glad to hear pram, also very glad to hear mr pram and the meowy-prams are on hand and helping.

Prambo · 14/09/2013 21:30

Moosy, you hit the nail on the head with your list of stuff that is contributing to my stress.

Hottie, my letter said 1:88,000.

I'm sorry some of you have suffered the losses of mums and dads. Gosh, that must be hard Sad

My mum is also my best friend, Moosy, but with that comes the nightmare of us being a blueprint of each other. She thinks I am unbelievably difficult at times but she cannot see that I am the duplicate of her.

i don't know why I'm grinning allover the place that was meant to be on the last post not just a random serial killer face

LyraSilvertongue · 14/09/2013 21:37

Pram, glad your man is making you feel better. Sometimes just a hug and affection and knowing someone is there with you makes everything seem better, doesn't it?

Can you not continue on a low dose of anti-d throughout pregnancy? What are the risks? It sounds to me like the benefit to you of continuing would be worth a tiny risk to the baby. My doc said the risks are negligible but I've cut down anyway, just in case. Not sure stopping altogether would work for me. And I don't know precisely what the "negligible" risk is. Time to consult Dr Google.

I do think it's worth at least enquiring about council and housing association houses. On that How to Get a Council House programme, I'm sure lots of the applicants were working. I think you need to be on a low income to qualify.

LyraSilvertongue · 14/09/2013 21:38

Lol Grey. I believe you Wink

PS to my previous post, I grew up in a housing association house and my parents both worked.

SoSurprised · 14/09/2013 21:41

Prambo glad you are feeling better. Seems like a very tough day

Mummy that is so annoying. Had she turned up yet?

(Serial killer face back at you Grey)

The right house is there for you Pram, you've just not found it yet. 'twas I what first mentioned your DH's work in the context of the house move, but I meant make sure the commute isn't too long so you can pass the baby over ASAP when he gets home see him as much as poss.

Seraphine is a good shout, I'll look into it. Thanks. I'm a bit Hmm about maternity clothes on eBay - I sold some of the stuff I bought last time for more than I paid for it and it seems pretty popular. But maybe I need to take your tack (sorry, was it BNMum?) and restrict searches to the high end stuff. Don't worry about me being competition at the mo as I am too busy for eBay for a while. Thanks though.

lumpylumps · 14/09/2013 21:58

I think the problem with maternity clothes is that they're designed for when you're 6 months + and have a proper baby bump not when you're getting bigger.

AbiBub · 14/09/2013 22:02

Hey all!

pram glad you are feeling better! I was gonna say that dh will jyst have to help more, but I see where you're coming from with his job, so keeping fx it all pans out ok. Put yourself up for going on housing register anyhow, me and dp are on it and he works (low income too) we havent got a place yet but its a comfort knowing we are on it if things get really diar! Depending on the relationship you have with your mum, if you're fairly close then even just having her near will be a comfort so you at least have the choice on whether to see her or not.

ice I too have wardrobe probs, I cant find my old maternity stuff and limited funds too. Clothes way to tight really, started showing earlier this time!

grey im like you im close with my mum too, so having her around is a must. She lost her mun when she was 24 which is why we prob see it as important that we have a good bond.

magpie enjoy the time off before LO comes along, my ds doesnt give me time to be ill!! So deffo make the most of it!

mummypig you give hope to all of us that are still green around the gills with ms atm! Hope you get the neighbour thing sorted!

lumpy yayh to the shopping matetnity clothes so much more comfy, enjoy! Nausea sucks huh! Hopefully the mat clothing will help ease that with being looser! :0)

Thanks pain let's hope getting past the first trimester will bring less ms eh!!

pirate hope the cold goes soon! I too am a SAHM so didnt have ds go to nursery so know what you mean about time off!

gawj glad pup a bit better despite the stained fur!! Hope the gagging goes soon for you!

comms how was the house? There is hope after all, in normal non pg me onions and garlic cause nausea tge next day, but ms is just horrid!!

Raspberry coco pops gor breakie, im jealous!! Cant stomach milk in morning atm so its wheatabix with hot water and two spoonfuls of sugar for me :0 ( hope the skype call was good, enjoy baby stuff hunting tomorrow!

wonder im 12 weeks also hope the nausea goes soon!!mines worse in the morning, wad sick this morning with nothing! ! Was yuk! Mmmmmm biscuits, I can only have rich tea atm but they have to be the brand ones!!

imeg I really hope it goes soon for you, with my ds mine lasted till 16weeks but not as sicky as this time, so there is hope for you im keeping fx for you! !

Thanks baking that makes me feel better, , there is hope afterall!! :0)

Phwef, I know ive made this a long post but wanted to for this one at least even if I xant for many others! !

liberuna · 14/09/2013 22:11

Ice I need the same , smart suits for work - Got some nice mamas and papas adjustable trousers which are amazing. Really good quality material and will suit till I get reasonably larger bump. Jackets have never really suited me so i get bolero type things.

RE neighbours. Can you leave it under front door mat?
I'm sorry, do they think we have nothing better to do than wait around. :( Next time put a friendly restriction on what they ask. eg. I can wait till 8pm but then I'm unavailable so where would you like me to stick the key where the sun don't shine may or may not be an option

Pram nice to see you back, with all of that going no wonder it's a challenging time. Hope you get home ok

AbiBub · 14/09/2013 22:11

Ahhh mat clothes on ebay, hmmm worth a thought, trouble is when on ebay I get drawn to all the lovely Radley purses I want!! Grin

pram cat lover eh, I have 2 which have to stay at mums atm and I miss them. I find stroking them really helps calm me (no pun intended!!) Apparently they release positive endorphins into the atmosphere when you stroke them! What breed are yours?

Coolhand · 14/09/2013 22:20

I bought Isabella O stuff off eBay last time. Re-sold it when done so worked out good value.

Grumpy with DH. He was cutting hedges all afternoon, I took DS out for an hour long walk and ended up getting light headed, too far from home - had to sit on pavement with head between legs, fighting the urge to be sick. Didn't have my mobile on me so had to struggle back home. Came in, ashen grey and he had just sat down to watch cricket. Told him I needed him to take over with DS, while I made dinner and he was in a right mood. When I told him what had happened over dinner, he just ignored me, no comment, nothing. Total grrr.

Anyway, I've my mum close by and she's brill - DS loves her as well. I really appreciate when she can step in and she's good at knowing when to disappear!

Coolhand · 14/09/2013 22:26

Oh and I'll give you all a laugh. I bought a bellydancing/pregnancy DVD today. Have been struggling with back pain and it was recommended by a friend who swore it helped her through labour also. I think a lot of the hip moves look similar to the kinds of things you do in pregnancy yoga. Anyway, I'll give anything a go. Gullible, me, never...

Prambo · 14/09/2013 22:30

Yes, yes and yes to pussy-stroking for immediate succour, Abi.

Mummy, your neighbour is a horror. You poor thing, being stuck with doing her favours, the scumbag ingrate that she is. I wish I lived around the corner, I'd kick her head in for you Smile

Ice, I get your drift re shorter DH commute = less chance of my hanging from the bannister when he gets home. I'm on it....

Ice, I also think you should treat yourself to the £150 suit for work. I know it's expensive, but I think you'll get your money's worth with the bonus of feeling good about yourself.

Lyra, you cuddling them lads? Sorry your DP looks like Quasimodo Grin I did actually send off my social housing ID t'other day, so we shall see...
...I was down to 5mg crumbs of tablet which I snipped with pill-cutters. I agree that my mental health has to come first if this baby is going to see its 1st birthday...

Prambo · 14/09/2013 22:32

Coolhand, good luck with that! ConfusedGrin

Wonder77 · 14/09/2013 23:31

Ok thanks for the advice pirates :)

Wonder77 · 14/09/2013 23:34

I feel like I might feel movement. But ci
Old be trapped wind ( which I have an abundance of!) surely too early to feel anything?

Wonder77 · 14/09/2013 23:35

could

LyraSilvertongue · 14/09/2013 23:51

How far along are you and is this your first?

AbiBub · 15/09/2013 00:03

wonder I thought I felt flutters the other day, but then put it down to wind!!! I think its because I think its too early to feel but my mum said that if you're quite in tune with your body then she thinks its possible. This is my second dc and I am quite in tune with my bod so maybe we have been feeling the little beans move after all! ! :0)

coolhand hope the bellydancing goes well :0)

pram pussy-stroking lol!!

MummyPig24 · 15/09/2013 04:08

Thanks pram. I don't mind doing people favours at all, but I get annoyed when they take the piss. She said she would be back as soon as possible (at 2 o clock) and then said she wouldn't be back till 11. So I rang her and said I would put her keys in her shed. I still don't feel great in the evenings and need a decent amount of sleep to get through it, plus my kids are not laying in types, they will be up by 7.

I haven't even attempted maternity clothes yet. My jeans still fit and my leggings stretch! I'm so skint I can't afford maternity clothes, but I do need to find some money for bras soon.

Wonder77 · 15/09/2013 05:21

I'm 12 w - no.3

rescoonetwothree · 15/09/2013 05:50

Back to not sleeping again, exhausted. 15 weeks today blah.

Coolhand · 15/09/2013 07:22

Wonder pretty sure Lyra felt no 3 from 12 weeks.

I felt baby on and off for a week and a half but haven't felt anything in ages. Baby must have moved in there. I have m/w appnt on Tuesday so will hear the heartbeat then for some reassurance!
