Ive been told to get the ones with 4 pads not 2 pads.

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 22:02

the ones with booster controls for the stronger contractions are supposed to be good too

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 22:03

trix1 · 22/07/2006 22:05

I just hope and pray I dont go back on the fags but I know deep down the first night out I will end up having one. Having gone nine months without one and then to give in what a waste!!

Well having been through one very painful labour I think I might get one of these tens mashines as I am hearing good things about them.

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 22:05

yeah, can cope without alcohol coz dp doesn't drink anyway but the fags i miss... alot! especially when dp is smoking and i can smell the damn thing....grrr

dreamydowler · 22/07/2006 22:05

I have to say Ive never tried a tens machine but ive heard theyre good if you use them from early enough so the endorphins it produces in your body have time to build up by the time the hard pain comes. What are you like pink although ive not much room to talk as I havent stopped cleaning too but I know what you mean by still a tip. At the moment everything from the kitchen is in my newly decorated living room and rest of house is a complete mess

trix1 · 22/07/2006 22:06

Dreamy & Pink is that you both nesting????

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 22:08

PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 22:08

dreamydowler · 22/07/2006 22:16

the place was actually in desparate need of decorating but you know what its like one job turns into 300 and with this heat and 5 kids around its been slow going plus my eldest daughters stuff is in boxes ready for uni taking me all my time to stay sain but hoping it will be lovely when finished

Lio · 22/07/2006 22:16

Trix1, my TENS machine came this morning, used it first time around and loved it although I know lots don't rate it. I think it was £25 to hire, did it through mothercare, haven't unpacked it but am guessing it is 4 pads.

Am having Waitrose 1% alcohol as a wine substitute. Also slept on conservatory floor (on top of a duvet) with doors open last night, bliss. Loved the rain today, made me nicer to dh than I've been for ages. (Or is weather-talk banned?)

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 22:16

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 22/07/2006 22:37

i don't think seeing me half naked at the minute would be much of a thrill! i'll sneak out when it's completely dark, less chance of being spotted as our balcony is up a flight of stairs.

can sypathise with the dropped bump booby, mine is so low i have to hold it up half the time because it feels like it's around my knees. LO keeps trying to stretch out poor thing, his bum sticks out one side and his feet the other! keeps getting the hiccups too!

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2006 22:43

its so funny when they get hiccups it make me laugh watching my bump go up and down
