Hi everyone, hope you had good wkends, I'm looking forward to my holiday next Saturday (although won't be the usual sunbathing with wine flowing!), still can't wait just to relax especially as I'm feeling a bit rough and sick today! Work are piling on the pressure ahead of my hols but who cares, in one week I will be off for two weeks woop!

Just wondered when the really preggers people started to get lightning crotch/cervix pangs? So I can be prepared and not go into cervix panic!

at not needing to go every 5 minutes. I am currently considering sleeping on the loo.

Will that please your Dad Hazle? My Sister's baby looks like our Dad and he is unashamedly over the moon about it. I think my BIL is a bit put out that nobody thinks he looks like him.

Belly wise, mine is still quite big. I think quite a lot is swelling from the c section, I'm not sure if that normally happens but it took then ages to turn him to straightforward breech so they could get him out, and took a LOT of pushing and pulling. My scar isn't sore in the slightest but my belly is tender! Since my milk has now come in though I no longer break the offside rule (just)

*Just to clarify: the scan will be in a couple of weeks 'coz i iz well-early yet, innit.

What a bumper weekend this has turned out to be! I suspect I am going to let the side down on making it 4 days in a row, but I have had a few mild contractions (or what I think are contractions - I have no idea what real ones actually feel like or how they differ from BH, but these are irregular so I think they are stronger-than-normal BH, but it hopefully means the real thing isn't too far off). No more of the plug has come away since the sweep and waters haven't gone.

Oh cavort, would be brilliant if they did mean something! 4 in 4 days would be amazing! Fingers crossed for you.

I am whacked. Not moaning of course, but def whacked. Very glad Miles is out of intensive care and with me, but turns out they're quite hard work these babies

Well, I had the grand total of a pathetic 4 contractions last night. Went to bed at midnight and they stopped, but got up for a wee at 5.30 and had quite a big one as soon as I got out of bed and have been having them since at 10-30 minute intervals. FX this is the start of something but still not lost more plug or waters.

Helloooo juicy. I don't think we've ever met as I was a recent berry BFP but I'm only 12 wks so could do with a newbie pg buddy. Twins would be so exciting.

Victor must be tired from the birth, as he's mostly asleep. Wakes up, eats, gets changed and back to sleep. I'm sure that will change once he starts getting really hungry though.

Cavort that certainly sounds promising! Oh, take some warm socks, even though the hospital is really warm, my feet were freezing during labour and I've heard it's a common complaint.

Wow! Congratulations Hazle and Purple! Victor is gorgeous and I bet you're doing fab... Purple love the name, so elegant for a little monster hope you're not suffering too much after your interesting birth.

As for me, have embarked upon final week at work for a while, and BabyBear is technically speaking cooked enough to make an appearance now. To mark this, I've been having mild period-type pains but have decided junior might be having a stab at engaging rather than anything more scary exciting...

Also think I had a first BH that I could feel - feels strangely like progress! Have a feeling that this little al dente monkey will need simmering quite a few weeks longer though, so won't be threatening you for your title of fourth place Cavort!

Ah, good point about the socks Hazle. I remember it was mentioned at Antenatal but I had completely forgotten. I will put some good thick ones in.

Contractions are still irregular and have slowed to one every half an hour or so. The lightening pains however have stepped right up and are really, really, REALLY painful. It is making me yelp out loud when I get one. The contractions are uncomfortable but a doddle in comparison I know this will change. Still no plug or waters. This could go on for days.

Any update Cavort?
