Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Flyer747 · 14/09/2013 19:21

I'm going out Confused really don't want to and I'm well Jel of you lot staying in watching X factor and having takeaways. It's Mary our cleaner her granddaughters 21st birthday party, I can't wait to be surrounded by a load of skinny scouse 21 yr olds who will be pissed no doubt!

Soupqueen · 14/09/2013 19:23

All food kicks off my heartburn so there doesn't seem any point in avoiding what I fancy!

Broccoli and Stilton soup with crusty bread here, followed by chocolate ice cream.

cuille, my bump seems smaller than everyone else's too (and actually invisible to my fellow bus passengers....) but is measuring bang on. Weird.

Nellysgirl · 14/09/2013 19:27

My bump was quite small until about a week or so ago. Turns (no pun intended) out that baby was back to back.
Now it's flipped and engaged I'm getting asked if iv got another one in there now Confused

MrsHoratioNelson · 14/09/2013 19:30

Well I was feeling quite proud of myself but now I feel I'm letting you all down with my dinner - we're having dressed crab wot I dressed all myself, home made bread from a packet mix and salad. Possibly followed by caramel pannacotta "a la posh" as DH calls it - that's pannacotta from the supermarket but turned out, rather than eaten out of the plastic pot Grin

I decided we might as well make the most of our last few child free weekends Smile

To be honest, we've been eating loads of fish because its easier on the old reflux. At least that's

Smitten1981 · 14/09/2013 19:42

Good to hear about the fish being better for reflux. DH has just gone to get fish and chips for tea, ha ha. Grin

I'm so going to have to sort out my diet next month! Appalling.

cuillereasoupe · 14/09/2013 19:46

DP is cooking some stir-fried veg concoction, which is what he does every time he cooks (about once a month). He's just nearly had the tip of his finger off chopping the carrots.

OrangeBlossom2 · 14/09/2013 19:48

DP has made pizza dough and been throwing it around the kitchen. They look really yummy!

Natalieand · 14/09/2013 19:49

I'm jelous of all your take aways we just had oven crap tonight (asda curly fries) which may I add we're vile they were rock hard even though they werent even a tiny bit burnt so I'm still hungry. How disappointing!

Glad I didn't offend flyer

Could only be just a week or so away for u then rachel xx

Funny u say about bump sizes usually I have my bump band on when I see my mum but yesterday she dropped something off so I went outside in my track suit bottoms and best top and she commented they I didn't look anywhere near as big as I did with dd which I like the sound of as dd was 8.8lbs at 39+5 so I can be hopefull for a smaller baby lol I wonder who is gunna have the biggest baby on the thread? X

OrangeBlossom2 · 14/09/2013 19:50

DH even. Just unmarried myself!yum yum sounds like we are all having good dinners tonight. I hope the babies squeeze out of the way to make room!

Been sitting on my birthing ball for hours knitting and watching dexter, now my tummy and back are quite sore. I didn't realise quite how much adjusting you must do to stay on it.

Tarlia · 14/09/2013 19:51

Sounds like its a DP cooking night - mine cooked a leek potato and bacon pie.

OrangeBlossom2 · 14/09/2013 19:52

Well done men!

TheFalconsmistress · 14/09/2013 20:01

I had an hour or two if contractions early on but nothing since which I am glad of. Thank you so much nellys I am sorry you are going through this too but it is nice to know I am not alone day 6 for me. I am really hoping it either stops now till due date or when she wants to ACTUALLY arrive!

Take out for me I think too!

This thread has been a lifesaver for me in this rollercoaster pregnant I could not get by without All your support thank you xxxxxxxx

Soupqueen · 14/09/2013 20:04

Jealous of all the men cooking. I am semi seriously worrying about us all dying of malnutrition in the early days when I'll largely be reliant on DH!

Warlin · 14/09/2013 20:07

I'm having tuna steaks, with fried rice and courgette...dh's speciality. Have walked the legs off myself today so aching!

Natalieand · 14/09/2013 20:29

We went with Domino's pizza and watched Midwives on iPlayer - sheesh, that was emotional. Put in context just how lucky I am to be both pregnant and healthy.

Big supportive hugs, Falcon and Nelly - can't believe you're entering a second week of labour.

Hope all PE ladies are feeling ok, tonight.

claphammama · 14/09/2013 20:33

cooking partnership with DP tonight here - sea bream with Thai sauce, cous cous and salad.

warlin love the sound of your meal. how does he make it?

haha cuille I'm sure your DP meant well. Men can be so funny!

orange your lazy day sounds lovely. I had a massive walk today - all the way from my house to that Vietnamese restaurant on Lavender Hill you went to once. Mien Tai - do you remember? thought their Pho deserved the walk!

Natalieand · 14/09/2013 20:34

Sorry no idea why it reposted that like half an hour later lol Hmm

claphammama · 14/09/2013 20:38

missed some posts earlier

mrsO glad DH is acting better! fingers crossed it lasts!

hayle enjoy your relaxing DD-free evening. Who knows when we can have DC free evening next

and rachel haircut is my top priority for next week. And a bikini wax! :-)

MotherOfNations · 14/09/2013 20:38

I love the sound of your dinner Clapham. I love fish but Dp won't eat any fish apart from haddock which I find very strange for an ex fisherman. He successfully put my whole family off of cod by telling us it's full of worms.

Tarlia · 14/09/2013 20:38

Oh my goodness midwives made me cry. It brought that feeling of waiting for baby to cry crashing back. I really hope I do not have to go through that again. She had been on such a journey too so there was that added emotion.

Agreed, good work DP/H's

Warlin · 14/09/2013 20:39

clapham he sears the tuna steaks in chilli oil with some chilli on top (we like food spicy!) and fries courgette pieces in chilli too. Serves with a soya sauce and wasabi dip and fried rice. Really simple but yummy!

Jealous of your Vietnamese too!

MrsHoratioNelson · 14/09/2013 20:43

Also jealous of your Vietnamese Envy

We went last year and there isn't a Vietnamese restaurant for about 100 miles Sad

Tarlia · 14/09/2013 20:47

Ooohh, Mien Tai, drool. Is Bombay Bicycle still going? Delicious.

notsoold · 14/09/2013 20:55

Impressed with the dinners here!!!
As I am full of a cold ( not even able to breathe properly) dh prepared dinner ( a nice, well cooked stew)....with mash and veggies
Ds then put his portion back in the hob added pepperoni, chilies and some cheese on top ... And it also tested fine!!!
I hope they survive as well when baby comes!!!
