Still no scan date here. Considering an early scan just so I can see something. Feeling pretty rough lately. Lots of heaving, bleugh.

made it in to work today, for the first time this week!

artyone I'm the same, still not got a scan date, I'm hoping I get one at my midwife appointment on Monday. I won't relax until I have the scan. Thought about getting a private one but feel so ill most of the time I just want to stay at home.

Oucheeeeee.... I keep getting a really sharp shooting pain in my boob going into my nipple!! I'm guessing its just growing pains but is anyone else experiencing this (or has done before) and know how to stop it? The only pain relief is if I push on it but not a good look as I'm in public!!

Miss Tweed Nope not unless I lay on my tummy. They do however itch ALL THE TIME!!!! It's embarrassing in public!

I do have happier news. I had a good nuchal at the FMC and screen neg for major trisomies from the Harmony (so less than 1 in 10, 000 chance for downs, Edwards and patous). Though I wouldn't have terminated for downs (though would the other 2) it is nice to have some reassurance that chromosome problems are pretty much not going to be an issue (touch wood).
Will read back now and try to catch up with you chatty ladies

mummypanda re: sex of baby, at the FMC they have a sort of 'angle of the dangle' theory they use to sex baby from 10 weeks - only 80-90% success, and god damn it I didn't ask yesterday as they had so much more else to look at and there didn't seem to be an appropriate time to interrupt and ask...still, will be interesting to see if it indeed a girl at the 20 wk scan.

Bit of a worrying development here - after my U/sound on Tues, last night the brown spotting turned red and although it's not lots it's been fairly persistent.

Just been to a doctor's appointment that I had booked anyway and as expected said it could go either way - it was just a waiting game :/

So I could go back to the EP clinic tomorrow morning - and at least see what they say, or just wait it out. Feel so sure it's over but trying to stay positive!

suffolk we have netflix, I had already seen it when I was prego with dd but this pg I've already watched it on netflix 3 times!! Its the best film to watch when preggy, makes you feel better and laugh at yourself!

whenshe I am always accidentally clicking on report on my phone! Don't worry it takes you to a form you have to fill out with reasons etc so as long as you didn't fill out the form and press submit it won't do anything.

Misstweed in my last pregnancy I got awful sharp pains in my nipples when they were cold - I got out of the car one night when it was snowing and icy and the pain was unbearable. I had to sit and hold them for 20 minutes. Honestly I was almost crying. Not sure what caused it though - blood rushing to them? Mmmm not sure. My nipples are pretty sore at times this time too - oddly my right one is worse.

Feeling a bit nauseous tonight but the decrease in my symptoms is stressing me out quite a bit. I know there is no point in me worrying and I should just enjoy feeling a bit better. I actually feel terrible even moaning about this when others have had such sad news

Ok I am going to eat/lick some crisps and read my kindle for a bit before going to sleep. I have a lovely jot water bottle at my feet too

I went to try to buy a new bra today. I have come away in shock as I appear to be an HH cup bordering on J. My brain cannot handle this. I cannot buy a maternity bra just yet, I really can't. I'm going to have to find time to go to Debs this weekend to try on everything. In between packing boxes...argh.

I still feel totally fed up. But my vomit catching is making me smile somewhat now. My friend also said it's good practice for parenthood, she reckons you can always spot the parent, they're the ones running towards the vommy child! If I continue to feel very down, I'm going to see my doc to see if a review of my anti-d is in order.

Fairy I'm bloody tired too. I was nodding off at my desk yesterday. My latest craving is cheese and pickle sandwiches and wispa bars. I also found myself craving something sweet and next thing I know I'm attacking golden syrup. 😚

Oh gosh couldn't sleep all night must've had about 3hrs I'm so nervous about scan in an hour! Ahh. Feeling absolutely knackered. At least I'll know one way or another in an hour or so..
