Urrggh for all the dental talk! mrswajs I'd try and put that off for as long as possible, at least until I could be completely knocked out! Crunching and grinding do not sound pleasant!
Abilee have you ever had a proper debrief from a specialist about your previous labour experience? Waking up having nightmares about labour sounds terrible. Would you consider some form of counselling or hypnotherapy treatment to help you process what happened and give you some help towards staying calm this time round?
Welcome Pixie, best of luck for Thursday!
RugBugs we didn't find out the sex of DS1 because he was our first and we wanted to keep it a surprise. We did find out DD's gender, because we thought it would help DS bond with the baby (he was about 2.5 yrs when we told him) and it was different but just as nice to prepare a pink room rather than a beige room. When it came to pushing, it still felt just as special, because although we knew DD was a girl, we hadn't met her, seen her little face or hands etc iyswim? So it was still just as a lovely as when we were getting to meet DS1. This time, we found out the sex because again, it will hopefully help the kids to bond with this baby, and also we can start to sort out and sell/donate the small mountain of clothes for the gender we no longer need!
Totally agree it is more tiring second (or third!) time round!
