Thought I may as well start this given I'll be around for another (hopefully) 14ish weeks :) Hope I've not crossed posts with anyone!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
RedRobin1 · 11/12/2013 10:32

yay again twinkle we can talk about it all on here now

I am soooo thrilled for you... our babies will be 8 months apart :) lovely!

resipsa · 11/12/2013 10:48

And I can't even be annoyed that you've deserted me in the circumstances Grin.

How the heck are you lot?

twinklestar2 · 11/12/2013 11:13

We need you over here res and then the whole gang is complete :)

RedRobin1 · 11/12/2013 11:55

Hi Res (big wave) Smile so good to hear from you...
How are you doing? Yes you need to join us soon we are saving you a place!

tedmundo · 11/12/2013 14:32

TWINKLE oh wow, I am so, so pleased for you and for your DH. I have even cried a little bit.

What a f*cking journey, my lovely. But it all gets the same shit and puke producing mini human at the end and that is truly all that matters!

What a very very Happy Christmas is will be in the Twinkle household. Is that a wrapped up pregger test for the Gran-to-be I spy under the tree???

twinklestar2 · 11/12/2013 14:47

Aw thx ted. It's been a bloody long hike and I still have a long way to go but I'm taking it one day at a time.

I was so excited I have already told my family and OHs family! We brought them cards saying special nan, uncle, etc. Just like I'd always imagined I would do it :)

How are you? I need a catch up on your situ x

tedmundo · 11/12/2013 14:53

OK now I have absorbed winkle's wonderful news, I have read back up the last couple of weeks or so.

alex .. is there a new graduate baby yet?! I hope all is well after your induction.

wee and red .. so very, very near..... I hope to hear about your marvellous, pain free labours in the coming days!

I hope the rest of you are well too and the babies are behaving themselves?

DS3 (Bruce!) is now 9 months and cruising around quite happily. He is gorgeous but has actually broken what was a quite orderly household and we now live in a state of almost chaos. DH working abroad this week so it all feels particularly on edge at the moment! Anyway, off to get the big ones from school now so have a lovely afternoon.

tedmundo · 11/12/2013 14:59

winkle - I don't blame you for telling them already! What a smashing feeling that must have been!? Lots of snot and tears??

I cross posted a bit of an update and really there is not too much more. DS2 started in reception in sept so it is just ds3 and I during the day and we are having fun. I am a SAHM so do lots of baby groups and playdates, for me as much as him.

He is a liability - while catching up on here,he has eaten a Tesco receipt and a piece of chalk. Oh well it is calcium, right?

twinklestar2 · 11/12/2013 15:28

Ah it's great to hear to your update!

Argh I'm pissing people off left, right and centre! I booked a trip for about 7 of us to meet up for the day before I found out I was pregnant and I've cancelled it now because I don't want to traipse up on the train and spend the day wandering around in the cold. Am I being over cautious? My mates are annoyed with me! I've lied and said I have a family thing on.

Thingymajigs · 11/12/2013 16:21

A summer baby. Smile Great news.
I don't think you are being overly cautious at all. I remember having to go to a hen do at 10 weeks and feeling very vulnerable. I had to show my face but couldn't wait to get home. They will understand.
Lovely to hear the updates from the graduates. Smile

RedRobin1 · 11/12/2013 17:08

Wise decision winkle I stupidly took a flight 8hours away at 10weeks and was throwing up all over the place. Just wanted to be curled up in bed and not see anyone. Your mates will understand when you tell them why a few weeks from now!

ted lovely to read your updates. Is Bruce walking / crawling around now?

I'm 36weeks and can hardly believe it's so close to the end. Feeling rotten today - attack of nausea, sickness and tiredness...just when I had forgotten what first trimester felt like Hmm wonder if this is a sign of labour.....hmm! Don't feel like eating anything and just want to sleep all day.

kittykatsforever · 11/12/2013 18:21

Oh my god winkle, can't believe I've missed out on this news all day!
I think I'm about as happy as when I got my bfp!!
How are you feeling?
Don't worry about cancelling as everyone said they will understand in a few weeks and it's your right to be selfish, it's been a long time comming so don't do anything you don't want to or feel obliged. It matters not what anyone else thinks, so glad you got to do your cards Grin

kittykatsforever · 11/12/2013 18:22

Oh I so want us to all meet up with our little babies one day Smile

tedmundo · 11/12/2013 20:26

I think you did the right thing to cancel too. And in a few short weeks you can explain why and they will fully understand, they are your friends.

How many embryos did they put in then? Just thinking about it being twins? I saw a friend today with her B/G twins from her second round of IVF. Her first round got her a boy when I met her at ante-natal for ds1. Tough first year I think but all good now (they are nearly 4).

red - not long at all. Anytime from now I guess? Get that bag packed!

twinklestar2 · 11/12/2013 22:09

Thx kitty. I am feeling ok. Have had sore boobs and the odd cramping. Think the tiredness is kicking in but that's prob due to two nights out in a row - two things I really couldn't say no to. It's hard when it's over Xmas as I had so many plans to catch up with people! But I'm not risking this for anything or anyone, let them be pissed off if I cancel! I've been pissed off for the past 2 and a half years!!

twinklestar2 · 11/12/2013 22:14

Ted I only had one put back so very low chance of twins.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasExhausted · 11/12/2013 22:44

twinkle you little star. Biggest congratulations in the whole world can you tell I'm excited

I read your amazing news at lunch time but have only just had time to post. I'm so so happy for you, just want resipsa to join us now. I remember how nerve wracking those early weeks are. 3+ on the digi is great news.

You are doing the right thing cancelling, if people are a bit pissed off it really doesn't matter. They will forget it soon enough and will be really excited for you once you announce your news.

When are you booked in for a scan?

ted can't believe Bruce is cruising and 9 months old time is flying.

BlearyeyedLol · 11/12/2013 23:08

Ooh it's all getting exciting. I'm still over the moon for winkle

wee I only lost my plug once labour started, fx this is the start of things for you.

I'm hoping silence from alex means we have yet more good news coming our way.

twinklestar2 · 12/12/2013 11:07

Good luck wee! Looking forward to hearing your news!

The scan next week is a 6 week scan. I'll be 6 + 2.

I'm so scared today and panicking. Please tell me this is normal. I feel like all the symptoms have gone and it's going to end badly.
