Just got 2 very very (very very very) faint lines. The magical due date doo-dah says 3rd Oct is the magic number. Who knows? It could all go tits up still, but if you, like me, suspect you might be in the early stages it would be nice to chat.

I'll start the list shall I?

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 18:54

Sorry sophspot xxxx

claptomania · 12/02/2014 19:35

Sorry to hear that sophspot

Re travelling - I also have 2 weeks booked in Greece in June. Easyjet let you fly right until late pregnancy (of course they do) - looks like the issue might be travel insurance. Saw an article a few weeks ago where a couple ended up paying upwards of £200k because baby came early. So do check, ladies!

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 20:16

Eeekkkk good point about the insurance, I will be six months when we go so hopefully that won't happen.

noimagination80 · 12/02/2014 20:43

Hi all,

how's everyone doing?

Can I join?

Expecting DC1 EDD 15th..

I have received both my first midwives and scan dates in the post. But still not really believing it's happening. No real symptoms to date...Still have a bit of a poas addiction Blush

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 20:45

Hi noimagination, welcome to the thread, you have your dates already? How far along are you?

noimagination80 · 12/02/2014 21:04

Hi Bump,

Yeah, I tested stupid early and got a faint bfp at around 8-9dpo, then tested with a digital the next morning and got a 1-2 positive.

Went in to see my GP last Wednesday, She confirmed, (what the 6+ test had already said) and as this is all new to me I just wanted to get the confirmation. We went through hospital options and what not.

I am 5 weeks today, if I go by my last af.

Loopylu84 · 12/02/2014 21:16

Welcome noimagination!

I'm a day behind you and have also recieved my first midwife and scan appointments-it's so exciting! Grin

pebble82 · 12/02/2014 21:22

I spoke to a midwife today for the first time and got my first appointment on 5th March. No scan date though. So jealous of you.

I'm either 5+5 (last AF) or 5 weeks (if going by conception).

The worry is doing my head in now. It's like the fear of exam results times 100.

noimagination80 · 12/02/2014 21:31

Hey Loopylu how are you feeling?

I am trying to keep level headed as I know it's still so early. I can't wait to see or feel something, as i think it will make it more real. dh is excited enough for the both of us.

Got the midwife at 8 weeks, and scan at 11........

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 21:50

Awwwww I'm six weeks and no midwife or scan for me yet, seeing GP on Friday so hoping she will book it for me?

Wiggy29 · 12/02/2014 22:57

Hi there folks, I'm 5+1 I think... This will be dc1,early days but exciting ones. I have mw appointment for March 13th. Been feeling a bit queasy but nothing too bad.

binkybunny · 13/02/2014 06:48

Having a bit of a scare at the mo. Found a little bit of blood last night which freaked me out so we called NHS 24 who I have to say were great once I got through to the doctor. Had a bit of dark brown spotting over night and cramps have come back. Going to try to see the GP this morning just to put my mind at rest. I know it can happen and be fine but I'm just so scared Sad

Firstly, sorry for posting twice and secondly this is dc3 not 1!

Binkybunny- how far are you? As you said, this happens with lots of people and they're fine but I'm sure you won't feel reassured until you speak to your doctor. I had quite bad cramps until about wk 10 with dc1&2, I even argued with doctor with dc1 that I couldn't be pregnant as I'd had such bad period cramp. They said that at first womb tries to reject it as a foreign body but the pregnancy hormones override it and keep it there.

Not sure if the colour makes a difference but I also had quite a heavy dark brown 'sludgy' bleed at about 18 was with dc2&that was also fine.

Hope it goes well at the doctorfor you.

officelady · 13/02/2014 07:05

binky how worrying for you - although having googled WAY too much over the last few weeks, it is very common at this stage. Hopefully the GP will be able to put your mind at rest - and maybe even send you for an early scan?
I am really jealous of all the people with their appointments and their scan dates! Not fair!! Envy

MundayCakes85 · 13/02/2014 07:14

FX everything is ok for you Binky.
Still only the sore boobs here, even the mood swings full on rage has disappeared! Felt a little queasy yesterday but I'd just worked a night shift Smile
Scan letter came yesterday- 3 weeks to go!!

magichandles · 13/02/2014 07:28

Hi, just joining in as well. I should be 4+1 and EDD 23rd October with DC3. Tested yesterday as I'd had a few cramping pains last week that were too early for AF. Still very early days, no real symptoms yet other than raging thirst and I'm feeling a bit (ok a lot) hormonal.

Still getting my head round it to be honest, feeling a bit nervous about having 3!

I hope everything is ok for you, binky.

binkybunny · 13/02/2014 07:33

Thanks everyone. I know it can be normal just need more reassurance than DH Mum and text books Blush Pregnancy really is making me a crazy person!

TroubleAndFyfe · 13/02/2014 07:39

FX for you Binky! Thanks
Congratulations newbies! Smile

mrsb87 · 13/02/2014 07:54

Fx for you binks, I hope it all works out ok four you.

7wks today and ive heard nothing from the midwife about an appointment.

Going back to the doc today to see about stronger meds as the lovely ladies in the hyperemesis thread don't think I'm on strong enough. Preparing for first sickness of the day Sad

CareBearWithFangs · 13/02/2014 07:56

Glad I'm not the only one without many symptoms. Hope everything's ok binky.

I forgot to put before that this is DC1. I have a Dd who is 2.7.

Is anyone else really really hungry all the time? I'm not sure if it's a pregnancy thing or if my brain has just found a good excuse to over eat.

MrsF2510 · 13/02/2014 08:02

CareBear, I'm hungry all the time but that's quite normal for me!

kimblecakes · 13/02/2014 08:33

Hello -

Tentatively pregnant with our first - due 17th Octoberish

Clear Blue has confirmed, but still waiting for doctors. We weren't actively trying, just not not trying! Such a blessing, but so unexpected! Mildly freaking out.

CareBearWithFangs · 13/02/2014 08:49

Morning Kimble :)

I'm just eating whatever I fancy at the moment, I know once morning sickness kicks in I'll struggle to keep anything down. I lost quite a bit of weight in my first trimester with DD so hoping to pile a bit on at the moment.
