We've now welcomed mini sun, dawn, kat, zazou and selfies (please tell me I haven't missed anyone...)....who will be next?!

Those of us waiting impatiently will be showing down on dates, pineapple, RLT and curry while having awkward whale sex.

Congrats hope, lovely news! I hoe the stitches recover soon.

Littleen · 16/02/2014 12:54

Ding 39 weeks today!
Good to see so many babies popping out :) Hope I'm not too far behind, I'm getting seriously fed up, reconsidering ever having a second baby! :P
Hope I hope you heal nicely and quickly :) That is a giant baby, isn't it! Hehe :) My cousins was nearly the same at 4,5 kg, but I know my friends' brother was 5,5 kg and 55 cm long!

Sassy20 · 16/02/2014 14:08

Congratulations Hope. That is a big baby and hope you're not too uncomfortable! X

Libee · 16/02/2014 15:06

Many congratulations to Lyndsey, Ruey and Hope. Hope you are all recovering well.

Hats off to Hope to delivering a big baby, don't know how you did it girl but well done.

39+4 today and still no baby I guess am very anxious as bored at home. Finished work Friday and even though it's been 2 days feel like ages, please baby come out, have my 40 week Mw appt on Wednesday so looking forward to it, apart from that no signs of this baby coming out yet!

Pops78 · 16/02/2014 23:28

Hi All, gosh all these babies coming, congrats to all who have theirs already. I am really excited as CS Wednesday but almost done today as was in hospital overnight due to pains. They have mostly subsided but am measuring 44 weeks at 38 + 4!!!! Hope looks like I may be joining you with a healthy size there. After much messing me around they decided to still wait till Wed so no steroids so at home with legs crossed ;-)) nervous of op but I mainly can't stop worrying about my 4 year old while we are In hospital we have made arrangements with my mum/ nursery and neighbour but I can't help worrying she is safe while I am stuck in hospital. It's really stressing me.... Good luck to all labouring this minute x

HopeS01 · 17/02/2014 03:51

Pops, I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday (if he or she let's you wait until then Wink)
Try not to worry about your 4 year old; she is in good hands and you need to be focussing on yourself now Thanks

I'm having another tough night, but this time the euphoria doesn't seem to be as making it any easier.
I'm beyond exhausted; almost into my 70th hour and still only a grand total of 1 hour (ish) of sleep.
My boobs are getting really hard and sore, and this hematoma isn't showing any signs of improvement Blush

Anyone else go through a teary patch? I'm feeling very sorry for myself, stuck in this hospital room without sleep.

Sorry to those still waiting for my miserable post!!!! It is absolutely all worth every single second (but you don't need me to tell you that!!)

Brew Teas all round x

HopeS01 · 17/02/2014 03:52

Sorry * lets not let's
And any other typos. I'm down to my last few brain cells

Bumpiemalumpie · 17/02/2014 03:56

Hope,

I am sat here feeding my fussy 3wk old.

I hospital I went from happy/shout from the roof tops to teary and exhausted/what have I done and back again! It is all very normal and your body just getting used to the changes!

Talk to the night midwives about bf as I found getting it right and having support in hospital was a god send when back home alone in the dark sobbing

misskatamari · 17/02/2014 04:49

Congratulations on all the new arrivals! Grin Hope, don't worry the first few weeks are a roller coaster of emotions. You can expect to end Up sobbing uncontrollably for no reason quite a few times. It's perfectly normal and will get better. Make sure to look after yourself and rest when you can. I found it so much worse when I didn't eat properly and got low blood sugar (even had a really low few hours yesterday with lots of tears at 5 weeks!) - I swear by having bananas on stand by and if you feel low eat on as they give you a real boost.

Eeeek not many more babies left to come now, so exciting x

rueyrichardson · 17/02/2014 08:54

Hi all. Hope everyone is feeling OK . We joined the night feeding gang yesterday with the arrival of our daughter at 2pm, she weighs 7 lb 13. We are of course besotted however she's in special care due to the stress of her arrival (code 1 crash section Smile, possibly one of the most dramatic experiences of my life!) . I'll post the story when all of the babies have arrived. In the meantime I am getting to grips with hand expressing and feeding again, and trying not to nod off every 5 mins. Hugs to everyone playing the waiting game, not long now!

It's totally normal to be teary. It's made worse by lack of sleep or food. I spent most of Thursday crying, after assuring the health visitor I was emotionally stable!

Littleen · 17/02/2014 11:48

Congratulations, Ruey - perhaps you got a future dramaqueen on your hands ;) Glad all is okay in the end though, and hope she will be able to be with you soon!

I hope everyone gets back to normal hormones and moods soon, not looking forward to that bit I must say. Though rather have baby out than in, so the little sleep I get will be half-comfy! :) Oxygen please!

Libee · 17/02/2014 15:23

Wow it's very quiet in here today - these february babies doesn't want to make an appearance. So far only few has delivered. I bet when they will pop out it'll be one after the another I hope

Very bored even it's half term DS is quietly watching cartoons bless day is dragging for me

bugsyburge · 17/02/2014 22:13

40+4 for me, still nothing.... would prefer baby to wait until Saturday now.

seeing the MW tomorrow so would imagine she will want to discuss booking an induction

Ladybird81 · 18/02/2014 00:10

Just in bed for what could be the final time before arrival of baby!
Section is booked tomorrow, and need to be there for 8am, but due to the cold/ cough I have had for weeks I now have a chest infection. So tomorrow may be postponed until she either decides to come herself or the infection as cleared enough by tomorrow to proceed.

Choosing the section was meant to make me feel more in control, I feel so out of control now that they have said they may not go ahead, which is totally fair enough, I'd rather there were no unnessesary risks taken, but I feel anxious and worried now, is that normal????

Anyways congrats on all the new babies, I must get myself ok the Facebook page so I can see all these babies!!
And good luck to all those due or overdue or indeed in hospital already. Hopefully I will update in the morning!

lyndsey90 · 18/02/2014 00:14

What is the facebook group? I've not seen it..

Ladybird81 · 18/02/2014 04:59

It's a group page which is private, I can't remember who it was that was the admin, it could be champs?? But I'm not sure.

HopeS01 · 18/02/2014 05:12

How's everybody doing? Smile no problems with the weather I hope!

Hugo is doing so well. We came home from the hospital today and he managed to sleep from 21:30 - 2:00 (the longest time ever!)
We're back to hourly feeds now but I did manage to have a two hour sleep and it was bliss.

I hope you're all either making some progress towards an easy labour, or enjoying your newborn babies Thanks

HopeS01 · 18/02/2014 05:13

I'd like to join the group Facebook, too Grin

Sassy20 · 18/02/2014 08:03

HopeS01 · 18/02/2014 08:34

Thinking of you today ladybird Thanks

How are things for you, Ruey? How's your baby girl?

I'm getting exciting when I check this thread every morning, sounds like there will be some new arrivals very soon. Hope everyone is feeling okay Brew

bugsyburge · 18/02/2014 09:09

eugh I thought my waters had gone in the early hours but I don't think it they have Envy it turned out to be just a trickle....argh well legs closed until Saturday now!!!

Littleen · 18/02/2014 11:18

Good luck ladybird

bugsy why saturday though? :D

hope glad to hear Hugo is doing well, 21.30 - 2 sounds pretty impressive to me!

I'm soooo anxious now. My measurements went through the roof on my last MW apt, though likely to be because of babys awkward pose in there. I had gained 1lbs in a week, which is a lot for me, as I've been going up slowly! However, after a weekend of yes - slight bingeing, but nothing extreme, two meals out and some cake and candy - but I have gained 3 lbs in 3 days?! And got several new, very sore, stretch marks.. Going to phone MW to see if they can measure again and see wth is going on :( Baby has been bang on average until now, and suddenly in abnormal range!
