MortifiedAdams · 24/07/2013 19:11

I'm technically gateshead

charley33 · 24/07/2013 19:28

Might see you in the hospital then ontherun

MummyPig24 · 24/07/2013 19:32

I couldn't see the map when I clicked on the link. I'm in Berkshire.

My very good friend told me this evening that she has breast cancer. So sad!

Sarahb8990 · 24/07/2013 20:04

So sorry to hear about your friend mummy pig.

Well today morning sickness has hit like a ton of bricks! Can't keep anythin down for more than 20 mins!
Anyone got any good tips on what to try to keep somethin down?

How is everyone else doing?

Lambchop14 · 24/07/2013 20:11

How do I update my stats. Sorry, I'm hopeless at this website stuff x

Lambchop14 · 24/07/2013 20:13

Also how do I see the map that everyone is talking about? Feeling left out... :(

impatientlywaiting · 24/07/2013 20:50

Mortified I am actually Gateshead too, usually just say Newcastle though as more people know it.

impatientlywaiting · 24/07/2013 20:52

Lambchop the link to the map is on the previous page, about a quarter of the page down in a post by MTB

floatyflo · 24/07/2013 20:53

Evening allllll!

Haven't been on for while and my, how quickly the thread has moved!

Sorry im not up to date on all the going ons, too many pages to read through quickly. Hope everybody is well and all pregnancies are going strong. Just over seven weeks here. Feeling tired and sluggish, but happy and well. Although nausea comes on in waves throughout the day, and have greasy skin, yuk!

My dsis is also pregnant, according to dates we conceived on same weekend! Its her first so its all new to her :)

MortifiedAdams · 24/07/2013 21:00

Ahh brilliant! Might well bump into you inthe QE!

floatyflo · 24/07/2013 21:11

Oooh btw I'm near Cambridge, will be using the Rosie at Addenbrookes, so can you add that to the map? :)

FrankelInFoal · 24/07/2013 21:17

Ooooh, Floaty, that makes 3 of us so far for the Rosie Grin

floatyflo · 24/07/2013 21:37

Oooh really! I'm an undecided between a home birth or the new flash birth centre at the Rosie. I've heard its very naive. When pregnant with my son they had the plans on a board in reception. Was rather jealous it weren't already built at the time Grin

floatyflo · 24/07/2013 21:38

Bearing in mind all goes well during pregnancy of course! :)

JBrd · 24/07/2013 21:47

Oooh, another Cambridge person

Who knows, we might all be in the same village Grin

FrankelInFoal · 24/07/2013 21:51

Maybe we should start talking in code to figure out where we all are Wink

Nice to know there are others out there for future potential coffee and cake scoffing mornings Grin

IceNoSlice · 24/07/2013 22:05

Evening all.

Had a craving tonight. For cheese (luckily the allowed kind, cheddar!) Why can't I have healthy cravings like carrots and apples like the person up thread (sorry can't remember who). Going to be the size of a house!!

impatientlywaiting · 24/07/2013 22:11

Mortified is this your first baby?
My sister had a baby at the birthing suite in the RVI and it was lovely, so I think I'll try and go there too. It's also closer to my house than the QE anyway, I'm based in Blaydon.

Only thing is, in the RVI birthing suite you can't have an epidural - eek.

MortifiedAdams · 24/07/2013 22:33

Its my second. A friend of mine had hers at the RVI not sure which bit and she had an epidural - maybe ot wasnt the birthing suite? I worked in that hospital for a bit - their maternity ward is really lovely.

She and I had very very similar labours actually Grin

Noticed from the stats thread we are very close in age too - how weird would it be if we actually knew eaxh other haha!

Souredstoneshasasouredpebble · 24/07/2013 22:33

Hi all

I went to work today, bad move, had a big row with my boss ended up in tears and walked out at lunchtime. Taking the rest of the week off.

Bleeding has got worse as have the cramps so going to call the EPU again in the morning.

I will cheer up eventually

Souredstoneshasasouredpebble · 24/07/2013 22:33

Oh I'm in Essex btw

IceNoSlice · 24/07/2013 22:45

Oh Soured

I hope you went to the GP? Told work you are pg? It would suck if you were disciplined. Sad

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 24/07/2013 22:47

Im not afraid of being outed! Im in Manningtree near Colchester, and Im desperate for a local PG buddy, I don't know anyone in RL who is PG. Sad

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 24/07/2013 22:48

Fingers crossed Soured. xx
