Hi all just place marking... Hope everyone is good..xx

Jess, I totally empathise!
I seem to have a run of three horrendous days where I can't keep anything down at all, followed by a day or two where I manage to eat, though still feel terribly nauseous. Today is my vom-free day, so far!
I seem to get some relief using sea bands. I didn't think they'd work, but actually when I wear them I don't tend to throw up as frequently. You should give them a go if you haven't already. Safer than meds!
I'm usually a pretty healthy eater, but yesterday I ate a whole tub of full fat Philly with crackers, and it stayed down (whereas nothing else did).
I find that when the soap-scum taste is strong in my mouth I am more likely to throw up, but that seems to come and go randomly. Worse after eating, especially sweet things. I've also been feeling terribly dehydrated, but apparently drinking flat coke or Lucozade instead of water can help as it supposedly stays down easier. I didn't find this at all though. Bleugh!

SEA BANDS

Shakshuka · 21/01/2014 17:35

Just got home after a terrifying drive. I really need a stiff drink but will have to make do with a cup of tea :) Now I'm home it can snow as much as it likes! Thankfully kids get bussed to and from school (surprisingly theyre not closing early) so no more driving for me.

FizzyPinkWine · 21/01/2014 17:49

Leaving this group now.
Had 12 week scan today. No heartbeat. Baby stopped growing at 9 weeks 1 day.
Had no pain or bleeding whatsoever.
Back to hospital on Sunday for medically managed miscarriage.
I'm not doing too well. I'm devastated. This is my second miscarriage in 5 months.
Good luck everyone.
