Ok I've reported that. Get off our Fred!

Glad to be of help Jeff. I can't believe you may well have your baybee tomorrow! :) ??

Pink I know what you mean. We had a few weeks of Faithlet sleeping through from 10-6 but not for several weeks now. Technically she 'slept through' last night from 8-3 but I fed her til 3.30 and never really got back to sleep. After dyno-rod Thursday and recovering from anaesthetic my sleep patterns are am over the shop!

Today is DNephew's birthday party. I'm excited - we started TTC when he was 4mo so for the last 4 years we were childless at his parties. Last year I was diffed but still keeping it secret. Today we can take our baby! :)

pinkr · 22/09/2013 09:20

Oh poor wee pink ended up screaming so much last night she stopped breathing sort of. I was in years too as she was obviously so upset...she obviously had really bad trapped wind as she's had a massive blow out and she's back to normal again. It's awful not bring able to do anything for them.

Oh and todays the bridesmaid dress fitting...ok actually back to pre pregnancy weight but not shape, still got an odd overhang. They're going to have to cut a size 22 down to a 12...going to cost a fortune.

HadALittleFaith · 22/09/2013 10:24

We'll that's a risk your sister took when she asked you to be bridesmaid so soon after you gave birth. I am the same - actually a bit heavier than when I got diffed Blush but figure is radically different. I've borrowed a couple of fitness DVDs from my sister that are 20 minute bursts (Davina fit and the 30 day shred!) to try to change things.

How is bridezilla your sister?!

Nokkie73 · 22/09/2013 11:31

Morning all

I just wanted to wish jeff all the very best of luck for tomorrow. It's really exciting that you will have your little minijeff tomorrow. An actual baybee.....Wow ! So, do you have an inkling what you're having ? Come on, let's see if a mum's instinct is actually right (apparently 70% of mums who have an inkling what they're having are right, pop pickers).

frank I had my first Lazy Daisy class a week or so ago. It was the couples class, which was great, but for the fact I had a funny turn when the lady started talking about how some people have their placenta turned into tablets, or into into a cake, or how some fry it and eat it. How fecking DISGUSTING. I had to go outside. Twice. It made me feel all funny, the thought of turning his big bloody livery the mass into afternoon tea, of a light supper. Ironic really, seeing as I was absolutely fine about the actual birth itself. I found the class really informative, not too judgy, not to woo but enough to give me helpful tips to see if I can manage labour without intervention. Equally, if I need some intervention, it gave me tips about what questions to ask and how to cope with it if it happens. The most important thing I came away it's was a sense that you're not a failure if you can't do the natural labour thing and need a bit of help along the way - something (based on anecdotal evidence from others) I am not convinced NCT gives you. I start my weekly classes on Tuesday, so I'll let you know how they are if you like ? I also have just come back from a few days at a beautiful hotel overlooking Cheltenham Racecourse. What a totally lovely part of the world.

pinks I am sorry wee Pink is having a dose of the windy pops. Poor little thing. Apart from having that, she sounds as though she is doing really well. How are you feeling ?

gin I am not sure if we have met but...hello ! I was really sorry to hear sorry to hear about your loss in the week but am also glad that the remaining cub is doing well in there. Being further along than you first thought is always a winner too. I hope you are ok.

faif I hope the four year old rave goes well this afternoon. It's always nice that you can go along to these sorts of do's without all of the old feelings of barrenness making you feel like poo. I hope you don't have a totally uncontrollable sugar high tonight !

Hi to everyone else. I am 26+1 today. God only knows where the time has gone.....

Noks xx

Ginfox · 22/09/2013 12:58

Pinkr I'm sure you've already got this covered, but I had a wedding to go to when foxcub was 9wks, so went to a proper independent lingerie shop (first time ever, how grown-up!) and got some serious underwear to hold things in and smooth things out. Made me feel a whole lot better about going to the wedding (although in an ideal world I wouldn't care that I wasn't back to pre-baby shape by 9wks, ffs!)

All the best for tomorrow Jeff, and happy snuffling with minijeff.

pinkr · 22/09/2013 19:41

My sister is actually a lot calmer this week and quite a bit more understanding...she totally loves little pink! The dress fitting went well...she pinned and tucked and it looked fine! I have a waist again which was nice Grin
Fed today several times on front off my Dad and although he made noises he didn't leave the room! Hr did steadfastly look the other way though...I'm not feeding my baby in a toilet or aything at the wedding so he'd better deal with it now!

Oh and of course all the best for tomorrow Jeff..can't wait to see pics of your snugly little bundle! You're going to be a mummy this time tomorrow...enjoy every minute and try to get a good rest tonight!

JethroTull · 22/09/2013 20:29

Pink glad your dress fitting went ok & that your sister is a bit calmer!

Thanks everyone for the nice words - it's all a bit surreal. I'm sat watching X factor eating cheese on toast thinking this time tomorrow I'll have a baby. Mind blowing.

FrankelInFoal · 22/09/2013 20:40

Get a good night's sleep Jeff! What time is your check-up to decide whether or not to go ahead?

HadALittleFaith · 22/09/2013 21:35

pink that sounds positive! My Dad was like that to start and seems fairly comfortable with it now.

Nokkienokkienoo! So nice to see you! 26 weeks already, that's flying by to me Erm one ESH did have her placenta made into tablets...

Hope you get some kip jeff! Keep us posted when you can! :)

JethroTull · 22/09/2013 21:39

Have to be at the hospital at 7.30am. MiniJeff is definitely still bum down, I can feel its head, shoved firmly under my ribs!

MsJupiterJones · 22/09/2013 23:13

Good luck Jeff!

HadALittleFaith · 23/09/2013 06:45

Good luck jeff! ;)

FrankelInFoal · 23/09/2013 06:49

Good luck Jeff, I'll be waving my pom poms & wearing nipple tassels (under my work clothes Wink) for you Grin

SinkyMalinks · 23/09/2013 07:45

Good luck Jeff Grin

FrankelInFoal · 23/09/2013 09:19
Wink
SinkyMalinks · 23/09/2013 09:54

The PESH demand an update!

Good luck jeff! !

Go Jeff!

Pinkr it must be weird for a Dad, seeing their own little girl bfing her own baby. When he looks at you he prob doesn't see an adult IYSWIM, so a bit of a shock that you've got massive boobs out and all Smile

FrankelInFoal · 23/09/2013 17:55

Any news????!!!!

HadALittleFaith · 23/09/2013 19:05
FrankelInFoal · 23/09/2013 19:22

Uh ut of interest, did any PESH try the Chinese calendar predictor thing for their baby's gender? It's totally woo (based around the mother's age and the due date), but a bit of a larf. It's told me girl, so I guess we'll wait and see!

HadALittleFaith · 23/09/2013 19:27

Ha just did it, apparently I'm having boy! Hmm Grin have you tried the thing where you hold a ring on hair over your bump? Will you find out at your 20 week scan Frank?

FrankelInFoal · 23/09/2013 19:37

We're leaning towards not finding out tbh, though that might change between now and 15 October! Can you do the ring thing to yourself or does someone else have to do it?
