I have not dropped at all is that a sign that I have a while to go yet, is it unlikely for anything to happen until Ive dropped?

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:15

poor thing, so much stress at this stage for you. i'll have my fingers crossed for you

off to do my plants now... wish me luck! hope none of the pervy freaks are out there!

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:17

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:24

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:26

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:28

no i pray its not today but half of me wishes it was so it was jsut over and done with in the nicest possible way

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:29

mines been engaged for 6 weeks too, even dd wasn't down that early. he also turned head down earlier and i felt him move earlier so i'm hoping they're all signs he'll be born early [hopeful emoticon]

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:29

are you haveing a boy i thought you didnt know

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:30

i PRAY each morning that today will be the day! becoming more and more crippled and less able to deal with dd, and ripping my tummy muscles was the last straw. doctor did say i'm ready to go at any point from now on so hopefully.....

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:31

i don't for sure but i hate saying 'it' and i have a strong hunch. was right with dd, not that i care either way, girl would save us a load of money on baby clothes!

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:32

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh i think i'll crap myself when it happens if i dont have a section woke up screaming this morning eith cramp god knows what i'll do

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:36

you'd cope it's amazing how your body takes over if you let it. practice your breathing techniques just in case. and don't stress, things happen the way they do for a reason, if she wants out she'll come out, you can either tense up and make it all much harder on yourself or you can trust your baby and your body to know what to do and get you through it. anyway, first babies are usually slow so you should be fine

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:40

i just wish my anxiety hadnt kicked in its ruining what i was hoping would be a chilled out period before baba comes
and i feel like ive put my finger on what it was that set me off now

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:47

what was it?

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 23:52

the chinese doctor who examined me when we went in to check bab not moving and she examined me and then explained the plan of action and i didnt understand a single syllable that came out of her mouth at all and i remememer saying to chris if this happens when im in labour tellher to fuck off nad get someone i understand

and then when i went to tour round the unit she was there and i got all flusterd and freaked
so im pretty sure its her so if i have a section i wont come into contact with her but if i labour naturally big chance she will be attending

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:55

do doctors attend the births in your hospital? here it's all midwives unless something goes very wrong, i thought it was like that over there too?

even when things got dodgy with dd the doctor didn't make it in until after she was born and all was well again as it was so quick in the end!

eenywifemum · 22/07/2006 23:56

hey!

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 23:57
