Just got 2 very very (very very very) faint lines. The magical due date doo-dah says 3rd Oct is the magic number. Who knows? It could all go tits up still, but if you, like me, suspect you might be in the early stages it would be nice to chat.

I'll start the list shall I?

Please can I join? Due 18th October, according to my iPad app. Not had any appointments or anything yet. Also I don't feel pregnant at all which is worrying my slightly Confused

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 10:21

Zahazie that is such a tricky one, Australia will be a nightmare because it is so long and so far I doubt the doctor would be happy with that trip going ahead. If I were you I would just let work book tickets and will just have to cancel them when you tell them, I am sure they can get a refund for something like this.

I have a holiday booked for June to Portugal which I am already worrying about as planes are uncomfortable at the best of times let alone with a huge bump!

mrsb87 · 12/02/2014 10:25

Pebble one cup of tea or coffee is fine, they only warn against it if you drink excessive amounts so you can stop beating yourself up over it.

Welcome Carebear

I don't feel pregnant either but it's still very early! I am not even 5 weeks till Saturday.

zahazie · 12/02/2014 11:10

Good advice Bumpforme2014 - I'll just get work to book tickets and then cancel them if necessary.
It's my first pregnancy, and I have been lucky to feel pretty good so far (apart from mild sickness last few days), so it's difficult for me to imagine what it will be like to travel with a bump!
Hope I feel well enough for my holiday end of May in the Caribeann though!! Grin

mum2kiss · 12/02/2014 11:13

Zahazie I think you might have a job getting travel insurance to cover you to fly at 30 weeks and I woulnt want to risk travelling without it!0. I think a lot of airlines are reluctant to let pregnant woemn fly past 24 weeks too.

akachan · 12/02/2014 11:41

I have a holiday booked early June in Rome. I am assuming I'll be OK to go, I hope so!

mrsb87 · 12/02/2014 11:57

Center parcs is as far as I'm going this year.

I THINK I'm going to be ok with that.

akachan · 12/02/2014 12:07

I'm not going to book anything else I think. Apart from anything else I would like to save the leave to use to extend my maternity leave. This is a trip with friends, poor DH!

porcito · 12/02/2014 12:16

I can finally, half confidently join! I'm due Oct 3rd, had a scan yesterday and saw baby's heart after a month of worrying. Want to hibernate until 12 weeks! They saw bleeding in the scan which freaked me out but apparently it usually just disappears by itself. Doesn't really help when you get back and google it! I need to be banned from google for my sanity.

DuggiWontSleep · 12/02/2014 12:26

I feel as though i am loosing my mind. All of my symptoms have disappered (tiredness, cramps, nausea and sore boobs) so now i am completely stressed out. I literally stayed awake all night willing my body to ache. Im not sure how much more of this i can take :-(

Should i just keep POAS to reassure myself? If so, the cheap ones or the digi versions so i ca see if the stage of pregnancy has progressed since i first did it about 3 weeks ago (i'm 6 + 3 weeks).

I really want to enjoy this pregnancy but fear that it may alredy be over. Apologies for such a depressing post - dont want to speak to DH about it as i dont think he'll understand why i feel so anxious and will just say 'wait for the scan' !

CareBearWithFangs · 12/02/2014 12:41

Thanks aka Smile I think I am also 5 weeks on Saturday (if I'm working it out right). Everyone's holiday plans sound good. We will be sticking to somewhere in the uk. With my least pregnancy we had a holiday booked on my due date, which we had to cancel.

CareBearWithFangs · 12/02/2014 12:43

Duggi I would POAS (I've used 5 tests already) but I'm sure your fine.

MrsF2510 · 12/02/2014 13:26

Duggi - I have no symptoms so don't worry. Have had no AF either, have you? POAS to reassure yourself but you can't do it for the next 8 months or it will cost a fortune!

Bumpforme2014 · 12/02/2014 13:40

Porcito, at least you saw the heartbeat that's the main thing. Duggi pOAS if it makes you feel better but unless you have had a bleed you are 100% still preggars. I also have no symptoms but it is still very early days with plenty of time for it all to hit us.

pebble82 · 12/02/2014 13:44

No symptoms here either. Anything I'm thinking is a symptom is probably imagined or happens all the time and I'm just noticing as I'm looking out for anything.

Earlier I thought I felt sick, turns out it was lunch time and I was just hungry!

mrsb87 · 12/02/2014 13:44

I would swap with you guys with minimal or no symptoms any day!

Cakebaker35 · 12/02/2014 14:22

duggi there really is no point in poas-ing, you will drive yourself mad. You are pregnant, you've had a BFP and no AF so you are fine. I asked the doc about poas-ing using the conception indicator ones and was strongly advised not to bother as they are not as accurate as you think (packaging says 99% but this is only for the bfp part not dates) and after a certain point in pregnancy your hcg levels even out so may potentially not even register and you'll worry yourself even more! I have no symptoms at all either (was v tired and bloated, now nothing) but I was the same with dd1. You must stop stressing or you will make yourself ill and stress will not do you or tiny bean in you any good.

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/02/2014 16:20

Ooh, lots of lovely holidays! We're planning to go first week or two of June, not sure where yet - just somewhere hot with swimming pools and a beach will do me fine. Thinking maybe all inclusive for ultimate laziness! Grin

pebble82 · 12/02/2014 17:03

We booked a week away in May. Last hol just the two of us so making the most of it and going 5 star :-) Shame I can't make the mist of all inclusive alcohol. I'll definitely be eating all the cake on offer though.

sophspot · 12/02/2014 17:34

Can someone remove me from the next list please(mc at 5+5) Can't to it on my phone. Happy healthy pregnancies everyone. Hopefully ill be on another bus soon xx

akachan · 12/02/2014 17:35

Sorry to hear that Sophspot - really good luck to you.

FlipFantasia · 12/02/2014 17:37

Sophspot so sorry to hear that Hmm, big hugs to you and hope you have a sticky bean soon xx

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/02/2014 18:22

Hmm Sorry Sophspot, fingers crossed for you for the future.

petitverdot · 12/02/2014 18:34

Sorry to hear that Sophspot Sad

We're off for a fortnight to Greece at the end of June, which just squeezes me under the point at which the airline would need a doctor's note. Can't wait!
