Ohhh I sympathise Gin! It's horrible!

Does anyone else now have freezing feet? Mine are almost painful! They're usually cold but this is ridiculous!

WifeofGru · 28/11/2013 04:23

S1mmy I am so sorry for what you are going through. I am sure everyone on the thread whether frequent/infrequent poster/lurker is moved by your post. These babies are all precious no matter how long they are around for.

Ig so, so sorry. I hope that things turn out less complicated than you fear.

bunglesmum12 · 28/11/2013 04:28

Can anybody else not sleep? It's driving me nuts :(

ohcluttergotme · 28/11/2013 05:28

Me too, been awake since 4:45 Hmm

ohcluttergotme · 28/11/2013 05:32

Just wondering if you can still test at 11 weeks and get a positive?
From 4 weeks onwards I've felt awful and now don't feel as awful.
Instead of being happy I'm so worried something's not right.
Still got to wait til 5th for my scan Hmm

jaykay987 · 28/11/2013 06:12

FX it's your placenta raking over.

I think HPT might work, though I think Gilly mentioned awhile ago only if you dilute your wee a bit as it's too strong to get a reading? Not sure - Im sure someone more sensible will be along!

MrsCharlieD · 28/11/2013 07:08

Hi ladies can i join? Im 11+5 and due 13th June. i had a scan at 10+4 and all ok but too early for the nuchal testing so have another scan on Wednesday. hope everyone is ok and Yey to the end of the first trimester being in sight! X

littlepickly · 28/11/2013 07:12

Have just been googling first trimester average weight gain - oops!! Blush

cheesysmile · 28/11/2013 07:42

littlepicky I know, I did that a while ago. Ive been so hungry though I was obviously going to gain more weight. I'm just hoping that im less hungry during 2nd trimester and can maybe even out the weight gain. Not going to worry too much though.

HannahC1989 · 28/11/2013 07:43

Scan today!!! Yay days finally here... struggling to sleep and eat at the moment. Anybody else having a completely different pregnancy to the last? Xx

cheesysmile · 28/11/2013 07:43

Welcome MrsC!

BEEwitched · 28/11/2013 08:11

Hannah, good luck with your scan!

I woke up about 3-4 times last night and in between had interesting dreams.

Moving men coming with the rest of our stuff today and not much space to put it. Ah well, chaos continues. ..

LadyGoneGaga · 28/11/2013 08:12

Oh don't, littlepickly. Our scales are broken and I know we have some spare ones in the garage...somewhere. But I'm really not motivated to go and find them. I'm a big gainer on pregnancy and my current pork/bacon obsession is not helping. The back fat is a give away though! Grin Apparently though, people who were athletic/under weight to start with will tend to gain quite a lot in the first trimester. Don't know whether that applies to you? Hopefully soon I will get some energy back and start exercising regularly again.

Clutter please don't worry, as Jaykay says it will be the placenta taking over and you should expect to be feeling better. All a pregnancy test will tell you is that you are pregnant. Even if you had mc'ed it would still show a positive as tehre would be a lot of pregnancy tissue still there and a lot of HCG still in your system so save your money. It's really hard not to worry though I know. At least it's only a week til your scan.

I've fallen out with my Mum. I told her, said it was early days and we were keeping quiet. Now she's toldf my sister. I'm pissed off as it's MY news and if had wanted to tell her yet I would have. Rang her to talk about it and she eneded up hanging up on me. And now my sis has had a go at me for "upsetting Mum". I haven't even told MY children yet FFS. And now tehre will be a cold war until I crack and apologise even though I haven't done anything wrong. Frigging families.

MarlenaGru · 28/11/2013 08:29

Sorry lady but that did made me smile as sounds so similar to my mum. She did that last time so this time I told her I was only telling her so if anyone else knew I would not be impressed. Seems to have worked as she only told my aunt after I agreed she could!

Goo luck for today's scans!

dramajustfollowsme · 28/11/2013 08:44

Well I've dug out maternity clothes as none of my usual clothes are comfortable. If things are tight across my stomach, I feel sick.
Some of my leggings are so massive from last time that it is a bit horrifying.
Dd keeps saying there is a brother and a sister in mummy's tummy. Blush We have never said anything about babies at all. I'm hoping she has just been watching the episode of Peppa pig when mrs rabbit has twins. Although, dh's gran claimed to be psychic. Blush

chestnutmare · 28/11/2013 08:44

Hey there everyone! I found out I was pregnant about 3 weeks ago (approx 8 weeks gone by that point Blush so going by the date of my last period am due 20th June, although I have my dating scan a week tomorrow to find out for definite Smile

I had my booking in appointment on Monday which I was a bit nervous about (never been pregnant before!) but the midwife was so nice, it was all fine. Excited about my scan now! DH and I have been trying for a baby for almost 3 years, so it's all still a bit surreal!

Bumblebeesmum · 28/11/2013 09:41

Hannah - my 1st pregnancy was a smooth 1st trimester didn't feel pregnant but I knew I was off to a bad start as I put on 6lbs. The middle & end of my pregnancy was very very hard with all sorts of symptoms & my back was unbearable & I went on to put on almost 6 stone by the end of pregnancy!!

This time I've thrown up (not one feeling of nausea last time) I feel extremely rough, I'm exhausted, miserable & have lost half a stone.

So - for me, so far - my pregnancies are extremely different! I am just clinging on to the hope that if trimester 1 is so different maybe 2 & 3 will be different...in a positive way! I'm also extremely aware of how little it takes for weight to escalate when not active so am trying so hard to keep exercising.

I assume by your question your pregnancy is v different also?

Bumblebeesmum · 28/11/2013 09:42

That's lovely chestnut you must be so happy

cjbk1 · 28/11/2013 09:45

sorry s1mmy ...been there Hmm
ye

cjbk1 · 28/11/2013 09:50

oops-so, I find it easy to get to sleep coz I'm exhausted but if I get woken up thanks dd2 it's hard it get back to sleep my mind is racing, I try to cut down on screen time after dinner now in case it helps...hopefully I won't get restless legs this time Shock

superlambanana · 28/11/2013 09:55

Oh Lady that's so disappointing Sad I can see why you're angry. Could you do a very calm 'I'm sorry if I upset you but I was very upset and disappointed that you had let my secret out' kind of thing? Apologising without accepting blame?!

Dog has just woken me up by barking her head off at some poor bloke delivering a leaflet. She's a soft thing (and can't get to the front door as we have a porch) but it's quite comforting to know that she can scare people off when I'm in on my own!

superlambanana · 28/11/2013 10:41

The Sainsbury's order has come and I now have salt and vinegar square crisps. Oh yes Grin am eating them in bed in the hope I will be able to get up without throwing up again!

panicmechanic · 28/11/2013 11:18

So nervous, I am sitting in the reception of fmc waiting to have the harmony test. I get very wound up at scans and my DH Eurostar is delayed so on my own. Fx

Mitchell2 · 28/11/2013 11:26

Don't stress panic! From what I hear the FMC people are lovely, and it's a simple scan and then they draw some bloods.

Good luck

jaykay987 · 28/11/2013 11:50

good luck panic! Hope it goes well.
