Tronbear I am so so sorry Sadheartbreaking. Don't be hard on yourself and focus on you and your partner x

hackneybird · 05/12/2013 16:26

Tron I'm very sorry to hear your news, it must be a real shock. It's awful thing for anyone to experience and it's horribly common. Take some time to grieve and let yourself feel sad.

I had an ERPC following an MMC earlier this year and I recovered from it pretty quickly.

Thinking of you.

CleverOl10 · 05/12/2013 16:34

So fed up of ms. Three times today. Twice I had to run out of lessons to be sick. First day at work this week and already thinking of taking tomorrow off. Bah.

MinaLeeds · 05/12/2013 16:55

Just had my scan! Baby is ok! Cried so much during scan. Was so worried that something might have gone wrong. He/she had a strong heartbeat and a GINORMOUS head. I blame the dad. Confirmed EDD is 10th June. Four days earlier than we thought. So excited. :)

Lmf679 · 05/12/2013 16:58

mina congratulations! That's such good news!!!

chestnutmare · 05/12/2013 17:05

Congratulations Mina! Smile

CleverOl10 · 05/12/2013 17:12

Congrats Mina. We're now due date buddies! Grin

MarlenaGru · 05/12/2013 17:30

Thanks tronbear I am so sorry. Such a horrible experience.

Congratulations mina

BEEwitched · 05/12/2013 17:40

Congratulations, Mina, that's fantastic!!!

I'm sitting here in my new dress, makeup on for the first time in 2 months or so, and should really leave for the Christmas Do, only my leggings are still going round and round in the dryer, and they're the only ones that fit. Grrrr.

ohcluttergotme · 05/12/2013 17:50

TronBear so so sorry. How utterly heartbreaking, my heart goes out to you & your husband.

mina and Liquid fab news for your scans.

I had my scan this morning and very active wee baby seen, the sonographer was doing Nuchal Scan and baby wouldn't stay in right place but meant we got to see the baby for 45 minutes. Baby then fell asleep and she asked me to stand up and shake tummy from side to side to wake baby up, felt sorry for little bubba!

Got to go back next week though as she couldn't get measurements.
My dates been put forward to June 14th but she said may change again next week.

Well done to poster who got pay rise, sounded a good plan to keep pregnancy to yourself.

GinandStripes · 05/12/2013 17:50

21 hours to go. Confused

MTMD · 05/12/2013 18:03

Clutter, how cute!!! And you get to see the baby again! :)

I hope our little one is ready to strike a pose. We need a good picture to show grandparents to be.. :))

But of course first of all I hope all is fine...

ohcluttergotme · 05/12/2013 18:07

I was disappointed we didn't get scan pic today but she said we'll get one next week and she was just trying to focus on measurements. Did feel a teeny bit 'it would only of took her seconds to get one'.
Sorry your still feeling rough MTMD, hope you feel better soon Smile

Zaxter · 05/12/2013 19:35

Hi again,

I came on and said hello a few weeks back but have barely posted again as been feeling so exhausted/sick that mood went completely flat and typing felt like a mission. Am feeling a bit better this week (finally) and have enjoyed catching up on how you ladies are all getting on.

Horrah for all the happy wriggling scans. I am envious. My edd at the mo is 25th June but scan in not until 17th Dec when I will be 13 weeks.

I know it's the minority, but those couple of really sad stories (so sorry Tronbear) have given me the eeby geebies and I am all nervous now. That said, something is going on in there as belly has popped out I am either looking quite pregnant or like I have a beer habit.

Did anyone else with other children get all worried about twins? I have a 13 month old and keep having dreams that it's twins and waking up super worried - I really don't think I could cope.

Clever - So sorry to hear about your sickness still hanging on in there. Am I guessing you are a teacher? I was teaching full time in first pregnancy and know the rushing out of lessons well (I had to tell work at 5 weeks as bunch of five year olds kept getting left with TA poor things as I was legging it to the loo).

Liquidambar · 05/12/2013 20:40

Congratulations Clutter and Mina

Good luck for tomorrow scans. I know there has been really sad news on this thread, but try to relax, the odds are in your favour.

Mina I hope your research is getting better. I also do research and I know how frustrating it can be to recruit participants. My advice is: try your best, think of alternative ways, always have a plan B and C and write it all down to keep a track of everything. If nothing works, oh well... it's not what the sponsors like to see, but it's the reality and we all know how hard it is (unless you work in health where they usually have fantastic response rates!)

Redcliff · 05/12/2013 21:28

Glad to read about the positive scans - congrats. I told everyone at work today. A couple of people were a bit "meh" but most people were lovely with hugs and good wishes. One person told me to cut down on the diet coke (I only have two cans a day and pretty much no coffee) and then told me that she drunk wine the whole time she was pregnant! I have no problem with people drinking if that's what they want to do but felt it was a bit much to tell me to cut down.

Sickness has returned with a vengeance - was really queasy this morning and was throwing up after lunch.

BEEwitched · 05/12/2013 22:37

Clutter, glad to hear the scan went well! They're squiggly things that don't like to do what they're told already.

Given what most of us on this thread are going through you'd hope our babies will all be little angels once they're out!

Vickyvix · 05/12/2013 23:07

Oh tron I am so so sorry to hear your sad news. Life is cruel. Look after yourself and your DP, take time to heal and best of luck to you both in the future Thanks

Vickyvix · 05/12/2013 23:09

Ada congratulations, you must be over the moon. I had a tear in my eye reading your update.

And, seat, so pleased you ha good news. Any bleed is terrifying and I'm pleased you had good news.

Drama I feel for you, that is very bad form from your midwife. Could you maybe ask to see your previous midwife, for personal reasons to do with your history?

Eliza well done on the pay rise! Good timing

Liquid, Mina, clutter great news, you must be relieved

Chestnut I'm like you, feel a bit of a fraud with no ms and hoping it's ok . Best of luck tomorrow

Thanks to the other ladies who also said they have had similar experiences of no ms, it makes me feel slightly less alien!

GinandStripes · 06/12/2013 06:36

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness - it's scan day!

Good Luck MTMD & Chestnut and anyone else I've missed.

x

ohcluttergotme · 06/12/2013 06:46
