abi thats shocking I'm on consultant care too, but I saw my midwife at 10wk booking then at my 12wk scan my consultant at 12wks then my midwife at 16 again. It's prob different procedure round here to your area, but I still think going from 10 to 24wk without seeing a midwife is terrible :( xx

Abilee90 · 19/03/2013 13:33

I see consultant twice a week so i gather thats why. Shes always on bloody holiday also. Next time i see her is 18th of april.
But then consultant is great and does all the normal, so not much different. Gtt is booked for may 14 :/ great.

Anyone else get a hard patch on belly where baby is. I seem to get a lump where he is laying, it sticks out. Defo him
Aswell, as i put my home doppler on the spot and pick up his heart beat. Maybe his very pushed forward?

Hurry up fri! Want to see my little man again!
20+1 :) xxx

A little winge. Picked up mother in law from her work this morning to take her home. I was a little late so She had a comment about being late getting up.

I was infact vomiting in the garden for 10 min unable to move!!

So I said actually I wasn't well.

Oh? Have you tried dry biscuits or ginger?!

Fucking ginger????!!!!! ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

I feel your pain woofers! I had the dieticiain visit me at hospital this morning and even she suggested ginger biscuits. As if I would have got to 21 weeks without having tried flipping everything.

I'm out of hospital but back to daily visits from tomorrow given my spectacular failure to cope last week. I had so little sleep last night, I feel exhausted.

Pregnancy, meant to be a happy glowing time? Meh.

RuckAndRoll · 19/03/2013 14:10

waves and woofers you have more self restraint than I would've! my SIL suggested the same to me and got a rather sarcastic response.

glad you're onto day care again waves.

I'm off sick again after a flare up of my ongoing med condition. I can't medicate it like normal so was up all night in agony. Always fun. But on the plus side, baby is wriggling so hopefully happy.

beckie90 · 19/03/2013 14:41

abi yea i get a hard lump stick out like his back or something I can normally always feel Were he's laid, strange lol xx

Abilee90 · 19/03/2013 15:57

A bit down hearted today! The house we put in an offer has a completion of 6/7 months time. Plus our offer got refused feel gutted. So depressed atm. Now to worry about having no where to live by the end of august and i've became all teary! Sometimes i just wanna scream for f* sake!

Waiting for luck to change xx

Mrsd77 · 19/03/2013 17:53

Hi all! Long time no post I know! I'm a champion lurker though!

Just had twenty week scan and all is well. So relieved! Even summoned up the nerve to make a couple of purchases. Very pleased with my spotty muslins!

Add me to team yellow please!

DH so chuffed it looks like I may have talked him into us having a new pram. It's been a good day!

20+5

BrieMonster · 19/03/2013 19:27

Have been lurking just not joining in much. Glad to hear all the good news and hope those of you suffering get some respite soon. It has to end right?
Had my 20 week scan in 2 parts and finally found out today that all looks well including a willy. Hadn't realised how much I'd convinced myself this was a girl... But am stoked. Big brother will be 2 and a bit when this one comes along.

I'm jealous of all the new, even new secondhand, buggy buying. We'll be sticking with what we have. In fact we have blinking everything we need which is great for the purse but hope I don't make up for it but splurging on daft stuff. Oh we'll.

BrieMonster · 19/03/2013 19:28

Oh and 21 + 3.

Woofers · 19/03/2013 20:18

Sorry about that abi. Bit of a stumbling block!
Mind you there are loads of houses coming on the market so you might find one which is perfect and wanting a quick sale.

Ggrrrrr ginger biscuits. Dietician. Pfft. Did she say anything that was useful? I've prescribed myself ice cream as and when able to ensure I get calories or something like that

I'm booked in with an osteopath for a painful hip / bum. Il let you know how I get on. I've seen him before for back pain and shoulder pain and I was fixed in 6 sessions.

wavesandsmiles · 19/03/2013 20:28

woofers I have been given loads of fortijuice drinks by the dietician, and a prescription for more, which are grim drunk neat, but can be diluted down, or made into icelollies. There are 300 calories in each drink, so hoping that I'll get calories/nutrition that way....Good luck with the osteopath!

Woofers · 19/03/2013 21:23

Eugh forti-juice. Keep that thanks. Il keeps to my magnum ice cream Grin

beckie90 · 19/03/2013 21:24

brie congrats on team blue baby :) xx

Dexidoo · 20/03/2013 06:51

woofers I go to an osteopath for low back/sacroiliac pain find it really good, especially now popping the odd ibuprofen is off limits.
Only thing is standing in bra and pants with wobbly bits exposed is a bit unnerving to start with.

Not sure if I'm starting to feel movements or if I have wind!!

Dexidoo · 20/03/2013 06:58

RuckAndRoll · 20/03/2013 08:25

I need your help ladies.

I have a stomach condition which I can't medicate as normal at the moment, normally it flares up for no more than 6 hours. I had a flare up monday night, up all night, on and off all day yesterday, now in agony, can't stand upright. Pretty sure Iit's stomach, not baby, but think I need help but don't know who to turn to. GP, midwife, hospital?

Think work is off again today.

Happy Birthday Jolly Thanks

Isisizzie · 20/03/2013 08:27

Happy birthday Jolly. xxx

JollyYellowGiant · 20/03/2013 08:31

Thank you lovely ladies.

Ruck, I would go with any of them. Wherever you will get seen quickest would be best. MW probably least useful as I doubt she can prescribe or take real action.

RuckAndRoll · 20/03/2013 08:43

Thanks Jolly, I phoned the GP in tears and have an appointment later this morning which is pretty miraculous for them. Spoke to DH and he said if need me he'll come and get me and we'll go up to the hospital. not been in this much pain with it before.

May be back later but now I'm off to cry for a bit.
