I realised after my last message that it was "new" about a month ago! Fail!!

ilovemiltonismybestfriend · 06/08/2013 10:16

Thinking about you heart! Congratulations on the birth of your little boy!! He obviously has a very awesome mummy for listening to him so carefully and knowing when he needed you to be strong. Believing that he will be strong now just like you. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Xx

lilstar · 06/08/2013 17:08

How scary for you, heartonsleeve, and how fortunate that you were on the ball with the movements. I hope your little boy fights hard and you'll be at home with a healthy baby soon.

suprisepitstop · 10/08/2013 18:34

hope everything is going ok heart. x

harverina · 11/08/2013 11:25

I'm in agony Hmm Dh and I were at a wedding yesterday and I wore lovely high heals which I am now paying the price for now...woke during the night and could barely walk with the pain in my pubic bone, hips and back. I actually got a fright as I wasn't sure where the pain was if that makes sense. But when I lay down again it was fine.

I am going to be a moan today! And it's all my own fault....Smile

Saundy · 11/08/2013 15:14

I'm another FB defector that's just popped back I was thinking of Hearts and wanted to say congratulations and I hope he is progressing well. Sending lots of positive vibes your way xx

Harv they do say you have to suffer for beauty, I'm guessing that was a lesson learned for all of us!

notsoold · 11/08/2013 18:40

hearts how is your baby??? Xxxx and hugs

harv I hope the pain is better now... I will try to remember that when I miss my high heels! Xx
Gosh it gets really quiet here....

mycatlikestwiglets · 12/08/2013 09:50

Harv I can sympathise with the shoe-induced back pain - I'm rarely seen out of heels when not pg but this time I had to stop wearing anything remotely resembling one at about 10 weeks because the aftermath was such agony! It's so annoying because pregnancy is a time when a bit of leg-lengthening is helpful to avoid the "weeble" look (i.e. a round ball, which is pretty much the look I'm sporting these days!).

I've had a combination of itching bump and hot/restless feet driving me crazy for the last week. Midwife did an extra blood test to check for choleastasis (or however you spell it) but haven't heard the results yet so I guess everything's fine and I just have to put up with the irritation for the next 11 weeks or so. I had a lovely dream last night that I was on my way to work when I realised I'd forgotten I was already on maternity leave. Talk about wishful thinking!

heartonsleeve, hope your little boy is continuing to improve and that you're taking lots of care of yourself too.
