Cup of tea inhaled bronze lol better now!

Thanks for the spread sheet clapham

MotherOfNations · 23/05/2013 15:47

I fell asleep on the sofa straight after lunch and only woke up when I heard dd answering the front door and speaking to a man. I went to investigate just in time to see an Iceland delivery man driving off and there was 6 bags of shopping in the porch. I hadn't ordered anything. I phoned the store and they came back to collect it all but what amused me was that when I done my nosey through the bags one was full of fattening ready meals, one full of bicuits (8 different kinds) one full of weight watchers deserts and another had a solitary lettuce in it.
Surely if you were going to eat all that crap you'd be as well buying some decent deserts.

Smitten1981 · 23/05/2013 15:55

MoN I'm under the impression that all they sell at Iceland is ready meals and junk? I'm not sure how you're supposed to do enough of a weekly shop there to warrant a delivery.

Wickedgirl · 23/05/2013 16:02

I went for afternoon tea with friends this afternoon and it was lovely. Is it so nice to be able to eat again without feeling ill

MotherOfNations · 23/05/2013 16:08

Smitten I go in for frozen vegetables and quorn mince and am always amazed that there are people there with trolleys full to the brim.
Probably these are the same people who were worried about sending their children on a 3 day school trip recently because the meal options didn't include chicken nuggets and sausages.

MotherOfNations · 23/05/2013 16:10

Warlin the trouble with getting your appetite back is that it becomes somewhat of a novelty and you want to eat everything just because you can.

MotherOfNations · 23/05/2013 16:40

Oops! I meant wicked. Serious baby brain today.

Shirehobbit · 23/05/2013 17:11

Super scan news, today Grin

I had to keep sneaking peeks at our picture from yesterday to remind myself it's all still real!

I haven't looked at buying anything for the baby, yet - and don't really know where to start Blush but we are being given loads of stuff, 2nd hand, so I've been stock piling that in the spare room.
So I guess the changing bag is important, then?

pinkbuttons · 23/05/2013 18:06

Thanks for the spreadsheet claphamma great idea, although Im clearly a computer novice as for some reason my due date has come up on the wrong side, and Im not sure why. sorry to make it messy...

Great news on all the scans ladies! so lovely to come on and read.

20+5 here and had my consultant appt yesterday and all is well so far. If my bloods are clear in 8 weeks then Ill be all set to go to the midwife led unit Grin very happy and just keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Natalieand · 23/05/2013 18:24

It let me type my due date in the document but wouldn't let me save it? Or it probly would but I have no idea how to do it so if n e one can do it for me that would be lovely :-) 14/10/13

claphammama · 23/05/2013 19:02

I've just formatted it pinkbuttons - I'm a terrible perfectionist too :-)

just added it natalie - it all autosaves so, once you add or change something in the doc, there is no need to save anything

So far we have: 6 boys, 2 girls and 3 surprises! But still lots of people missing. Can't wait to know which column I'm going to be!!!

pinkbuttons · 23/05/2013 19:20

Thankyou claphammama would have bugged me forever Grin

Natalieand · 23/05/2013 20:38

When do u find out clapham? I'm scanning tommorow and if I remember rightly lots of others r scanning tommorow too?

Ellie15 · 23/05/2013 21:05

I'm scanning tomorrow too, thanks for sorting the spreadsheet Claphammama I'll add myself tomorrow (we are hopefully finding out the sex if someone behaves anyway). Thanks also for suggesting the bababing change bag, looks really good. We haven't really bought any baby things yet, just finalising our first and biggest baby purchase this weekend, a new car.

MrsZzz · 23/05/2013 21:06

Congrats on all the great scans ladies. Had mine yesterday- all looks good and it's... A boy! I'm really happy that DS will have a little brother to play with :)

claphammama · 23/05/2013 21:17

congrats MrsZzz! please add to the spreadsheet if you can :-)

good luck for tomorrow Natalie and Ellie

Natalie I'm scanning only on 4th June... booooo... :-( I'm only 18+2 today. Will be exactly 20 when scanning

Natalieand · 23/05/2013 21:33

Now I no this may sound a little
Morbid but a anyone really wishing the 24 week mark to hurry
Up? Cos when u get to 24 weeks they will do everything in their power too give the baby the best chance should u deliver! Dh cousins gf had a baby in November at 23+6 (baby was atchly due in march) and she survived and is home now weighing 10lbs with virtually no medical problems! Roll on 24 weeks!

Natalieand · 23/05/2013 21:34

Hopefully June 4th gets here ASAP for u clapham my scan is at 19+4 (tommorow) good luck tommorow ellie and congrats on the baby boy mrszzz

TheFalconsmistress · 23/05/2013 21:37

natalie I think like this every day your not alone, lovely to hear your dh cousins gf baby is all well. I was born at 28 weeks its always on my mind!!

JellyCurls · 23/05/2013 21:40

Added myself to your super list. We didn't want to know whether having boy or girl but baby was lying with legs wide open with all his boy bits on show. Even the most uneducated person could have told he was a boy. Dc1 is so excited :-)

Lets talk puffiness now. My left leg and foot keep swelling every night. Tonight I have one cankle and balloon foot and one ankle and slim foot. Any ideas?

favellio · 23/05/2013 21:42

I had my scan this morning. Everything was fine and growing as it should be. Baby was very active and kept making suckling motions with its mouth and scratching its nose Smile
My husband is now super excited. I think it's finely sunk in properly with him. He went to mothercare after he finished work and came home with a gorgeous unisex all-in-one with matching hat, and a little chunky knit cardigan. He even informed my that he looked at changing bags and thinks we should buy a black leather one they had in there! I've not even considered changing bags yet lol
Hope everyone's ok?GrinGrinGrin

Natalieand · 23/05/2013 21:43

U need to keep your feet elevated jelly to help the swelling go down and congrats on the baby boy :-) one of many on this thread lol

pinkbuttons · 23/05/2013 21:52

Just popping in before bex to say Good Luck to all those with scans tomorrow!!
and Congratulations to the many scans today and yesterday :)
Also natalie Ive been thinking the same recently I feel like once I get past 24 weeks every week will be a relief. Heres hoping none of us have anything to worry about.
Hope babies behave themselves in scans tomorrow. xx

pinkbuttons · 23/05/2013 21:53

meant before bed not bex Hmm clearly need sleep.

ananikifo · 23/05/2013 22:00
