March 2014?

Hi

Is there an antenatal thread for March 2013?

If not, can I start one? I've just found out Im expecting our third (and final!!) baby, due 4 March.

Fingers crossed tightly for a smooth ride (I had early bleeds with both my previous pregnancies).

Anyone else out there yet?

Why do you think I will bloom and you won't mummypig?

TWinklyLittleStar · 17/07/2013 20:21

I have as well stephie. I'm just trying to remind myself that mmc s are fairly rare, they just seem more common because I spend time reading that sort of thing, and people who have.smooth uneventful pregnancies don't need online support as much as people who've had problems so are vastly underrepresented.

stephie101 · 17/07/2013 20:26

twinkly thats really good to hear in a way...i dont feel im a complete nutter!! ;)
It could be that im still in shock, but so want this to go well...
Roll on Friday, scan and get to see dp for the first time since conceiving...

twinklestar2 · 17/07/2013 20:27

Twinklystar! Been lurking as I'm a friend of juicys when I saw your name! And i remember you from the no drinking in Jan thread. Congratulations!! Do you think it was the not drinking that did it?

MummyPig24 · 17/07/2013 20:34

I just reckon I will continue to be fat and hot and grumpy for the next 7/8 months whilst all the other pregnant ladies swan about blooming and beautiful!

TWinklyLittleStar · 17/07/2013 20:34

twinklestar hi! Thank you for remembering, how lovely :) Nope the no drinking lasted until mid April then I got drunk a fair few times in between. I did manage to lose some weight (two notches on my leather belt, result) which may have helped my PCOS. But ultimately I think I just got very very very lucky. I really hope that it's you soon xx

Coolhand · 17/07/2013 20:40

Frank and Sazza hope all okay. Let us know how you're doing.

Stephie - I was like that last time round too - so scared of mmc. I think my mind only settled when I got out of the 1st trimester. This time round I'm more relaxed for some reason. Think these threads are excellent for giving you the support you need and reassuring you that you're not nutty! Roll on Friday's scan.

TotalShock · 17/07/2013 20:44

stephie I feel the same but trying not to think at all. I'm not doing too bad burying my head in the sand at the moment! I'm hoping for an early scan. I had a mmc in feb so almost trying to pretend its not happening til I see some proof!

DP is getting it in the next as feel so sick and have done for days! Also loads of indigestion and bloated. Oh I feel so attractive...

Lambchop14 · 17/07/2013 20:44

Mummypig I think I will be the same!

twinklestar2 · 17/07/2013 20:46

Twinks - it helps that our names are similar Grin

I'm going through IVF so hopefully not too far behind you and then we both have a valid reason not to drink next Jan!

Congrats again love :)

TotalShock · 17/07/2013 20:46

mummypig I think I will be fat, hot and grumpy as well!!!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/07/2013 20:55

I'm already fat and grumpy! Grin
Stephie you just need to not think about it. Sadly, if its going to happen its going to happen. There really isn't anything you can do. Its really not that common, as someone else said, you just get to hear of the bad stuff more often.
Like total it also happened to me in February, so it is foremost in my mind. Im just trying to keep busy until my reassurance scan on Tuesday.

LyraSilvertongue · 17/07/2013 21:07

I feel the size of a house this evening. The bloating is just ridiculous. My friend said maybe its twins! Shock
I guess I'll find out soon enough if I get to have a scan tomorrow.

MummyPig24 · 17/07/2013 21:07

I'm desperate for my scan, not least because I actually have no idea how far along I am. If I go by my lmp it puts my due date at march 5th, but if I calculate that with my 44 day cycle, it's at 21st march. So I really don't know until I see the mw and then have a scan.

HotCrossPun · 17/07/2013 21:26

Thanks for the advice Saggy Rock and Mortified . Hopefully I'm feeling better tomorrow, but if I'm not i'll tell them that I'm pregnant over the phone and then email in too.

TWinklyLittleStar · 17/07/2013 22:15

"morning" sickness my arse. 10pm seems to be puke time for me Envy

Souredstones · 17/07/2013 22:25

Hope frank and sazza are well. Keep us posted ladies.

I feel terrible. The cramps in my stomach are crippling and really quite worrying now. Going to GP first thing if I have another night like last night

MortifiedAdams · 17/07/2013 22:59

Sorry to be tmi but is anyone getting a different sort of, erm, waste disposal? Ive not vomitted yet but havent been off the loo tonight - grim I know, especially as I am at work too Blush

JuicyFatSteak · 17/07/2013 23:19

Twink, I feel like spewing for England, too Envy

MortifiedAdams · 17/07/2013 23:33

Tbh grim as it is, id rather have dodgy bowels than vomiting! Wonder if its a sign of a boy (vommed with dd(

JK10 · 18/07/2013 00:07

Best of luck to you frank and zazza

I won't find out the sex but I can't help but look on the Chinese prediction chart! It's been right for me each time! Has anyone else used it in the past with the correct prediction?

Im so big and bloated too, I've put on 4lb already! How can this be so early on? My hips have changed shape and curved and as I said my stomach is huge!

Not pregnancy related at all but by MIL drives me insane! She keeps bringing round a pack lunch for my DP to take to work!! He is 36! She drives round at midnight, leaves her engine running, you hear her unlock the van, throw in her packed lunch, slam the van door, get in car and drive off!! Always wakes me and to be honest why!!??? He is 36! Surely he is old enough to make a bloody sandwich!! I have asked in the past very politely that it is unnecessary and wakes me up, but she still does it! Grrrrrrrrr! What to do?

JuicyFatSteak · 18/07/2013 00:30

She has keys to his van??!

JBrd · 18/07/2013 00:39

JK - get her to return the key to the van? Wink Honestly, I think that's something your DH needs to resolve... His mum, his lunch, his van. He might have up be a bit brutal about it.
But honestly, why would she want to drive out every night to bring him his lunch anyway, why?!? There are much better ways of spending your evenings.

I'm so bloated, it's driving me crazy, sooo uncomfortable. That and a sore back (think I overdid it in he gym last week). What can you do about bloating?

sazzababs · 18/07/2013 01:32

Aff the boat/bus! Had to go up to the hospital this eve after calling nhs24 :( Best of luck to everyone with their beans and hope Frank is ok xx

MummyPig24 · 18/07/2013 02:13

Oh no sazza, I'm so sorry Sad

I'm bloody hot and can't sleep now. Last week I had a bad tummy, constantly on the toilet, but has been fine this week. I'm not really nauseous often. I think it's a boy for sure.
