Communion wine is alcohol free? Surely not! I will have to look into this matter.

PramelaAftersun · 24/07/2013 14:44

MTB, the pessaries are to be used until the twelfth week of pregnancy, as are the daily injections of Clexane (a blood-thinner). My belly is so bruised and peppered with needle marks I look like a smack-head.

I hate weddings and resolutely refuse to go to them. I'm not a meanie; I'm a very generous-spirited person but I despise the vast amounts of cash splashed at these things which all end up looking the same as the one before it. I find talking to boring people agony and the conversation at weddings are usually a crashing bore. I despise hats, crowds, DJs and buffets, wild kids on dance floors, anything by Robbie Williams, and queueing. It doesn't help that I've more than likely slept with the groom twenty years ago Hmm

MTBMummy · 24/07/2013 14:46

Ahhh - have had a quick look and it appears Catholics insist on Alcoholic wine, where as Methodists, Pentecostals and Baptists drink non alcoholic wine

**Disclaimer my aunt and uncle are Methodist ministers so growing up i was exposed to a lot of their views on life as it should be

impatientlywaiting · 24/07/2013 14:48

MTB where do you want us to put our locations? I'm in Newcastle.

MTBMummy · 24/07/2013 14:55

Pram well hopefully you'll be able to enjoy a bit of reciprocation for all the tip wanks once you get to the 2nd trimester Wink

DP and I were roughly planning our wedding (no date set) and we both agree with your views - so we've gone for something completely different, but perfect for us. MiL is getting more and more wound up by each decision, but as we are paying for it, I've told her she can either keep quite and join us to celebrate or she's welcome to not attend. FFS I've even made allowances for her stupid dogs that go every where with her - but that's another thread altogether

MTBMummy · 24/07/2013 14:59

Thanks Impatiently

I'll update the stats list later (or rather post the updated list later) so if more people want to add their location I don't end up putting 20 new posts today

but.... drum roll....

FoxMulder · 24/07/2013 15:03

MTBMummy · 24/07/2013 15:15

Wink
Wuxiapian · 24/07/2013 16:50

Great idea, MTB!

I'm in Birmingham.

mimili · 24/07/2013 17:20

The map is a good idea. I have PM'd my location.

Have had a horrible metal taste in my mouth for two days now. Everything tastes of metal - urgh!

In regards to the wedding, Thank you all for your comments. I decided to go with the tooth/gum infection. I figure this is discrete enough and we only have to tell the couple we are sharing a cab with. I might have a sip of champers for the toast and will just hold on to the glass for as long as I can!

Counting down the days to the 12 week scan (once I know when it is). Am 6 + 2 now if my calculations are correct. Have my booking in 2nd week of Aug, so hoping scan will be three weeks after that which seems to be the average.

Coletterbox · 24/07/2013 17:54

Just saying a quick hello as I haven't been on in ages. Hope everyone's well! I'm off on hols tomorrow and although I'm slightly nervous about feeling awful for early flight, I can't wait to have a week in the sun, splashing around in the pool with my family!

FrankelInFoal · 24/07/2013 17:54

Oooh, look at us with our high-tec map Grin

I feel really yucky today. The nausea is pretty much constant now and eating now only relieves it for 20 mins or so. The one thing that has been my saviour is Ryvita Thins Flatbreads. They're only 37 calories apiece and munching in them seems to work like eating dry toast when you've been sick.

charley33 · 24/07/2013 18:06

mtb map looks fab - Im Leeds xx

HotCrossPun · 24/07/2013 18:12

MTB - You are such a bad-ass map maker! Grin

Glasgow for me, I've no clue how to add it on.

OnTheRunFromTheAcademe · 24/07/2013 18:20

MTB wow! I'm in Leeds as well Smile

impatientlywaiting · 24/07/2013 18:24

Where can I see the map?

Coolhand · 24/07/2013 18:41

MTB loving the map! Belfast will do for me - it's close enough. Not sure what I do to add myself in.
