Had a good day today. Long day shopping with DH to carry the bags and buy me lunch! And best of all no sickness! So clearly shopping = good and work = bad. Hmmm....Grin

Hi all, so sorry to hear of some more losses. Thinking of you s1mmy and ig. Today was my booking in. It took about an hour, and midwife was lovely. Due to previous cs I am considered medium risk and will need to see a consultant at some point but was pleased to hear it doesn't rule out a home birth which I'm keen on. Hv been on anti-depressants since August and told mwI wanted to come off them after 1st tri and she was susupportive. All in all it was good, got scan on 7th then next mw appt 8th Jan. All starting to get a bit real..

HannahC1989 · 27/11/2013 19:29

Yeh bellygazing my last was a cs and i had an appointment in feb come through the post to see a consultant. Do you know why this is? I was assured i could go natural this time as it was my little girls heartbeat n position x

cheesysmile · 27/11/2013 19:40

So very sorry s1mmy, i hope you and ur dh have a successful pregnancy very soon Flowers

cheesysmile · 27/11/2013 19:44

Congrats on successful scans and booking in appts Smile Wow Mitchell a girl, congrats!

All the talk of Xmas shopping is making me think I maybe should actually start thinking about it soon. I don't normally start til Dec though so on track to be as disorganised as normal! Grin

ohcluttergotme · 27/11/2013 19:55

Clever I like your thinking, work also makes me feel sick yet when I was having a wander round the shops on Sunday I felt fine!
Cheesy I'm with you, don't normally start til December but for some reason this year it doesn't seem like giving myself enough time.

S1mmy · 27/11/2013 19:58

Thank you all for your kind support, it means a lot rght now when i know we all share the same hopes, dreams and experiences. My dear husband is gutted and it hurts me to see his heart break again. Time will help heal.

I really hope i come back to join another group here sometime soon. Love to you all and best healthy wishes to your bumps xx

GinandStripes · 27/11/2013 20:20

seatfor5 · 27/11/2013 20:21

S1mmy So so sorry to hear of your news x

Bumblebeesmum · 27/11/2013 20:33

Bellygazing I was told highest risk for baby of anti depressants was the 1st trimester as baby is developing there is an increased (but still tiny) risk of heart defects & respiratory problems - then a risk at the v end of pregnancy that the baby will be born with withdrawal symptoms. It might be worth you meeting with a doctor because if you're entering the phase with no risks you could wait or reduce dose more slowly whatever you're comfortable with. Clearly I'm not a Doctor & each type vary so I could be wrong but might be worth checking so you can do what suits you best

Bumblebeesmum · 27/11/2013 20:35

Skim reading lots of pages of posts sorry I missed your post S1mmy - so sorry you're going through this

Sussex31 · 27/11/2013 21:42

S1mmy Sorry to hear your news. That must be devastating.

Finally got a scan date here after some phone calls. 11th December so I'll be 13 weeks exactly (based on current timings).

jaykay987 · 27/11/2013 22:21

Sorry s1mmy. Look after yourself.

MarlenaGru · 27/11/2013 22:41

dramajustfollowsme · 27/11/2013 23:10

Sorry s1mmy. I know how hard it is. I had 3 mcs in 18months before dd came along. Give yourself time to recover. Good luck in the future.

GinandStripes · 27/11/2013 23:30
