Very early days but I'm due 26 January - really expecting early February after being 15 days late with DC1. Thought I'd get the ball rolling Grin

Anyone else?

Hi jelly so sorry about your news, and please don't feel stupid, your family will understand. Is there a chance it was a dud test?

Oh no jelly I'm so sorry to hear that! Are you ok? Don't feel stupid about having told your families, I'm sure they'll want to support you with this.

vix206 · 12/06/2013 11:00

Jelly go and buy one from a shop. After using Internet cheapies I wouldn't trust them. Good luck and whatever happens, don't feel stupid please xx

Jelly please don't feel stupid. I'm sure your family will understand. But do get yourself checked. Tests can be wrong so put your mind at ease. fx for you.

OrangeMochaFrappucino · 12/06/2013 12:04

Thanks - the doc did a test and it was negative as well. So was a clearblue I had. The doctor couldn't say for definite what happened but suspects that I conceived but it didn't implant and that I'll either get a normal period or re-ovulate and conceive again. I haven't really got my head around it and obviously very upset but I suppose it's so early that I could easily not even have known. And I have for comfort that dh and I have conceived easily so I am sure it will happen for us. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Hi Laura I'm having a hot flush right now! Blush

Thingymajigs · 12/06/2013 13:53

I'm so sorry jelly. I hope you are getting a lot of support from your family right now.

Yes laura I got them yesterday. My boss commented on my red face, chest and arms and I kept on feeling sudden rushes of heat and dizziness yet my core body temperature was normal. I've googled and it does seem to be a pregnancy issue for some so nothing to worry about.

Cherryoats · 12/06/2013 14:00

Thinking of you jelly Flowers

Yep, also feeling run down and just had a monster cold sore.

amicusapple · 12/06/2013 19:39

Hiya all and welcome to all the new passengers. We're gonna need a bigger bus at this rate Grin

Been lying low for a while after some spotting but all seems okay and made it to 7 weeks today.

I'm a bit confused about what happens next?met the midwife last week who said she'd visit me at home for my booking in appointment. Do I just wait for her to send me an appointment?

Symptoms seem to be avoiding me other than dizziness when I get up too quick. I almost want a wee bit morning sickness!
ducks the fists of those suffering

Holy crap. Long thread already.
I'm still in shock.
Got some huge health conflicting problems which are stopping me from settling in or starting to enjoy my pregnancy.
Need to have a conversation with my surgeon first...
Congrats to everyone x

laura0007 · 12/06/2013 20:03

Glad it's not just me then! I answered the door to the postman this morning with a red face and neck whilst fanning myself with a magazine. He looked a bit shocked as it was cold and raining outside!
