Poor dd. You must be tired too. My ds2 is very prone to stomach bugs or just vomiting no matter what the illness might be. I find it always starts in the middle of the night. I hope its passes quickly and she feels better soon.
Exciting little. Smile How long have you got left to go?
For some reason I have had flushes of nausea the last 3 days always in the afternoon. Can't understand why ms would start at 11 weeks so I'm wondering if its a bug. Also feeling exhausted. But I'm loving my little bump. Smile In the morning its always sticking out at an odd angle to the left and is really noticable. Definitely a bump not bloat this time.

kittykatsforever · 22/07/2013 08:02

Omg when my dd1 was sick last night too, just like yours, went to bed fine no sign of illness but been sick in the night and this morning Hmm

Kittenkatzen · 22/07/2013 08:15

Got everything crossed for you winkle!

Aww when and *kitty your poor dd's, sounds horrible - hope they both feel better soon

Not sure if sickness outbreaks can cross the sea but Belfast seems to have a lot of chicken pox / foot & mouth going round among toddler populace at yhe min. Poor kids...so miserable :((

See HRH has gone into labour...jealous!! 37+3 today - less uncomfortable & wiped out now it is less hot thank goodness! SPD getting worse & eorse tho as baby gets heavier & lower in pelvis so cant do a whole lot of walking. So just washing all towels & sheets, bouncing on birth ball and doing acupressure points everyday, coercing DH into some shagging. Can't hurt!!

kittykatsforever · 22/07/2013 08:57

Oh little you've got more will then me, I was willing to risk staying pregnant if it was that or dtd, there was just no chance!
Don't be jeleous of hth she's overdue remember, you could have yours early still Wink
Winkle sending all the very best vibes to you, we need you back where you belong with us

weechops · 22/07/2013 10:58

Aw when and kitty hope your little munchkins are feeling better soon. It's awful whenthere's nothing you can do for them.

Winkle I have everything crossed for you to be over here soon. You're often in my thoughts.

Little when I was having ds (will need to call him ds1 now weird!) dh gave in and had sex with me to stop the moaning :) didn't work though ha! Hopefully yours will :)

RedRobin1 · 22/07/2013 11:18

Awww when and kitty hope your dds feel well soon. Its awful being sick!

thingy it's lovely seeing the first signs of the bump isn't it?

I am showing now and can't do my jeans up. Going to try and use my bottoms with rubberbands threaded through them for a while longer, not ready to buy maternity wear just yet.

My DH keeps wanting to have sex and we tried but I keep chaffing and feel really sore down there. Tried lube but it was pointless. Also every time we try I find myself wanting to wee Blush pressure against bladder and all that. Just don't find sex comfortable right now and we tried so many positions. Just gave up then!

Get to hear the baby's heartbeat today - so excited Smile
16w tomorrow!

kittykatsforever · 22/07/2013 13:32

My goodness red how are you 16wks allready Shock the time has gone so quick

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 22/07/2013 16:39

Wow 16 weeks for red we are all progressing nicely.

Sorry your dd is sick too kitty I think she must have picked up a bug when we were in bath, though not really sure how she managed it. She's not 100% but is much better. Off her food which is very unusual.

LittleMissSnowShine · 22/07/2013 19:32

16 weeks red - amazing!!

Yep dtd at 37 weeks with a wonky pelvis, huge bump and hot weather is definitely challenging and it didnt work with DS (ds1!) but since baby seems so low this time maybe it wont need as much of a nudge! Plus between sickness and bleeding in first tri and the likelihood of def not wanting to dtd for a couple of months after the birth, i've been trying to fit as much in as poss lol

No royal baby updates yet, poor Kate!

Kittenkatzen · 22/07/2013 19:40

16wks red that's flown! Hair bands through the jeans worked for me for a good few weeks.

Glad your dd is feeling better when, horrible to feel pukey in this weather.

littlemiss I take my hat off to you for even thinking about dtd in this weather, let alone all the other factors!

Thingymajigs · 22/07/2013 19:43

We dtd on Sunday but had to stop as DP became terrified of squishing the baby and I became massively distracted by the bump going solid. And here I was looking forward to getting my sex life back to normal after the monotony of TTC. No chance.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 22/07/2013 21:08

Well I think I spoke too soon about dd being on the mend. She just threw up all over her bed again.

The washing machine will be getting quite a workout. Really hope this clears up soon. I'm shattered from being up with her all night and I can't really afford to take any more time off. I should just count my lucky stars she is normally pretty healthy.

kittykatsforever · 22/07/2013 21:24

When Thanks
I think my dd must have been a fluke as she's seemed fine today, no idea what it was all about but hope you have a better night, my washing machines been going all day aswell, I'm hoping for some more slep too
New prince born Grin.

RedRobin1 · 22/07/2013 22:03

I know can't believe 16w already! Second trimester seems to go slightly quicker than first.

Heard the heartbeat today. Had a mild panic though when she couldn't find one for 2 minutes! Was shitting myself and relief as the galloping heartbeat kicked in.

I hope they don't name him James! It's on my boy name list.

kittykatsforever · 23/07/2013 08:38

Lol red my only thought was yeay it's a boy they won't be using my name Grin

LittleMissSnowShine · 23/07/2013 09:12

when - oh your poor DD and poor you too, hope the bug clears up soon and that you don't catch it Flowers

thingy - it is v easy to get distracted dtd when pg lol The actual geometry of doing it is very funny for me now, huge bump and wrecked pelvis limits possible positions and DH has pulled something in his back so it's like really terrible slapstick comedy trying to get things going!!!

red - yay on the heartbeat! sounds like galloping horses doesn't it? (when mw eventually finds it!!)

kitty - My DS was born the same week as Price William but his grandfather was also called William so that's his middle name and all the nurses thought that's why MIL had picked the name lol Pretty sure me and Kate won't be opting for the same one though Wink

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 23/07/2013 20:43

Thanks for the flowers guys. I'm sick too.

Don't think work are going to be too impressed, for some reason my stomach has been horrendous this pregnancy. Really bad bout of ibs at the start and two vomiting bugs.

I still have diarrhoea (17 days and counting). At least I wasn't off work for any of that.

sorry for the self absorbed thread, in a moaning mood

Kittenkatzen · 24/07/2013 07:44

More sympathy for you when, sounds bloody horrible...really hope you feel better very soon!

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 24/07/2013 08:08

It's not your fault when, you'd hardly want to be ill, take it easy on yourself and I hope you've got people to help you with dd? X

LittleMissSnowShine · 24/07/2013 08:57

Poor you when :(

Being pg, looking after a toddler and having a job can be a v tough juggling act at times - I needed a lot of time off in Jan / Feb this year with HG and then another couple of days here and there to look after DS and you do end up feeling under pressure and guilty, but you need to put yourself, baby and DD first. If you were the boss, would you genuinely resent a pregnant woman for needing time off for illness or to look after a sick child? I'm sure you wouldn't, and if your boss is making you feel in any way like that then he/she is the one being unreasonable! Look after yourself x

RedRobin1 · 24/07/2013 12:09

oh when doesn't sound like you've had it easy at all. Hope you feel better soon and diarrhoea stops and dd gets better. You shouldn't feel guilty about taking time off work, do what's best for you and baby and dd.

One thing I realised from all of the past few years is TTC is not easy, pregnancy is not easy, and being a parent is difficult too (albeit very rewarding) but the point is you are pregnant and a parent right now and you need some time to just get better and let your body recover. Don't stress, work will tut but at the end of the day they will get on with it. Just look after yourself.

LittleMissSnowShine · 24/07/2013 13:50

lol - Are you feeling any movements yet? I am on obsessive labour watch at the min and I'm only 37+5 Grin Walked DS round to play park and home again just before tea last night and for about 3 hours I was very crampy, loads of twinges etc. Bouncing on birth ball (strangely?) settled things down again and feeling fairly normal again today. Feel v impatient this time round, don't think I was crawling the walls quite as much the last time (tho of course possibly misremembering!)

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 24/07/2013 15:15

Thanks guys, I will have to just keep reminding myself its ok, your immune system is shit when pregnant so you are more likely to pick stuff up and get it bad when you do.

Thing I'm really worried about is this damn diarrhoea not settling down. GPs theory is I got a mild infection which my stomach reacted too and it is taking a long time to settle down (I have ibs). Problem is this bug has massively upset my bowels again, god only knows how long it with take my crap insides to get back to normal.

I'm so excited for little and lol no idea which one of you will pop first but will be watching.

Kittenkatzen · 25/07/2013 09:36

So today my SIL is in labour and my dad is having the operation to hopefully remove his cancer. Am swinging wildly between excitement and worry - really not sure the pg hormones can cope with this Confused
