We've now welcomed mini sun, dawn, kat, zazou and selfies (please tell me I haven't missed anyone...)....who will be next?!

Those of us waiting impatiently will be showing down on dates, pineapple, RLT and curry while having awkward whale sex.

It'll happen for you soon champs, hopefully before you get induced. It's wonderful not feeling sick anymore, I'm sure I've put on weight in the last week! That'll be you soon!

rueyrichardson · 18/02/2014 21:37

Hey all. Bugsy are you sure your trickle was not waters? Mine went gradually like that too. We are out of SCBU and are waiting for DD's results for various things to clear. She is very sleepy and feeding only every 4 hours which is having quite an effect on the old boobs Wink! I wish she was awake a tiny bit more so that I could offload, in the nicest possible way. We have named her Primrose. I must say the midwife team at our hospital have been fab - they are really busy but really helpful and supportive. A remarkable difference in styles between them and the special care team who are good too but have a completely different view on baby care. Interesting times.

Litleen, reading your post again, bet your condition has something to do with waters. What does your MW say? Poor you being worried x

Definitely get yourself on Fb page, been invaluable in keeping me sane - much easier seeing notifications as well...

For those who don't know, we had a baby boy yesterday at 3.56am, 6lbs 4oz and were back at home by 9pm last night.

Stressful night and morning but much more relieved and stress free now! Will see what tonight brings! :-)

rueyrichardson · 19/02/2014 01:20

Champagne, I heard a little pop first and then felt a little gush, completely involuntary and warm. Not wee due to appearance etc.. And I just knew, it was instinctive, funny really as I'm not usually great at noticing those things

rueyrichardson · 19/02/2014 01:21

Congrats again Cubano x

LovesToBake · 19/02/2014 02:46

I've slipped off the thread again but seeing as I have a not-yet-24-hr old newborn permanently attached to my boob tonight thought I'd update on here. Rosie was born at 5:16am yesterday (18th Feb), 2 days before her due date. I'd been getting pretty impatient as my DS was born at 37+4 so I'd assumed she would be similarly early. Appreciate I can't complain though as I really feel for those who are properly overdue now. My bump felt so hideously tight towards the end and now I know why - I was hiding a 9lb 1oz baby girl in there! Can't believe it after DS was 7lb 5oz and my scans/measurements had been average throughout this whole pregnancy and my weight gain identical to how I was with DS.

Hi All,
Ladybird looks like we may be ELCS buddies tomorrow though mine is noon. Like you though I feel a bit rough and have sore throat so who knows. Really tired but as you can see from time keep waking up. I'm really uncomfortable down there and constant Braxton hicks so desperate to get her out. Gosh I am nervous to see baby and I are both ok. Wish I could have got my iron levels up more. Good luck Ladybird And anyone else having babies. X

bugsyburge · 19/02/2014 04:36

I have had more of a trickle tonight/ this morning so I'm pretty sure it is my waters....also having what I think are contractions (feels like period pain in my lower back) and they are every 8-10 mins and lasting about 40 seconds......

think this could be it..... hope it isn't a long drawn out affair!!!

laura0007 · 19/02/2014 06:28

Good luck bugsy!!Grin

HopeS01 · 19/02/2014 07:36

Good luck Bugsy, Pops and Ladybird x

rueyrichardson · 19/02/2014 09:55

Bugsy, hope this is it and that you are OK xx

rueyrichardson · 19/02/2014 09:58

Pops and ladybird, hope they don't keep you waiting too long for your sections.

camwombat · 19/02/2014 11:20

champs I had high hopes for you overnight. Get bouncing on that ball, while eating curry and tweaking your nipples.... Then go to bed late tonight just to ensure you are tired going into labour.... Fingers crossed that the next sweep kicks it all off for you.

still got the regular period like contractions but don't see much progression... not sure that baby bug will be putting in an appearance anytime soon Envy

Littleen · 19/02/2014 13:39

Congrats, Cubano! :D

Ruey I do hope it's waters, have so much weight to lose that every pound feels like a disaster -.- My stretchmarks are bleeding from it all! Not much, but even so. Hmm

Good luck with all ELCS/induction/contractions ladies! Sounds like we're in for a busy few days ;)

sunflowered · 19/02/2014 15:11

champs I had the opposite until I finally unsubscribed from the nhs weekly emails... "Week 36 - have you written your birth plan and thought about pain relief in labour?" "No because I'm not bloody pregnant any more [insert expletives and angry sobbing noises]"

Good luck to everyone with babies (hopefully) on the way imminently Smile

Pops78 · 19/02/2014 19:11

Hi everyone, thx for your good wishes. My little girl was born by cs at 2.30 today at 9lbs 4oz. All good and got 1st cs in slot. She is being really good so far, nervous that she will be wailing through the night when hubby gone. :-))
