Guess what I had for dinner tonight?! Thankfully my heartburn seems only to be a problem at work so fajitas haven't troubled me!

1stwriggler · 31/07/2013 22:01

Hello girls! Could I join your Facebook group! I'm due 15th nov with my first! So excited for the arrival :-) looking forward to sharing everything happening to us! X

harverina · 31/07/2013 22:35

Littlemonkey mmmm I am now not sure. Are you worried about movement?

1stwriggler I am actually not sure how to add you to the Facebook group but if you pm me your Facebook URL I am sure I will work it out Grin welcome btw!

harverina · 31/07/2013 22:38

It doesn't seem to be typical heart burn foods that cause me to have heartburn. It just comes regardless! Worse if I bend down lots, which I tend to do when getting dd organised at bedtime. Lying down also brings it on. I had fajitas on Sunday and veggie curry on Monday and heartburn was no worse!

Mycat are you sitting at a desk all day? That might be why you have it at work if you are hunched over at the computer?

i am worried about movement but just because i have been reading about it the last few days i think i have become obsessed. i have only been feeling movement for the last 2 weeks i guess so i havent really sussed the pattern.
i think he was moving loads more on monday tuesday but less last 2 days but probably only to what he was before. also the placement of kicks has moved so i think he may have turned inwards.
i think i am sitting waiting for him to move and he doesnt and when i dont think about it he does. he certainly likes to move when i got to bed at night. last night he discovered kicking downwards.

i certainly get more than 10 kicks a day

littlemonkey2013 · 01/08/2013 11:53

after i posted that i made coffee and went to the bedroom to go and wake DH up.
as i lay there he kicked at least 40-50 times in the space of 25 mins. i timed the first 10 and it was 2 mins 5 seconds. (before drinking coffee)

i guess i should just take note and see when he does his kicking frenzies in the day. he probably has longer quiet times in between. i think i got caught up in the "your baby has sleep periods that mostly last between 20 and 40 minutes, and are rarely longer than 90 minutes" (from count the kicks) and expect if i sit down for an hour i should feel some kicks.

need to breath and relax!

Yep harder a my heartburn is definitely desk induced - it doesn't seem to be a problem outside of work at all. Roll on maternity leave!

mycatlikestwiglets · 01/08/2013 22:24

harder a? That should be harverina!

I have been trying to figure out how to pm someone so i can send my url to get added to the fb page. Cant figure out how to pm on the mobile or desktop site lol. If someone could message me so they can add me to the group that would be great. I find it tricky keeping up with these threads and hoping it might be a bit easier on fb. I'm due on 27/11 with dc2....i'm team yellow, don't know what I'm havig...Gotta luv a surprise!

Hello smartini! Welcome and congratulations Grin

mycatlikestwiglets · 05/08/2013 11:13

Congratulations Smartino and welcome to the thread! It's a bit quiet around here at the mo but there are a few of us still lurking for a chat!

harverina · 05/08/2013 14:30

Hello everyone - yes the thread is quiet. The Facebook page is busy as ever.

I am sitting in soft play letting dd run off her energy! I am still feeling really tired although feel like the iron tablets have kicked in a bit as I am not as tired as I was and haven't been as breathless

Hope everyone is well Grin

heartonsleeve · 05/08/2013 21:13

Evening all. This is my lack of movement story. This weekend, I noticed a lack of movement and a change in strength of movements. I came into hospital to get it checked out I'm still here, and our baby is in NICU having been born by Emcs last night. He was 27+2 and weighs 2lb 3oz. he is stable but sick. We are in for a long tough road. I will post more when Im not on a phone. But if you have ANY doubt about movements, get it checked out. Our boy may not be fighting now if we hadn't.

mycatlikestwiglets · 05/08/2013 21:29

heartonsleeve congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. Wishing you well and sending lots of positive vibes for the little guy - thank goodness you went for a check up. Thanks for sharing and do keep us posted if you feel able to - he was a decent weight for such an early baby so hopefully he's a fighter x
