Poppy so sorry for your loss Thanks

Theboob huge congratulations that is super news!! With dd and now this pregnancy I have secretly hope there would be two little heartbeats Grin what a surprise you must have had!!!

Alwaystheauntie I for new look black skinny jeans today size 18 and they are very comfy. I am 5ft9 and only needed the 32 inside leg which is unusual for me. The other jeans were all too big still, for some reason these seemed smaller made - they ate little big and not super skinny so very comfortable Grin I'm desperate to wear them but a little embarrassed so early! I feel self conscious with my button undone though, might invest in some bump bands - is that what they are for?

Anyone actually wearing maternity jeans yet?

Dizzy I have had extra discharge but last time round had a lot extra so am expecting that at some point. Can identify with the gushing! I also worry its blood and run to the loo occasionally. And mine is yellow too, nice.

Thanks for the maternity clothes suggestions. I have bought a couple of tops in a bigger size - tops that work ok as oversize just now and will hopefully be ok over a bump. Going to have a wee peek at Asos just now. Williamina i got fab maternity trousers from m&s last time but their website was rubbish, will try and get into a bigger shop and see what they have.

I am thinking I might tell my boss I'm pregnant. Struggling a bit in work and the constant nausea and rubbish sleep isn't helping - I don't want special treatment - or maybe I do!!! No I don't I just want the boss to know why I am not myself. What do you guys think?

harverina · 11/04/2013 23:10

Honey do you have a microwave? I hardly use mine but in your situation i would use the micro as its only for a short time. Most supermarkets have children's ready meals now with reduced salt etc. haven't tried them due to dd's allergies though. But micro chips, beans, uncle bens rice, frozen veg etc are very handy too in emergencies. What about a toastie machine, do you have one? Or a caring family member who would have you over for dinner for a few nights at a time haha!! You'll be fine for the two weeks as long as your not too worried about using convenience food.

littlemonkey2013 · 11/04/2013 23:14

congrats for boob for your twin news
boy i hope that you continue to have a healthy pregnancy

and i too have a lot of discharge and sometimes the gushing feeling. more clear than yellow though. but definitely worrying and thinking its blood.

i had my biggest dinner in about a week tonight. fish and salad and i didnt fee sick afterwards woohoo!!!

notsoold · 11/04/2013 23:26

harverina · 12/04/2013 00:37

Lying awake feeling so so sick Hmm grrrrrr!!! So tired but sickness is just awful. Think I may actually be sick but dread that so trying hard just to lie still. Sorry for moaning dh is away this week so have no one else to moan too sorry Hmm

williaminajetfighter · 12/04/2013 06:11

Jbird I hope you're ok and that the spotting is just spotting and nothing else. Let us know how you get on.

theboob · 12/04/2013 07:22

thinking of you too Jbrd xx

Thankyou all , DH is over the moon ! I am still in shock tbh , youngest child will be 4 when they arrive but no doubt this is going to be hard work !

Fairydogmother · 12/04/2013 07:23

JBrd hope everything is ok

River so cool theres a fellow NI person - yay!

Harv I would tell your boss and that way if they thought you were struggling they'd know the reason why

I had to pee literally 6 times last night so I'm shattered. I get thirsty at night so I drink water tho I know I should cut down the fluids a bit and then I wouldn't have to pee so much!

getoffthecoffeetable · 12/04/2013 07:23

JBrd hope that you're ok and the wedding takes your mind off of other worries.

MissTweed · 12/04/2013 07:46

My thoughts are with you jbrd Thanks

Dizzy81 · 12/04/2013 07:59

Thanks ladies for the reassurance! Honey I'm the same as you on the am I bleeding front!

BoyMeetsWorld · 12/04/2013 08:44

How's it going JBird? Any improvement? Hope you manage to enjoy the wedding x

How's everyone else today? I'm starting to feel a bit more human - will be so glad to get back to work on Monday although I'll be so far behind :s the rest has def helped though.

Dizzy81 · 12/04/2013 09:05

Jbrd, just seen your post. Big hugs xxx

harverina · 12/04/2013 09:24

Jbrd how are you this morning?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 12/04/2013 09:31

Any better this morning jbrd Thanks

Properly anxious about scan to tomorrow. Finally managed to sleep but then kept having nightmares where I was getting bad news at the scan. That set off my ibs so since 3 am I've been running to the toilet and doubled over with cramps.

Only 25 hours and the scan will be over and I can either stop panicking or I will know what to panic about.

berrybomb · 12/04/2013 09:33

JBrd - I'm still spotting too, it really is worrying. I'm not sure at what point I had my MC last time (very irregular periods as I was on the minipill at the time), but I think it was around this mark too. Luckily it does seem to be getting lighter in colour, as though its getting more diluted with the lovely discharge. FX for you.

boob - twins!! How exciting!

I had a big old cry this morning - my poor DP, he doesn't recognise me as this emotional, lazy girlfriend! I think it was just because we were out last night and didn't get back till late, so I was shattered and just didn't want to get up and felt all teary, for no real reason!

OneLittleToddleTerror · 12/04/2013 09:38

jbrd hope you are ok and it's just normal spotting.

harverina yes I've started wearning maternity jeans and trousers last week. (Week 10). I just can't button up my normal ones anymore. What could a girl do? I am wearing large woolley jumpers last week, but switched to tunics this week as the weather has gone warmer. I worn a knitted dress in the weekend but there's a very obvious bump because it's very figure hugging (but stretchy). Not something I'd normally want but DH, DD and I went to the Harry Potter studio so it's highly unlikely I'll bump into anyone.

MummaPanda · 12/04/2013 09:56

Ok so I have now gone almost a full week on no sleep. Dd won't sleep more than an hour at a time, quite often less. And now dh is telling me he's going to work saturday aswell when the weekends is the only time he helps at night! I can't do another night like this!! Am so desperately tired!

MummaPanda · 12/04/2013 09:57

Oh and congrats on twins boob! Wonder if we will have any more??

louby86 · 12/04/2013 09:58

Congrats on twins boob, so exciting!

Looks like the HG may be on its way back here Hmm off to the doctors on Monday to get something, feeling awful. Had 9 weeks signed off work with it last time, I'm hoping I'm not as bad this time.

TiredFeet · 12/04/2013 10:13

congratulations on twins boob!! how exciting!

louby86 don't feel you need to wait till Monday! I wish I had gone sooner for medication than I did. If you are being ill see if you can get a last minute appointment today, or try for an out of hours one over the weekend. I think the sooner you start treating it the better. Massive sympathies. If its any encouragement / help, last time I was signed off work for 5 weeks. This time, because a lovely GP referred me to hospital and got me rehydrated quite fast, I am feeling not quite as grim and even made it in to work on Thursday. the ladies on the hyperemesis thread on the pregnancy board are very helpful I found.

boymeetsworld glad you are starting to feel more human Smile

I am having a pretty bad start to the day, but parents in law have come and taken DS to the beach, so I can get a bit of rest at least. so funny watching DS interact with them, he hasn't seen them for a few weeks so was trying to tell them all his important news :he has a red Frisbee! and they have trikes at nursery!! and he fed the ducks some bread!!!! Grin

MissTweed · 12/04/2013 11:09

What the hell happened to me last night?? Blush
Has anyone else woken up to discover a sudden belly!! I'm 12+1 and so far I've been able to hide the pregnancy (although EVERYONE in work knows, I work in the lab where the blood goes so was always going to impossible to hide that one!) but other friends and none of my family know yet (was waiting till scan on Monday) I woke up this morning and I suddenly look very pregnant!!

EcoHippyMum · 12/04/2013 11:30

Hello all, sorry for your loss Poppy and hope you are being kind to yourself. Jbird hope you are okay Hun.
Massive congratulations Boob, I think they are going to be checking me very thoroughly at scan time as there are twins in both sides, my DH is a twin too.
Misstweed I am ten weeks today and I look pregnant already - also getting lovely round ligament pains when turning to fast, sneezing etc. hope these are all positive signs after all the spotting I have had!
Havarina I have a pair but they fall down on me!
Dizzy I felt flutter info from 12 weeks with all three of my daughters, will be interesting to see if its any different this time as its a different Dad!

OneLittleToddleTerror · 12/04/2013 11:43

berrybomb I'm still spotting too, btw. I think we started spotting on the same day isn't it? It's day 3 now if I haven't lost count. I just got the biggest wipe of blood when I went to the loo. But I was very constipated and was pushing, maybe that pushes out more blood? (TMI and Hmm). Really really trying to not worry. I reckon there is nothing I could do now. They don't do scans in the weekend, and my 12 week scan is next tuesday. So really all I could do is wait till tuesday.
