Very early days but I'm due 26 January - really expecting early February after being 15 days late with DC1. Thought I'd get the ball rolling Grin

Anyone else?

Fingers crossed for you Dawn, the wait is awful I had similar with DD2 now almost 11months. After bleeding they could only see sac at scan. Had the horrible week wait but all was well when I went back. Was just a bit early, hopefully you have the same experience x.
I'm having plenty of symptoms at the moment. toast has sudden become disgusting and just the smell is making me feel ill, plenty of on and off nausea. Still got some cramping too. I spoke to my new midwife today, I found an amazing service in my area here So excited that I don't have to use the local community midwife team, I didn't get on with any of them when I was having DD2. Got my first appointment next week, the luxury of having it at home is fab too, not having to traipse DD out with me!

Hope everyone else is doing well x

littlestgirlguide · 04/06/2013 22:13

Hope the week goes quickly and it's a happy answer Dawn

I am still paranoid. Up till today, my boobs have been sore; but now, they are totally not sore and apparantly disappearing symptoms is a bad sign? I've got no other symptoms, no nausea, just feeling a but tired and headachey but that could just be the hot weather. I rang and booked a doctors appt for a week tomorrow, which will make me 5+6, but I wish there was a way of convincing myself that everything's ok.

vix206 · 05/06/2013 12:58

Hope everyone is ok today. I am queasy but just snacking my way through it. I just updated the stats thread with Apparentlychilled and ShowMeTheCoffee. Welcome both :)

Sore boobs are back! Actually more tingly.
Is this normal, symptoms that come and go as they please?

Really sorry to hear what you'regoing through Dawn and I hope it's good news.

littlest I don't have sore boobs at all and keep worrying about this (don't think I did last time either) but I only have sporadic nausea.

Feel like I've hit a bit of a wall today. Not sleeping well at all and am so tired. Day off today and all I did with ds was a very brief trip to the swings, watched tv, both had a long afternoon nap and now more tv - I'm only 4 weeks pregnant so don't feel I have an excuse for being so crap! Am so tired that I could cry at the thought of going to work tomorrow and - I repeat - I'm not even five weeks yet! Don't remember when my energy came back last time around but I hope it's soon!

lucidlady · 05/06/2013 18:02

Hi ladies, may I join you? Got my BFP yesterday and reckon I'm 3-4 weeks. This is my second, I have a 19 month old DD. Think my EDD is 17 Feb but seeing doctor on Friday so will have it confirmed then.

vix206 · 05/06/2013 18:37

Welcome and congrats lucidlady Grin

Dawn so sorry to hear you are having a difficult week. I hope you know soon and you get the result we all want for you. X

Still no symptoms really, bit of phantom boob tingle. Also think I have a pot belly developing (water retention?)

I am mildly freaking as a Pyrex dishi was using just exploded and flew shards and long sharp spears at me. It was on the work top so they all flew right at my midrif. All seems totally ffine, nothing even got through my tee shirtthat I can see! i dont want to be melodramatic but it was just a horrible moment where I truly thought I was impaled with spears of razor sharp Pyrex. My legs are all wobbly. Be careful putting cold food into hot Pyrex everyone!

barebranches · 05/06/2013 19:13

welcome luci

i have no symptoms today... i am very tired but that might be because work is busy rather than the bean Grin
still got loads of work to do.. just want to lay on the sofa!

OMGherewegoagain · 05/06/2013 20:00

Dawn so sorry to hear you didn't get the answers you wanted yesterday....the waiting must be so annoying, but it's really early days so whether they see everything on the scan is really hit and miss. Know it must be difficult and I'd like to give you a hug, try to focus on the positive and we're here if you need us.

Welcome and congratulations to the newbies - Feb is looking like a busy month already

littlest I definitely feel more then less pregnant even over the course of the day....my symptoms are much worse by the afternoon, end of the day, they were first time around too - not sure why its called morning sickness, the evening was always much worse for me

bare I'm with you on just wanting to lie down on the sofa and stop - yes please! Work is really busy at the moment and my DS is like zebadee, have started putting In the night garden on before bedtime because I really need 15mins sitting down he really enjoys it Smile

Right must dash DH has been slaving over a hot stove to make tea and its ready and I'm starving - yum!

Picklelilliy · 06/06/2013 08:05

Hi Everyone, Can I hop on the bus? I had my BFP on Monday, i'm 4 +3 with DC2 and we've been ttc for 12 months. No symptoms other than a bit of tiredness (although DD who is 2 has been waking at 5am all week so that may have something to do with it). EDD 10th Feb.

Feeling slightly apprehensive as a couple of my close friends have miscarried recently so praying for a sticky one but staying positive. Have already POAS twice and am fighting the urge to go and buy a CB digital, is this just me?

Here's to the next 8 months ladies Smile

amicusapple · 06/06/2013 08:21

Hi to all the joiners.

I've been spotting since last night Hmm
Slowly getting more red. Not feeling any significant cramping or anything but have got some back pain. Due to have my first midwife appointment today at 2pm so will see what she says. Trying to stay optimistic.

vix206 · 06/06/2013 08:32

Amicus I'm sorry you're spotting, take it easy today.

Ive been away from thread for a bit as I was feeling a bit of a fraud not getting many symptoms however morning sickness has whacked me over the head this morning and i feel so so grim. Hope you are doing ok Dawn and amicus fingers crossed for you both

Apparentlychilled · 06/06/2013 10:46

MrsSpencerReid- I'm also in Yorkshire and expecting an early one- DD arrived at 37 weeks and DS at 36 weeks (and while in labour, I kept arguing w midwife that I couldn't possibly be in labour as he wasn't due for a month yet...!).

Anyone else got morning sickness yet? Feeling really queasy today and really want sympathy, but no-one knows yet!

Apparentlychilled · 06/06/2013 10:48

Sorry Bunny- I see that you're having the lovely nausea too. Here - have some dry toast.

And keeping fingers crossed for Dawn and Amicus.

littlestgirlguide · 06/06/2013 11:42

5 weeks today, and finally a symptom! Proper morning sickness this morning, I actually felt sick still lying down and heaving when I stood up, wasn't actually sick though but I guess theres time!

pickle you are not the only one! Clear Blue digital did stop my craving though when it said 'pregnant' no is it a line/isn't it a line there.

amicus and dawn, keeping my fx for both of you.

vix206 · 06/06/2013 11:44

OrangeMochaFrappucino · 06/06/2013 13:30

I've picked up a dose of gastroenteritis - according to the NHS Direct lady. I phoned in a panic after a night of non stop vomiting, terrified I was going to develop hyperemesis, however she said as it's accompanied by fever and (sorry!) diarrhea she diagnosed a nasty tummy bug. Starting to feel vaguely human again but am now unpleasantly reminded of how grim nausea and vomiting really is and am apprehensive about if/when 'morning' sickness arrives!

Apparentlychilled · 06/06/2013 13:32

poor you jelly!

I feel so grots I just want to tell everyone so I can get lots of sympathy but DH has veteod this! (he doesn't know I told a friend yesterday because I was in a bit of a flap - had PND twice before so was getting all agitated about the idea of getting it again, and he's away w work and I needed to talk about it).

purplypink · 06/06/2013 14:14

Hi everyone,
I'm still mostly symptom free, just tired and grumpy in the evening.
I am still feeling Nervous and still buying tests, I never did this with the other 2 but its keeping me believing.
I don't have my mW app till 20th, and that will be week 7+3.
Thoughts are with all of you during worrying times x

meg2106 · 06/06/2013 14:32
