Congratulations legally! Glad it went well - I'm very jealous that you're now able to have cuddles with your babies Grin

Slippysnow · 12/09/2013 14:38

I think you could be next kelly very exciting! Not long left

Racheld33 · 12/09/2013 14:48

Congratulations legally

So happy for you and your family xxxxxx

Sparkeleigh · 12/09/2013 14:59

Congrats legally!! That's such wonderful news and beautiful names Grin FlowersCake

Great news warlin! I'm quoting from my antenatal class here, which admittedly was tongue in cheek, but it was something like "have a bath in clary sage oil, while drinking raspberry leaf tea, get out of the bath and have your DH dry you, then jump him for his 'contribution', go for a very long walk and come back to a hot curry and more jumping of DH"
Do let us know how it goes if you decide to try it Grin

Falcon will keep my fingers crossed for you, I hope it all kicks off soon!

Congrats slippy! I'm in awe of you graduating while pregnant!

MotherOfNations · 12/09/2013 15:04

Great news on baby turning Warlin.

Hopefully not too long to wait now Falcon

My appointment at the fetal medicine unit went well. They are happy for me to stay at the other hospital so really pleased about that. They've said that my baby shouldn't need too much time in intensive care so I'm feeling pretty positive.

tuckingfits · 12/09/2013 15:07

SC - 35+4.

After the hassle of sorting out my work situation receded on Tuesday night,I woke up yesterday feeling a bit like I had a cold coming. Over the course of the day it developed into sinusitis & I feel horrendous. Barely slept last night, have had appointments for DS with dietician & I'm just home from midwife appt. I'm going to bed for a bit. DP has had a wisdom tooth at at the hospital today, and is driving himself home as we speak,I think we'll be a pretty miserable household this evening.

Baby is a little bit engaged (I think she's more engaged than midwife says because she didn't have a very good feel & I can't imagine the excruciating cervical scraping & bouncing pain being caused by something that isn't desperate to get out!),I am measuring at 32 weeks apparently (why then are people commenting on how massive I am Hmm),thankfully my blood pressure remains at the low end of normal & I'm not sure what else to tell you!

I hope everybody is feeling as well as they can & that nobody else is as miserable as I am with this sinus thing & sore throat & constant unquenchable thirst. Am a right misery guts today :(

tuckingfits · 12/09/2013 15:11

MoN great news for you & Eliana! I'm so pleased. Now,stop shunting furniture around at 35wks pregnant will you?! Probably not the best idea you ever had, especially when you are concerned about back pain/labour kicking off. Lecture over... For now ;)

Wickedgirl · 12/09/2013 15:12

Well done slippy. I couldn't have done a degree whilst being pregnant

Fab news warlin, lets hope baby is comfy now

Huge congratulations legally their names are lovely and I'm sure the babies are gorgeous too

MoN That's good news......I hope it makes you feel a bit better about everything

falcon Not long now then hopefully?

I had my 36 week check today......all good and baby is head down still. They took more bloods as they need to check that my iron levels have improved with the tablets otherwise I can't use the MLU as my iron levels were too low last time they did my bloods. Sad

MotherOfNations · 12/09/2013 15:23

I know tucking I'll get another lecture when Dp gets in. Complete rest for the rest of the day for me.
Feeling so much better wicked. The cardiologist said I should be able to get some cuddle time before baby is whisked away so I'm feeling a lot happier. My midwife had said at my last appointment that I won't be able to have skin to skin until I'm in recovery.

claphammama · 12/09/2013 15:24

great news warlin! wow - he really waited until the last minute didn't he? Please stay where you are baby

and great news MoN, must be such a relief

bowlfull... I really think you should pack your hospital bag now... Smile

roxvox · 12/09/2013 15:24

I give up with this phone. I always wondered how so many people managed to post twice. Now I know.

MotherOfNations · 12/09/2013 15:32

I hope your iron levels have improved wicked and that you get the birth you want.

BowlFullofJelly · 12/09/2013 15:38

HotSoupDumpling · 12/09/2013 15:45

Ahhhh Thanks Legally!!! And thanks for the realistic appraisal of your ELCS, it helps manage my expectations.

Warlin, good baby, well done for turning upside down!

Smitten - I also tried perineal massage this week. Was FACKIN OUCHY!

I've also got a very blocked nose. I'm pretty sure it's one of the things stopping me from sleeping.

cazboldy · 12/09/2013 15:47

Great news mon Smile

and you too Warlin

really hope it's good news for you too wicked

and hope willow decides to come out soon falcon

Natalieand · 12/09/2013 16:10

falcon literally the biggest waiting game ever for u then! Come on willow x

warlin excellent news that baby turned just in the nick of time, lets hope little one stays put until the big day :-)

MoN excellent news that u can stay at your hospital of choice and get to have a bit of skin to skin before Elianna is whisked away

Was it diege who had a placenta scan today? Hope that went well for u 2

bowlful no hospital bag Hmm naughty naughty get packing! I haven't quite finished mine yet but I'm only 35+3 so I still have time

wicked hope your blood results come back with a decent iron count for u xx

Slippysnow · 12/09/2013 16:18

warlinglad baby spun :)
mon good news for you :)

I have a question, does anyone know or been told at what gestational age would a baby not need to go into an incubator(and stay in hospital) I know a lot depends on the individual child. But for those who had a baby early/before 40 weeks what was your story?

Shirehobbit · 12/09/2013 16:37

I am so breathless today. It feels like the little monster baby has jammed its bottom right under my rib cage.

Natalieand · 12/09/2013 16:41

slippy dd was born at 39+5 with no need for any extra care (I no that's pretty close to 40 weeks so probly not kind of answer u were hoping for anyway)

My sister had her dd 9 years ago at exactly 38 weeks she only weighed 5lb but had no extra care x

PseudoBadger · 12/09/2013 16:46

DS was born exactly 38 weeks. He was in NICU but for another reason. Not much use sorry!
