Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BelissimaLol · 26/07/2013 09:25

Oh I don't know little! You might win the race! I've not had the show!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/07/2013 09:26

red - I think ladies who are really ill in pg don't seem to have the same sorts of cravings cos we have loads of aversions and are generally too worried about making ourselves sick again to indulge in anything too weird lol With both DS and this time I am mad for both homemade pancakes and thick icecreamy milkshakes, which isn't exactly a crazy craving but not something I usually drink. With DS I also loved cream buns (hee), peanut butter and sausage rolls. This time I like southern fried chicken (tho not KFC), and fruit salad with cold custard. Not the usual icecream and pickle thing tho!!! You keep eating your McDs and enjoy Grin

kittykatsforever · 26/07/2013 09:56

Red I was mcd aswell Grin although I love it all the time apart from that I never had any really ( fanta first time) more aversions or things I didn't want but I was never ill either oh did have a real thing for McDonald's ice cream naughty wippy stuff this time which I'm not normally an ice cream person but maybe it was also that forbidden thing Wink
Kitten pleased to hear your dads op went well, fx you all get the result you need and your sil isn't waiting too long
Little I cleaned my oven aswell Smile oh and fridge lol
Not long now lol can't wait to see pics
Ted lovely to hear from you
Winkle if your reading we are all 100% behind you! I can't speak for the others but get the feeling that they'd totally agree when I say we are praying for your bfp as much as we would our own, it's stupid in one way as we've all never met but after spending years on the same thread ( can you believe it Shock) with someone they start to feel like real friends and you ride their journey with them, put it this way, you seem to have alot of stalkers!! You will get their lady don't give up x

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/07/2013 10:17

Second what kitty said, winkle - loads of us have possibly not really discussed ttc / mcs etc. much with friends or even family but have been able to talk to each other on MN and get support so even though we've never met IRL i'm def rooting for you and thinking about you as you go through IVF and praying you get the result you have waited so long for x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 26/07/2013 10:42

red I had major McD cravings too. I made my boss but me a quarter pounder meal and then I ate all his chips too (I think he had about three spotted me eying them up and handed them over, bless him). I think it's the salt content I'm after, I like salty things in a big way when pregnant.

I went to the GP re diarrhoea but it was before this current sickness bug started. GP was great, checked out everything. We think pregnancy is upsetting my ibs, I've pretty much resolved myself to having a dodgy stomach for the remainder of the pregnancy. At least it's better than constipation and heartburn, I seem to be almost immune to that.

lol how are you feeling? Anything happening.

RedRobin1 · 26/07/2013 10:42

winkle kitty and others have put it so well. We are all here for you and not going anywhere till you get your BFP. I am praying for you every day and as kitty said we want your BFP as much as we wanted our own. No matter what the outcome on Sunday we will be holding your hand.

RedRobin1 · 26/07/2013 10:50

I don't know what McD's put in their burgers but they just taste so good right now. I shamelessly had them two days in a row.

kitty I have been naughty, eating a lot of fried eggs too. I beg DH to leave them a little runny but since he's been reading those damn pregnancy do's and don'ts, he just annoyingly cooks the yolk on both sides. I miss and crave runny eggs.

little now that you mention pancakes.......sending DH to get some eggs :) and yes post sickness I am too scared to be adventurous with food. I am just happy at being able to eat again and not bring it back up. Some of my friends in RL also had no cravings and just aversions.

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/07/2013 11:37

Red / when - I got my sister this a couple of xmases ago: www.amazon.co.uk/Takeaway-Secret-Cook-Favourite-Fast-food/dp/0716022354 It's good fun to try, helps you make your v own McDonald's burgers at home!

Also red, if you start going doing the pancakes route, have you tried Betty Crocker Bisquick mix? Makes the best pancakes, french toast, waffles, everything - the recipes over here are almost guaranteed to induce gestational diabetes but they certainly make weekend breakfasts in our house lots of fun!! www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/product-recipes/bisquick-recipes/all-bisquick-recipes?term=Bisquick&nv=4294965409&ps=12&pi=1

tedmundo · 26/07/2013 12:08

Wow, I am now officially starving. I might have to 'treat' the DSs to a MaccyDs just so that I can have a sweet chilli chicken wrap!

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/07/2013 13:06

i'm all about the McD's caramel frappe and fries Wink

Bathroom is absolutely gleaming! Gleaming I tell you! DS seems somewhat bemused by my activities lol

Thingymajigs · 26/07/2013 14:31

I'm 12 weeks exactly today red. I've spent almost 30 mins doing housework so my body has decided I need a nap. I'm normally very active so this is a weird adjustment.
How are you feeling now?

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/07/2013 15:02

lol - alas, no, i was talking about sweep I had with DS. I'm not having one done this time til 2nd Aug at 39 weeks so just doing housework to try and get labour started. No luck so far but tens machine just arrived in the post and having finished bathroom i also did the downstairs loo, polished the sliderobe doors in our room and put a few of DH's shirts in a special wash to get rid of colour run. Any news with you? Contractions yet?

BelissimaLol · 26/07/2013 16:29

Oh I see little. So I hope I'm first then Grin
Have been having mild yeah right contractions for the whole day. Every 15 min or so. No waters or plug. Already tired of it!!!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 26/07/2013 17:40

Ooh lol mild contractions is exciting. Any chance you can sleep through the mild ones, best get some rest now you could be very busy later tonight, tomorrow or Sunday.

Kittenkatzen · 26/07/2013 18:20

Another one here for the winkle stalker/fan club Smile

red I haven't really had any cravings either - have completely gone off chicken though. And have developed a habit of putting cheese on everything, but I'm pretty sure that's greediness not cravings Wink

Excited for you lol, hope baby makes it debut before the weekend is out!
