Feels doubly-horrid to share good news right now but hope it gives some others who are worried some hope, our scan went well today. Had really hoped there would be more good news today. So sorry again for those who are suffering from a horrible shock xxxxxxxxxx

onion19632 · 21/01/2014 22:14

Feelingfatty - I also start feeling terrible at about 3pm and it lasts until bedtime. As awful as it is, I am hoping it is a positive sign. 2 weeks to go until my 12 week scan!

onion19632 · 21/01/2014 22:14

Nice to have some good news flymo79, it is great to hear your scan went well x

Feelingfatty · 21/01/2014 22:22

Flymo that's fabulous news, don't feel bad, your news does not make others bad news worse.

Onion I'm glad it's not just me, hoping its a good sign to, I have 3 weeks left to wait Hmm

BunnyBaby · 21/01/2014 22:29

Flymo - great news

Ditto on feeling terrible, it's almost like I have to raise a monumental effort to get everything done in the morning before I collapse at work around 3ish and spend the rest of the day waiting to go home feeling tired, tired, tired..

I know what you mean but you shouldn't feel bad posting good news flymo

Otherwise people who do post bad news may feel uncomfortable doing so but I'm sure we all want everyone to feel comfortable sharing, bad news or good.

I think one of the lovely aspects of this group is that we can both cry with and support those who've sadly had the worst news but also celebrate and be happy with those who've had good news.

ItsSoFluffyImGonnaDie · 21/01/2014 23:01

Fizzy and Misery, I'm truly devastated for you both. FX for healthy happy pregnancies in the futute

BunnyBaby · 21/01/2014 23:09

Flymo, it's great that you had a good scan. And we need good news stories like yours, even more so after the awful news from Fizzy and Misery.

I totally agree with Shak.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow who's having a scan. xx

BunnyBaby · 22/01/2014 09:18

Amazing dream Pina,

When I was in early pregnancy I dreamed I was having a boy, who told me his name, needless to say, that is the name DD1 has.

Pregnancy dreams can be amazing!

Like Flymo, wasn't sure about posting last night, so left it until this morning. Scan went well yesterday, got to see baby twice & saw heartbeat too which was lovely. The whole thing took such a long time - we were at the hospital for three and a half hours! And poor DH was only allowed in for about 5 mins of it! I am still a bit anxious as it's before the 12 weeks but trying to be positive. We DTD last night (first time since BFP) and had a bit of mucus-y bleeding (sorry TMI!) which did unsettle me but I had literally had the conversation with the MW a few hours earlier about my cervical erosion/ectropian and she warned me to expect it so am trying to cling to that! Haven't had any since.

Hope scan goes well today, Pina!

How's the snow, Shak? Did you get a snow day? Grin

babyspice2501 · 22/01/2014 09:25

Feelingfatty · 22/01/2014 09:38

Great news weejo, how many weeks were you at scan? Was it your '12 week one' I'm sure you can relax a bit now if it was and you were close xxx

babyspice2501 · 22/01/2014 09:42

Fantastic news weejo!

NameToBeDecided · 22/01/2014 09:43

I'm sorry again for anyone with bad news, but those who are worried that their symptoms are easing please remember that our placentas are starting to take over and our symptoms will naturally start to reduce about now anyway, it's not necessarily anything to worry about.
We're approaching the 2nd trimester and will start to feel better soon! Grin
