont understand it at all.

But consultant is still very happy with results......Guess i shouldnt have been too happy this morning!!! Going to wallow in self pity for abit now......... xx

haylz you should ring your gyno kuz i had my blood test on friday and my results they told me today were actually ready yesteray!

Hi Angel008 - dont let it get you down - i know im not on clomid yet but have been doing some reading and aint 40 still a lot more than normal?? Am sure if doc says its good it must be. Think positive!!

Thanks peju, Ive had a good cry about it i thin its the first time since ive been on clomid ive been so so down! Im not sure what the normal level is so i dont even know if 40 is good or bad, i just know last month it was 60.2 and this month its dropped so much.

I wanted a better result. Its like i'll never have the baby i really do want.....Its so upsetting!

I just had a look back up thread now at when you got your reults it said that 60 was 3 times as much so dont panic your still doubled up!! Im sure i read that the normal range is only up to about 28.
You will have your baby - as you told me - you need to try not to think about it too much i know thats hard for all of us here and so im a right one to talk (tears are 2nd nature now!)and i havent even got onto the clomid stage! We will all look back at this one day and laugh at ourselves (and the pile of dirty nappies!!)
Just think of all the fun we get to have trying!

Awwww thanks for that peju, really sweet message....i actually just went back to page 12 and checked that post out. Thats exactly hat i said but my memory is like a fish lol. So yeah your right its still double then. Im just sure everyone elses are higher and mines soooo low! but must be something right there if consultant is telling me!

I read your news - 40 is still good your between what you should be, that nurse i spoke to yesterday said it should be between 30 and 70, so your doing good. I have also been reading other threads and for some reason other people seem to have a high one month then a low, it means your body is getting used to it - so thats good.

Im sure i do have widows in the office but not one to ask - lol - as for windwows i look out a brick wall, well another buidling - lol

Thats good if the nurse has told you that, so really i wasted my tears lol.....I have asked my dr today to request notes from the hopital so i can discuss the results with her as consultant is fully booked right up until my appointment in november.

Where have you seen people have high results and low? i cant seem to find it. If you know off the top of your head leme know otherwise dont go searching lol. My hubby also said it must be cause my body is getting used to it.....
