Very early days but I'm due 26 January - really expecting early February after being 15 days late with DC1. Thought I'd get the ball rolling Grin

Anyone else?

EeyoreIsh · 12/06/2013 20:26

gosh, I would love to have a hot flush! I'm freezing at the moment, I almost wore thick tights today.

I'm shattered too, I felt really run down this afternoon and thought I must be coming down with something. When I remembered I'm pregnant and just shattered! Grin

OMGherewegoagain · 12/06/2013 20:30

Hot flushes, carbs a plenty and super queasy here too....feeling alright and full of energy in the mornings (which is very unusual - I'm definitely more of a night owl normally). Sickness kicks in mid morning (cue filling my face with anything I can get my hands on Blush) then really slump and could do with a nap post lunch....hmmm I wonder if they'd mind if I curled up under my desk Grin - wouldn't that be nice....

Anyone else waking up at silly times in the morning? I'm seeing 3-4am far too regularly at the moment for my liking

laura0007 · 12/06/2013 21:25

Well I'm still waking in the night about 1am feeling sick! The sickness holds off all day while I'm at work, then when I finally get into my lovely, comfy bed do I lie awake all night feeling sick! Typical, when I'm knackered too Sad

Namechangingnorma · 12/06/2013 21:44

Hi all, just checking in, sorry to hear your news Jelly, I have had two mmc in the past and had told everyone, this was quite some time ago and in previous relationship's so hoping it's going to be different this time. who has told people already and who have you told? I am dying to tell my parents as they will be over the moon but we have decided to wait (particularly due to my history)

212VIP · 12/06/2013 21:51

Not told anyone yet. Not even DH.
Don't know what my spinal surgeon is going to say...

sunflowered · 12/06/2013 22:29

Really sorry to hear your news jelly. How are you doing?

We're going to try not to tell anyone until (all being well) 12 weeks, but we're staying with my parents at the moment so that might be hard.

littlestgirlguide · 12/06/2013 22:51

Sorry for your news Jelly

Doctors today - she has recommended an early scan due to my cycles being really messed up since having the implant removed last year. However doesn't think it will be for another month!

SamL88 · 12/06/2013 23:08

So sorry to hear the news. It really is a very real reality and does make me feel a bit silly for wanting to tell everyone. But I'm just bursting to spill the beans every time I have a conversation with someone. So to get over the urge, I've started telling shop assistants, bus drivers, random crazy people on the street....anyone who I don't actually know but can congratulate me!!

Namechangingnorma · 12/06/2013 23:26

Ha ha Sam, i can totally relate to that, I am in the middle of a course of exercise which is quite hard work (Tabata) so had to tell the instructor so he could make sure everything is suitable without letting the rest of the class know. i loved telling him, he was honoured to be the only one aside from my husband and best friend (she guessed, couldnt lie)

Thisisfreakingmeout · 13/06/2013 06:53

Jelly, sorry to hear your having a horrible time. The last thing you should feel is embarrassed. I hope things look up for you soon.

Docs today, I feel quite nervous even though it will hopefully be brief and routine.

Apparentlychilled · 13/06/2013 11:15

God, this nausea is rough. less than 3 hours after a huge carby, sugary snack and I feel really queasy again. I can't surely eat again!

vix206 · 13/06/2013 11:17

3 hours?! I'm having to eat hourly ShockShockShock

OP posts:
Apparentlychilled · 13/06/2013 11:20

Oh, that makes me feel better! Though, to be fair, it was a massive bowl of porridge and sugar, then 3 slices of bread w nutella and a cup of tea. Shock! So it's not even that I'm eating good stuff!

I'm trying to comfort myself that with the first two I went through a phase of just wanting crap and it turned out OK (and I lost the 2.5 stone or so that I'd put on pretty easily). I just can't believe
a) how massive I am already (I promise- I think it'll only be a few weeks till I'm in mat gear); and
b) how much crap I'm eating.

vix206 · 13/06/2013 11:47

I am with you ALL the way!! I just can't bear the nausea if I don't eat. DS kept me up all night (for no good reason either) and, because I was awake, I was so hungry/nauseous!!

Been for my scan this morning. Not brilliant news but I'm holding out hope. Pregnancy in the right place, which after my ectopic is a massive relief, but it's not as far on as my dates would suggest. Just shows a sac and yolk. No fetal pole. My dates put me at 6+2 so would expect to see something. Got to go back next Friday and I'm just hoping my dates are slightly out. The waiting is the worst and feeling quite down about it all after last mc. Still got all my symptoms though so fx.

Sorry for the 'feeling sorry for myself' post Sad

vix206 · 13/06/2013 11:54

Choco I'm sorry the scan wasn't more positive but it is still very early so hopefully everything is ok. When are you going back for another check?

OP posts:
vix206 · 13/06/2013 11:55

Oops sorry just saw, next Friday.

ChocoFrog · 13/06/2013 12:01

In my head I'm being very sensible and saying early scans are notorious for not showing much but I think my hormones have got the better of me!

Ladybee · 13/06/2013 12:07

Ah chocofrog, sorry to hear that, it's hard when they can't give you a definitive answer and you have to repeat scan. It IS possible that your dates are out - or rather that it took a while to implant so growth was delayed, or even that it was just in an awkward angle and not visible - hope they see something next time around. Keep busy.

212 - have you told your DH yet? It took me a couple of days to tell mine. I had a blood test and was referred to the RPL clinic before I clued him in.

I'm having the opposite of hot flushes -am permanently freezing. Thankfully nausea isn't increasing yet, just sticking at the feeling hungover 10 hours of the day, desperate to nap between 2 and 4 level so far.

Speaking of sleep, the pregnancy 4am waking, I thoroughly recommend a podcast on low to help you ack to sleep. Either a relaxing hypnotherapy one or something like Melvyn Bragg's In Our Time podcasts. I must have heard the first 10 minutes of hundreds of them in my last pg, before drifting back to sleep.

Apparentlychilled · 13/06/2013 12:22

Chocofrog- I'm so sorry you didn't get to see everything. If it helps at all, my experience is v similar. I had an ectopic last October so had an early scan last week. I thought I was bang on 6 weeks pg, but they said it looked more like 4 weeks, so I'm going back again next week to try to see a heartbeat. My cycle was usually about 32 days, so being less pg than I thought kind of makes sense. They said that if the yolk sack and egg sack were in the right place and a good regular shape, that's all good and not indicative of any probs at this stage (which they were), so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you too.

Apparentlychilled · 13/06/2013 12:23

Ladybee- I'm with you on feeling like an iceberg. And my house is really cold at the best of times, so I feel like a total loon when I leave the house, with 3 jumpers on, only to realise it's not actually that cold (not that I'm removing any layers though!).

ChocoFrog · 13/06/2013 12:34

Thanks LadyBee and chilled. Good to know I'm not the only one! Fingers crossed for you too and roll on next week.

mrscookie78 · 13/06/2013 12:46

Hopefully your next scan will show more development Chocofrog. The dates we work out compared to scans rarely match up, not everyone ovulates and implants when we think.

Im nearly 5 weeks I think? im sooo cold all the time, glad its not just me
Smile

bugsyburge · 13/06/2013 13:29

I took another test yday, still positive thankfully!!!

I've had no symptoms apart from very tender boobs but that has started to ease now so I've been panicking that the pg has disappeared.

you're all having much more concrete symptoms than me, it's making me nervous!!!!

feekerry · 13/06/2013 14:00

hello all. just checking in after a few days if horrid nights from dd.... not much fun.
sorry to see some have or are having worrying times. best of luck...x
i did another test today too just because the hypermesis hasn't kicked in yet so it worries me slightly but all was fine and it said 3 weeks since conception and last week said 2 so pretty sure i will be around 5 weeks now.
have had terrible up and down emotions....never had that with dd. i literally had to pull over in the car the other day as i was stuck in traffic and late and i had a total melt down. people driving past were like Hmm
