CumbrianExile · 14/01/2014 18:40

Sorry to hear that twink. Positive thoughts for next month Thanks

Santa, that sounds like a lovely idea!

Hubbythecatandme · 14/01/2014 18:41

Santababy awww sounds cute!!! Maybe you should offer him a top for babies that says I love daddy!!!
So, so sorry to hear twinkbat, sending you a big hug xx

waffles1990 · 14/01/2014 18:56

Sorry to hear that twinkbat Thanks

I've just thrown up for the first time this pregnancy (do I get anything?) after being in bed all day feeling completely miserable. OH got home from work and made me toast and milk. Actually felt better until 30 min later, stomach rumbled and... well.

Am I the first?? :( surely it's too early to be vomming at 6 weeks. I refuse to have hyperemesis. I also refuse to have twins (that run in both my and OHs family)

SantaBaby01 · 14/01/2014 19:01

Ooh the daddy top idea sounds super cute! Grin

Hubbythecatandme · 14/01/2014 19:13

I was sick at 6 weeks... some poor random people s drive... I had to pull out, hubby when to buy me ginger ale and biscuits and I was sick all over these poor people's drive.... week 7 now and nausea seems gone for some reason, feeling low instead with no motivation to do anything, lovely....

DearDinah · 14/01/2014 19:20

twink so sorry Thanks

Welcome newbies & congrats.
My nausea is getting worse & lasting much of the day, everything makes me feel sick but I haven't been yet, I've got a strong stomach usually so not sure if I will be, but definitely feeling worse. hubby I've lost all motivation too, so tired & CBA to lift a finger (not like me, I'm a clean freak) DH is not really stepping up to the plate with regard to housework, really irritates me, but keeping a lid on it, it's not worth getting wound up over!

BexBoo12 · 14/01/2014 19:22

Cheese toasties are my new best friend, and it's all waffles fault Wink weirdly, I have no nausea etc, but the thought of specific food (strangely, anything not beige which is what someone said in an earlier post) makes me physically gag. Only the thought of it though, does this count for nausea?!

First midwife appointment on Thursday, so very excited!! Also very apprehensive, had a dream last night that when I walked in the midwifed office and poas I wasn't pregnant at all and they laughed at me and fined me for wasting their time Blush i also lost my wedding ring in same dream lol.

Hope everyone is well!! Just about to read back now...

BexBoo12 · 14/01/2014 19:24

Oh ffs I feel a right insensitive fat gob now x

Choccy I've got everything crossed that this is just a bit of implantation bleeding from placenta etc. Let us know how you get on at Fridays appointment Thanks

Twink, I'm so very sorry. I hope you've got lots of support in RL but I'm here if you just need some hand holding xxx Thanks

waffles1990 · 14/01/2014 19:25

Sorry Hubby I do remember you saying now! lol! That's reassuring you feel better now. I do feel better since the up chuck...

Don't feel like a bad mum because of your BMI at all. My mum had a raised BMI for me n bro n sis (in the 40s) and we turned out ok!! she's since lost the weight remarkably and is a size 14 now!!

Moderate exercise and as healthy a diet as u can manage, is perfectly fine. You're trying. The bad mothers are those that continue to smoke 20 a day/ shoot up drugs etc, just because someone's skinny doesn't mean they're healthy, possibly malnourished!

TwosaCrowd · 14/01/2014 19:47

I can barely keep up with this thread!!

Boobs are massive and getting quite sore- not as bad as last time but I suppose as I've breastfed they've already expanded some Grin

Having slight panic over where on earth I'm meant to put baby's stuff. DS has a kiddie wardrobe, full size chest of drawers, then our bedroom has a big (full) wardrobe in it, spare room has two (very full) chests of drawers- there's no room!! Think a trip to ikea for storage ideas is needed!

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 19:53

I was looking at the list up thread and my word there are a lot of us!!! I guess better to have a mega busy thread than a terribly quiet one.

Beccus · 14/01/2014 20:10

twink, so sorry, hope u r getting lots of tlc. choccy, thinking of you, hope everything is ok. not that hungry at the moment, which is not like me at all. Have been craving scambled egg & beige foods, and cooked a lot of salmon the other day, but just can't face it, so trying to make dp and dd eat it so I can have bread & butter

topmammy · 14/01/2014 20:15

Welcome new ladies! Brew (decaf of course ;) )

I really hope everything is ok Choccy Thanks

So sorry twinkbat :( Best of luck for next month! Thanks

Tell you what Bex loads of food I think about makes me want to throw up too. Especially the thought of the rump steak my DH has git in the fridge and keeps suggesting to have for tea. Blllerrggh. A few weeks ago I loved it though! Strange!

Twosa I know how you feel about the space issue. I don't even have any other children yet and I feel like I need one of those magic tents like on Harry potter for extra room lol.

topmammy · 14/01/2014 20:18

*got Blush

broodylicious · 14/01/2014 20:20

choccy, still sending you positive vibes xxx

twink, so sorry to hear your news. Sending you hugs and love ThanksThanks xxx

bex hahaha!! Told you, beige food is the way forward right now Wink xx

Welcome to the newbies. Don't worry about not knowing your AF from your DH, we've all been there! Looking forward to hearing more from you on this ridiculously busy thread as our tummies expand! Xx

Oxlady · 14/01/2014 20:38

Hi ladies! I am 5 weeks and EDD is mid September. My husband and I are super excited! The only symptoms I have experienced so far are really sore boobs and needing to pee often. I have been up every night this week to pee! Congratulations to everyone on this thread, looking forward to sharing our experiences with each other over the next 9 months!

Choccywoccydodah · 14/01/2014 20:52

Twink I am absolutely so sorry, truly one of the worst things anyone has to go through. If you need someone to vent at, pm me, I've been there twice now (so far).

So, my spotting turned pinky earlier but was still only when I wiped, but tonight it's more or less gone. Not feeling any pain, just really slightly cramp like stretching, uncomfy.
Just had dinner and feel really sick now. Hoping all this is a good thing.

Just praying for no more 'blood'. I don't think I could possibly go through this a third time, especially in succession :(

Firstimemum3 · 14/01/2014 20:57

Welcome oxlady I'm a newbie to :)

Hubbycatandme I went to doctors ages ago when I said we were TTC and she didn't say anything then about weight but we'll see what she says tomorrow lol I'm not stick thin. Ooooooo I can't wait to get a proper EDD, I'll be on tomorrow to tell :)

Twinkbat thinking of you.

rockin20s · 14/01/2014 21:12

twink I'm so sorry for your loss!!

I've had light cramps on and off all daty today. I'm taking it as a good sign

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 21:16

Ive had a lot if twinges and pulls. Not quite cramping but a little uncomfortable. I had some dilute pink when I wiped very early Monday am, otherwise so far nothing.

waybuloony · 14/01/2014 22:04

twink so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself and best of luck next month.
Choccy keeping my fingers crossed for you on Fri. Let's hope the next few days are quiet and calm for you.
I had a really groggy day yesterday, literally sat on the couch most of the day. No energy and just overwhelmed with lethargy. Like the worlds worst hangover minus the booze. Oh and my OH made a pork dish with Chinese Five Spice on Sunday and I couldn't get the smell out of my nose no matter where I went in the house...truly revolting although the meal itself was delish!
Today I'm much perkier though. Phew.
Break a leg tomorrow waffles and welcome to all the newbies!

KitKat1985 · 14/01/2014 22:06

Hey just logging on after work and wanted to pass my love onto twinkbat. Really sorry to hear you've had to go through this.

Choccy the spotting you've described sounds more like implantation spotting to me, so don't lose hope yet. I know the wait until Friday will be very difficult for you though and crossing my fingers for you.
